When you go to Germany from south Africa, you will realize that everything there is double the price. The appliances you buy here cost more there in general. Not because the rand is lower, nje you just pay more for stuff there. I can't imagine buying a car that comes from Germany. My friend bought a burger for 3 hundred and something. It's a no from me.
The school bag for the cables will cost you another 150k😂😂
Reba I love you so much. But you cannot mention a floating center console but show us the door handle. Please just pay attention on the synchronization of the video with the narration. Otherwise beautiful review as always.

Dankie for another lovely review Reba. But comparing petrol and electric variants of the same car will never make sense in Cyril's economy. For instance, an electric mini Cooper costs pretty much the same as the petrol X1 and it has around 200km range. Electric cars in South Africa incur higher taxes and levies - potentially due to the absence of petrol-related expenses...
But there are cheaper options like I mentioned.

This car (new X1 marques nje), according to Mzwandile, has Reba written over it. It suits you ("for me" ). Although X1s suit both genders, I find it to be quite elegant and fitting for your sprightly selufu. Brilliant review, BTW!

definitely agree that the price is not justifiable in relation to its combustion counterpart. Would rather get the EX30 instead and keep the change!

Imagine paying more for less range 😢. Eish this economy ,id gladly take the diseal it has almost double the range ,costs less and im not gonna miss on any major styling 🙃. Anotber great review Maseve.

One of that last decent looking BMWs (not counting its rear). All they needed to do was give it the same rear design as the 3 series Touring. Would've looked way better but everywhere else is fine. I like it.

Depends on charger speed. 1-3 hours

Overpriced German cars hey, this is why most of the German EV’s in SA will fail. I’d rather import a Chinese EV that’s half the price, with more range and way better power and gadgets

I appreciate the way you broke down factors like the price of the car compared to the diesel X1 and iX3. Why should I pay so much when there's other alternative. I think with most consumers we want to know the cost effectiveness of leaving gasol for EV. Please breakdown the Rand and cents of a full charge compared to pumping 95 full tank for the week.🫶
