Good morning and Happy Easter, I am looking for a job offer in Germany and planning to move soon, and I have the below questions: 1-I am IT Engineer (holding Russian & Syrian Passports) living and working in Poland for 5 years and I have Polish EU blue card , so I can enter Germany without any problems but I need to apply for a German Card within a month, right? 2- If meet the Blue card requirement in Germany and I will apply for it, I read it may take up to 3 months to get it, does that mean that I need to wait till I got the card to start working, and I am not allowed to work before that time? so I can stay legally in Germany till my card issued and my company need to wait for me? what if it took too long and the company didn't want to wait? 3-How 5 years having Polish EU blue card can be transferred to the German one, or it can not?

Hello, I’m a blue card applicant and I submitted my documents to German Embassy on 28th Feb but till now I haven’t received any passport back. When I enquired I got to know that my application is at employment agency but when my employer contacted the employment agency they said they don’t have any application associated with my name. I’m really confused whom to reach out and how much more time it might take? Thank you!
hello mam, I have one question if you can help me i have Italian PR now and last year I moved in sweden and now I have TRC card of 5 year in sweden and my wife have also but now I want to move in Germany so I have question my wife need to go back India and get again visa for Germany or she can change here in Germany plz tell me, thanks alot
Hi Internationalist, If you move within a company group but get a new local contract in Germany, then you are not per se an intra-company transferee and as such can apply for a Blue Card. However, sensu stricto ICT transferees without a local contract in Germany are expelled from the Blue Card applications. Have a nice day!
Thanks for your comment Rachuri. Yes, you can. We recommend that you check the official websites of the universities for the requirements. We wish you success!
Hi EG, I'm from India and I'm traveling to Germany on January month under Jobseeker Visa and want to know if ExpatsGuide will also provide Job search service?
Interesting video about job searches, I am experienced IT professional from Bangalore and i have tried from here applying jobs in germany through Xing, Linkedin. But i didn't get even one positive response. Is there a way to get job from here and then take forward for EU Blue card process please..
Thanks for your comment Gururajab. We recommend you go to the official website of your embassy and check the Blue Card requirements. There is also a 6-month work search visa, but you should be aware that the requirements are more demanding. We wish you a lot of success!

Is the minimum salary for applying for a blue card the same in all of the states of Germany?
Hi Raaf, yes, it does not matter where you are applying to, the amount it is the same, although every year changes. Hope it helps!
Wrong, it is allowed for intra-company transfers if you are a salaried employee.
