Hi Jan, If I hold a blue card from another country(in my case Poland) for 3 years i.e. more than 2 years do I need to follow the same process as I would if I would hold a Czech Republic Blue card? or are there more procedures and formalities in switching blue card from one EU country to another ?
@@jankalina-CzechVisaExpertthx for reply. Sorry I was confused in type.My visa type says Long-term Residence Permit. Will I be able to change my employer without ministry involvement?
@@nikhil2jan No worries! Therminology is very important in immigration! Check the front of your card, it should say something like "Volny vstup na trh prace - ANO" or "Volny vstup na trh prace - NE", that will tell you if you are allowe to work. If you are, you do not have to report the change of employer anywhere since your residence permit is not based on employment :)
