Just found out about Sleep Token being doxxed. This was filmed about a week ago before everything went down. Who thinks it's a good idea to leak addresses and birth certificates? Besides being extremely illegal, that's a dick move. Don't do that shit.
Exactly. Many of their “fans” are borderline stalkers. There are even Facebook “info-swap” groups, where they exchange the member’s personal information. It’s getting out of hand
I get it's fun to try to unravel a mystery, but Sleep Token have intentionally put so much emphasis on anonymity a key part of their creative work. As a "fan", why would you both ruin the art and commit a gross violation of privacy? Disgusting and ridiculous.

I've been playing guitar for 30 years and I just got my first baritone. It's a cheap Harley Benton but holy shit do I love it. I'm also a bassist so it really hits the sweet spot in between. Plus you can always just go capo 5 if you want to play in standard E.

I play a 27'' BB600 with 9 gauge strings at standard D Love it... now regular guitars feel weird.
kinda takes the fun out of down tuning a guitar imo. solos sound weird on them unless you’re playing blues
Its not really a baritone, it's a Bass Vi with humbuckers. D'addarrio bass vi strings , tuned E A D G B E(down a octave from a standard scale guitar tuning). The 8 string is in drop E. E A E A D G B E

They're super uncomfortable and not ergonomic at all. I have a 30" 7 so I imagine an 8 is only worse.

I love what hoshino is doing, her art and story are amazing and she makes it work for herself, breaking out of the crueling industry.
Only i myself am struggling to keep up with the story since it went quarterly. Actually a third reread should be in order to fully comprehend what is going on but i simply cannot find the time and then in a year with the release of a new chapter i would have the need to reread it again most likely.
But I should not complain since i can be grateful that i will probably see how the manga finishes.
Actually hearing that more lore pieces got revealed in the last chapter, especially hearing about bookman (saw the short lavi appearance on twitter haha), made me very curious and i binged the 4 chapters I had put off for some time.

I still LOVE my Jackson Dinky. Bought it used for like $50, cleaned it up, installed Synister Gates pickups, intonated to Eb, cobalt strings.... They're made for metal.

Really hope we get a production model of that Jackson. Single cut 8 strings are near impossible to come by. With Jackson being, in my opinion, the best company to buy from for out of the box metal guitars I think it’s safe to say this would possibly be the perfect 8 string. At least knowing that they’d probably charge under $2,000 usd for it.

Sleep Token is the best band in the world right now IMHO
I hope this encourages Jackson or some other company to do an 8 string version of a single cut/les paul style guitar. So far (as I know of) only ESP makes a cheaper les paul shaped 8 string. I've been wanting a higher end one forever.

Nachdem ich jetzt alle Runden gesehen habe, kann ich mit vollem Bewusstsein sagen, die besten Runden waren mit Abstand die mit Domtendo. Er hat nochmal irgendwie ein bisschen mehr emotionalen Schwung in die Runden gebracht (sorry Shimtex und Dävid), der bei allen anderen Beteiligten mit angekommen ist. Die Runden wirkten einfach lebendiger. Schade das nur die Hälfte von diesem Stream gezeigt wurde.
Die mit Abstand schlimmsten Runden, waren die gegen die Amerikaner und die Franzosen. Diese Runden wirken ziemlich stressig und überhaupt nicht spaßig. Diese Lockerheit der anderen Runden ist überhaupt nicht vorhanden.
Trotzdem nochmal vielen Dank für diesen zusammenschnitt. Ist definitiv ne coole Idee.

They've been doing this for quite some time now, since 2017, while it isn't as long as other bands, they are different with it. It's been 8 years and they have not shown their identity. And the point of their secrecy is to add a personal story to their music for the listener. It's not about that the lead singer is going through or what the story is for him. It's about you, they are just giving you the music so you can explore both the music and yourself in them without a guide.

I hate to be that guy, but I really like how the guitar looks. However, their music mostly just builds momentum to the metal part, and when the metal part comes, it's not heavy. It's just another pop chorus with some electric guitars in the background. The riffs aren't interesting; they are just riffs that a 3-year-old could cook up in Songsterr. I like bands with quite simple riffs, such as System of a Down and Gojira. However, these bands rarely have build-ups, but when they do, they don't disappoint when the metal part comes. to their credit their outfits are great tho I really like the look they are going for.
