He could make his voice anything he wanted at anytime.
Genius
In 2008, Scott sounding like old Scott, this is gold
Wow! I feel like this is one of the last times he really sounded like his old self.
I was thinking the same. Hos whole demeanour changed so much.
@@drdj2626 no doubt. He looked dead inside
Consider this is 16 yrs after Core was released. 16 yrs of hard touring, plus hard drug abuse, and he still sounds fantastic. What a gem. RIP Scott Weiland. An extremely talented, beautiful lyricist (imo), and one of the most dynamic frontmen to ever grace us with their presence. 🤘🏼
The camaraderie is very apparent. The loss Erik, Dean, and Robert must have felt. Scott Weiland will be an inspiration for generations. RIP
Chicago 2010 was pretty perfect...
@@smwrbd His voice was more strained that time around compared to here. I agree with you though, that 2010 concert was a phenomenal job by everyone!
I wouldn't say STP did a lot of hard touring. Even when they had massive albums; Purple, Tiny Music, and No 4, they hardly toured at all because of Weiland's drug use. They toured the Purple album, generally thought their best, for only 2 months.
What a gem. Really making me sad today. 😢❤. This band should still be making us music today with Scott as the front man.
For 2008, this sounds really good. Scott hadn't developed that overused vibrato just yet. He sounds like his old self.
Yes! That vibrato thing was sooooooo bad. Can’t listen to it. BUT 93-01 is prime stp.
nate pencils agreed, but i would throw 2002 in there as well.
honestly it was that vibrato that I believe ruined his voice in 2015. That is just not how a human being should sing for long periods of time
i actually like that vibrato.
@@metallifan84 1994 voice was my favourite, a good blend of a rich bassy voice and that midrange raspy voice, especially on songs like Still Remains.
Reunion Show! Great!
This truly is a golden Gem. I love and miss Scott Weiland so much. 😢
This man knew how to play the part of a Rock God and he had the talent, style and the good looks to back it up. So Amazing. No one compares. 🖤🩸🖤🩸
Awesome, a shame it was not properly filmed and recorded. Love STP, RIP Scott.
Amazing talent, gorgeous, so missed
To much trippin' and my soul's worn thin" Scott Weiland will you forever remain in my heart- the best frontman ever! I love you RIP!
The Greatest Rocker of All time
He sounded amazing in 2010, unbelievable
Watched this on the way to Florida and god damnit I can’t play guitar for a week when I get home I’m shredding on some stp
Scott sounds great and looks good here. So sad the drugs were his demise. One of the best frontman ever!! RIP Scott Weiland!!!
Wow! It’s like I’m there, only in my heart and mind. Scott Weiland forever 😍
God I miss this band
They actually played 3 hometown shows in 2008, the other 2 coming after this one: Hollywood Bowl in June (with Frank Black as support), and a New Year’s Eve show at Club Nokia where Dean said 2009 was gonna be a great year for STP.
Thank you for this dusky jewel!
I miss Scott Weiland. Rest in peace. 🙏🙏🙏
Love Scott. He was amazing. R.I.P. Scott Weiland.
This is how Scott should’ve stayed, how I wish he stayed.
This show in 2008 was after he was fired from velvet revolver 😮
What a night

Gotta love it
After 1996 his voice never changed until 2008. Crazy how excessive vibrato can really affect your voice. Sad he died so early, drugs are a kick in the nuts quite honestly.
Ryan Stroup oh but how great they are there for a while!
@@DT24K they're really good, I like the new singer!
Ryan Stroup I was referring to the drugs.
What is this vibrato everyone talks about? Yes i do not know any technical music terms.i saw them in late 08 here in New Orleans at Voodoo Fest. He sounded the same. A little more melodic like in his acoustic version of songs he did at radio stations
@@brandtsavoy6123 DID YOU FIGURE IT OUT ? WHAT THEY TALKING ABOUT IT
When did he have this chipped or broken tooth?? I’ve never seen that before! He must have gotten that fixed pretty quickly.
All i know is that he chipped his tooth when he fell on his face during a drugs binge ...
I know he got jumped in England trying to score. Had a tooth knocked out. He had a snap in deal for the missing tooth. As the other stranger mentioned the chipped tooth is likely from falling.
Anytime a friendship with God! TKS
Beautifully, but sadly; this is one of the seldom instances within his latter years that Scott gave a damn about what he was doing.
Sad his shoes cant be filled
