I’ll be frank with you. Naruto versus Goku tends to be an overdone debate which I tend to view as a stomp. That being said, I do believe that there are specific circumstances where a Naruto character can win. If speed were equalized, I could say that Itachi beats Goku. I mean, Tsukuyomi is amazing. And if someone like Kisame is there with his waterprison technique, Goku would drown before he wakes up. And I suppose that this is the real root of the debate. While Naruto generally can not go up against Goku head on, there are specific ways and techniques he can use to bring Goku down in another style. Think when Krillin was fighting Super Saiyan Blue Goku. While Goku was suppressed, he was still using Super Saiyan Blue, which by definition must at least match Super Saiyan god in strength due to possessing god-ki. Krillin managed to survive by outsmarting Goku, though Goku eventually got serious, and Android 18 needed to step in the way. We also get another example of brains over brawn by looking at Bio-Broly in which Goten and Trunks, without fusion, defeated the clone of Broly by probing for weaknesses and pouncing on it. It is these types of strategies that allow Goku to be defeated by Naruto characters in certain types of battles. Some hax abilities that surpass physical limitation could defeat Goku. It’s also why I’m of the frame of mind to believe that various Stands from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure could beat him, chief among these being The World Over Heaven and Gold Experience Requiem (Obviously). I also believe that Tusk Act 4, Soft & Wet and perhaps Wonder of U could defeat Goku, given that Wonder of U is the pure embodiment of calamity itself, Soft & Wet is shown to be able to effect such concepts (Which is how it beat Wonder of U), and Tusk Act 4 just possesses literally infinite power in every punch due to spin. But alas, I’m getting off track. This is supposed to be about Naruto. So, for the sake of argument, lets see what happens if we drop Naruto into the Dragon Ball universe at around the same time as the start of Z.

What if Naruto was actually the nine tails.
Ok let me explain, before Mito Uzumaki could seal him into herself, Kurama would break free, run for a week, he would meet Hasirama and fight, resulting in Kurama being killed, and what chakra they had left would be sealed into Mito and all following jinchūriki.
After a decade Kurama would return but remain hidden for a time, only to be discovered when Obito put him under a genjutsu and have him attack the leaf. The fight would remain identical except there will not be a baby Naruto.
So for the sealing, Kushina couldn’t do it because she didn’t have the chakra or the time to place the seals and Minato couldn’t just drag the fox to the afterlife. So Kurama would end up being transformed into a newborn, his chakra sealed to be at the same level as one, and the third hokage would believe him to be Naruto and take him to the village, he would accept this to remain hidden.
His friends and powers wouldn’t change only being revealed for what he truly is when training with B and Gyuki.

I mean I think people when taking these things into a What-if Concept don't realize that if you give the benefits of the world and narrative and characters that Naruto in the Dragonball World could become Busted while Goku in the NAruto World could maybe become stronger than 6 Paths Madara and Peak there.
Maybe he'll use Ultra Instinct and be able to beat up Isshiki at the cost of his Life or something...

I think Naruto vs Goku was a debate in the past partly about Portrayal and things we didn't know people trying to scale without knowing how to and then later learning how to scale more by this point we get it's Ridiculous and that Goku most likely wins unless he gets Weaker or Naruto gets hella stronger.
Although I think those days are likely more gone as more people who know how to scale exist and this day of the net As well as it being more obvious who is trolling and who isn't.

I said if Goku Grew up in Naruto.
He probably would be weaker.
And if Naruto grew up in the world of Dragonball he would probably be stronger.
Because with some of the feats preformed by Characters who have less you could make arguments that the Humans compare to previous threats just by their durability or power I mean Tien still a unit in Dokkan as late as the Buu Saga so if Naruto could be like that especially since he has the 9 Tails and all these techniques he could become relevant.
I also talked about how the Humans got close if not surpassed Raditz where was all that growth during Original DB?
So it seems obvious that the worlds work different with motivation and power.
A Goku who grows up in Naruto even with UI might not be able to beat Isshiki while the Goku we know would body him in Base.

@@XQvator Just like how Vegeta dies from Final Explosion or similar things he would have a like Baryon Power up and be beating up Isshiki before having that TOP like thing but instead of falling out of the form he retains it and is fighting essentially on his Life-span thus making the battle kind of similar 2 warriors fighting with the winner trying to stay alive and both of them having time limits although UI here might not have the Baryon effect they surely would probably beat their ass hella hard with them dodges.

Same. I don't know which I like more though. On one side Naruto had a really good storyline full of life lessons and motivation and on the other Dragon Ball is awesome cause of all the times the Z fighters have to become way stronger than ever before everytime.

These multi-franchise what ifs always break my mind.
Amagi used a lot asspulls in this what if though. One being Naruto knowing the Hiraishin and Reaper Death Seal, two he can also use Baryon mode more than once without it somehow killing him and Kurama, third Boruto still has the Karma seal despite the fact no otsutsuki including Momoshiki (technically he does here somehow but it’s never explained how he put a Karma seal on Boruto when they haven’t even fought him) exists in this what if. Also the dragon balls on Cerealia always had a catch or a cats paw when using them, like Granola wished to be the strongest mortal in the universe and Toronbo told him he can bring him into state by shortening in lifespan by at least 50 years with only 2 years left to do what he wanted with that power. I also don’t believe Beerus would have done anything about Moro because he didn’t do anything about him in canon even when earth was threatened.
How did Frieza know about the dragon balls he shouldn't have found out about them cuz no one would have mentioned them considering Naruto could curse up everyone in the beginning area well whatever
The only issue i have here is Freiza gaining immortality. I thought he only learned of Namek because of Vegeta going to earth to fetch the Dragon Balls?

I don't think any Naruto character could beat Goku unless speed is equal and Goku stays in base. But that just won't be the case Goku not only outspeeds every Naruto character but also outpowers all of them and that all in base. I'd also like to note here Goku wasn't dumb in DBZ. And in DBZ DBGT DB and DBS Goku is still a fighting genius having trained under Korin Roshi Whis Kami King Kai Pybara. Goku's insta transmission already allows for him to be a billion times harder to hit. Not to mention that they already could run at light speed during the Raditz saga and by now they having gotten a quadrillion times faster. Plus the strongest Naruto characters in PL are mostly in the thousands. With Goku already having multiversal power in base. As SSJ3 buu saga Goku could destroy the kai's planet which was as big as the universe and since the universe is 99% empty something the kai's planet is not we have to do 99x the universe which is what Goku could already destroy back then by now Goku in base has far outpowered SSJ3 buu saga Goku. Meaning in base he could destroy 99 universes. And not just that but most of the techniques in Naruto require the opponent to have chakura too Goku doesn't have that. And the techniques that don't could easly be broken out of destroyed by base Goku. Lets just say Naruto characters at their best are planet level and use a technique on Goku to trap him we already saw that you can break free from attacks like this in DB by simply expanding your aura or well just trying to break free and if you are stuck in an opponents attack and stronger than your opponent you can easly break free which was also shown. In short term no Naruto technique will work on Goku if they try to trap him he expands his aura destroying the technique trapping him mind control won't work it requires the opponent to have chakura Goku doesn't have that. No technique will land on Goku bc he is leagues but really leagues above light speed and at some points was shown to have infinite speed. And one punch from base Goku could already kill 99.99% of all Naruto characters just shown by power. So yeah Goku can solo the Naruto verse in base unless you outta nowhere give Naruto characters the same speed as Goku and the same strenght. But if we use already established stuff that is canon Goku could speedblitz every character in Naruto.

The issue is in DBZ Ki is everything and can even negate hax, magic and technique using time manipulation like Hit Time Prison, they can brute force their way through time so I doubt Itachi Genjutsu would affect Goku at all, unless both are balance to be nearly equal in power, speed being equalized wouldn't change nothing if they cannot hurt Goku or anybody else in DBZ for that matter, unless Chakra is modify to act like Ki or you nerf Ki.

Well I mean...
-I would see fugaku still surviving the 9 tails attack, since minato would still have to accompany kushina and would still seal kurama, thus no uchiha massacre.
-No uchiha massacre obviously means sasuke would be a little weaker and nicer, naruto probably getting better assistance from fugaku than hiruzen, and probably seen more as a hero.
-The land of waves arc might change though, as potentially instead of sasuke's sharingan awakening earlier, he wouldn't have time to take the senbon aimed for naruto, where he would awaken his, potentially 2 tomoe sharingan, where some plot armor happens and naruto wakes up before sasuke is defeated, thus using his 1 tail cloak
-Everything up to the chunin exams would be as normal, with orochimaru not attacking in the forest since he would have enough sharingan, though Fugaku would probably take action earlier than that and would most likely overpower orochimaru since fugaku has been said to be one of the deadliest mangekyou users, and I doubt orochimaru has a mangekyou, maybe a 2 tomoe at most, therefore no konoha crush.
-Naruto still goes with jiraiya, and sasuke might train with fugaku, but most likely itachi
-The Gaara incident still happens
-Sasuke isn't branded with the cursed seal, nor is he taken by the sound four, no sasuke recovery arc
-Orochimaru is either dead or imprisoned, thus Tsunade is alive, though she isn't needed since Fugaku and Hiruzen are alive.
-Literally everything else after this doesn't happen until Shippuden
-Gaara is killed, and "Ones own life reincarnation" is still used
-Kanabi bridge takes place and all that, with Sasuke still being on team 7 and Yamato replaces kakashi, basically sasuke replaces sai in all plot points
-Everything that happens untll the pain arc goes as normal, though I do assume that Fugaku dies at some point and Naruto and Sasuke team up against the paths of Pain, particularly the diva path, and Sasuke would most likely awaken his mangekyou at this point, and naruto would locate Nagato and talk no jutsu him to revive everyone, including Fugaku, thus Tsunade nor Hiruzen (who might be too old and potentially have died during the time skip) would be needed to replace hokage
-Itachi dies of his illness, and (if shisui is dead) passes on shisui's sharingan to sasuke.
-Danzo probably already dead, but Obito still declares war
-Everything goes as normal until Madara is summoned, in which the five kage most likely die, since tsunade hasn't taught sakura, nor is there any knowledge of her whereabouts, thus there is nobody to heal all of the kage, though when it was said there were few deadlier than madara, I would assume fugaku would be close to that, so he would potentially put up a decent fight for a bit.
-sasuke potentially having the EMS, maybe requested by fugaku personally in order to carry out itachi's will
-With orochimaru dead/imprisoned, the previous kage aren't reincarnated, thus most of the shinobi forces are decimated, and with naruto having no way to get kurama at all (since no minato), naruto dies, however sasuke might still get 1 eyed rinnegan from hagoromo, unless of course naruto gets some plot armor and manages to be revived due to hagoromo personally doing it by some miracle and getting spsm. Therefore, what would most likely happen is:
1. Madara still gets his other rinnegan back, casting infinite tsukuyomi.
2. kaguya still appears, but most likely still gets sealed
3. Naruto and Sasuke release the genjutsu almost immediately after sealing kaguya.
4. Kakashi is probably elected as hokage at this point due to Fugaku dying.
I would assume it would be temporary hokage as naruto eventually becomes hokage, and as for the boruto series, it would probably end at around the momoshiki arc, or, if they are lucky, the isshiki arc. Since Naruto wouldn't have kurama anymore, he wouldn't be able to use baryon mode, thus him and sasuke probably die, isshiki reincarnates into kawaki's karma, and boruto might die at this point.
Though, by some miracle, if hagoromo temporarily revives minato to give naruto the other half of kurama, the series might just get past the isshiki arc, and baryon mode might still exist, but would last half as long.
I only really covered major plot points here, and maybe some things would be different, but this is just my take on it.
Frieza would not be immortal in this scenario either... the reason he was on namek was because he learned about the namekian dragon balls at the same time the saiyans did. Therefore if they're never discussed because nobody died frieza wouldn't know about them either.
I tend to hate comparing dragonball characters to other anime, because its just not fun anymore due to how vague and abstract their powers can be after Z and fans of the series tend to only care about destructive power, exaggerated speculation, and not accept that other things outside of brute force can affect DB characters. Its just rarely in DB. Like say Buu's Chocolate beam, or Babidi. Sure DB characters can likely break out of a lot of reality warping techiques but that can be relative. It just feels more presumptious than actually comparing objective ability.
Tsukuaomi can't kill Goku because he doesn't have chakra
