The Collector is an instant favorite
Same. In the few minutes he was on screen, he immediately jumped to my top 5 favorite characters
And it's easy to see why. They have so many combining features that most people instantly fall in love with.
A cute and unique character design disguising over an extremely demented yet niave persona. Also a bomb ass jingle to with with him. And the fact that he essentially handed Belos his own ass in 2 seconds flat.

Food for thought: When the collector starts making the "Owl house" they're not just taking apart any regular building here. They were in the skull of the Titan. This entity was tearing apart and tossing around the bones of a GOD like it was dry spaghetti

@@unicodeBaby They’re both gods, but it’s hard to tell which is stronger. Bc Kings dad sealed The Collector away. The other Collectors killed all the other Titans though. So maybe they’re about on equal playing grounds. If not Kings dad just tricked The Collector & that’s how he got sealed. I mean it’s pretty easy to manipulate him. Since he’s a kid & only cares about playing games.

For me, it was Discord :D
This child really showed up, decided to redecorate with Bellos swamp sludge paint that they got from Home Depot, took a break to let it set and dry, and then logged on to Tinder and swiped right on the frickin’ moon.
And then Bellos’ happy ass is tagging along like some resilient tile mold 🫠
NGL, I don't understand why it took The Collector having a physical body for people to realize just how much they don't care about anything other than playing games. People were just ignoring practically everything Collector said because they were so dead set on thinking of them as a villain, but honestly Collector just wants friends to play with and happens to be more powerful than is fair. They don't give a shit about hurting people, but they're not necessarily doing anything with malicious intent either.
They don't care about hurting others the way kids can be violent while playing. They usually grow out of it. Collector is stuck in this mindset, most likely due to his god levels and prolong isolation. His development is so harmed, it's really sad.

I don’t really frequent the owl house but I do have to say, the collector is a child, that much is obvious, but people shouldn’t be seeing the collector act like a brat and then have everyone else being like “awww he’s a wittle guy” like no bitch that’s power incarnate you need to do smth about it, because from what I’ve seen so far the collector doesn’t want to follow rules and doesn’t want to do what he’s told,
@@S0urmf420 So, I hope this doesn’t start an argument or anything, Collector does seem willing to listen and follow rules as long as they apply or sound like something from a game. If you can make it sound fun then he doesn’t really seem upset by it at all. S3 Ep2 just came out, and we see that he respects King's wishing not to hold Francois, even when King left the room and wasn’t looking, so it's not like he’s incapable of understanding boundaries or will refuse them if he sees you as a friend. The problem is indeed him being a child and has nothing to do with him being "evil" in any way; viewing him as an antagonist makes sense, but to say he's a villain isn’t the same. Just like with real kids, they don’t actively means to say or do harmful things to each other, but they do sometimes, and it is our job as the mature party to explain to them why they can't do those things by appealing to their empathy (which so far it seems only King has even tried to do).

I love how the Collector is basically a 5 year old with the powers of the fucking Sun. And knows that he has these powers but is oblivious to most things and can get tricked easily.
It really goes to show how powerful the collector is, as soon as they appear belos immediately backs away in fright. Then of course what they do after with minimal effort. R.I.P.
6:00 it may be a risky move on King’s part but with the draining spell in effect he doesn’t have many good options. I also love the obvious fear in Belos’ voice knowing that the collector can end his whole career.

I remember hearing of the theory that the Collector would possess Luz. That much power in the imaginative mind of our protagonist? A scary thought.
I feel like collector is more similar to Discord from MLP as supposed to Bill from Gravity Falls because Bill was a schemer whereas Collector and Discord did their crazy in the moment and never really had any sort of plan beyond raw power and reality manipulation. If you never saw MLP either take my word for it or maybe try the show out for yourself. Discord's first appearance is the season 2 premiere so even if you don't like the show you won't have to watch to far in.
