That performance was flawless and I could hear his passion and he gave his all to that song. It deserves nothing but praise. It is so unfair to receive such negative commentaries. AGT should look into talents not to gimmicks, and Marcelito is a world class talent. He doesn't relies to those gimmicks or tricks but just deliver a perfect and world class performance.

I agree with what you have said against Simmon comments. Marcelito has his own branding and style of singing. The essential part of that is he sung perfectly the song. Above on that, his Dual Voices is very seldom to every person and he did it very consistently since he joined AGT. I hope people in the world will be a vote wisely and not for being racist. He used three voices female, male and his natural voice in this song. Is their a song that's upbeat in two voices like Despacito? but that's only one voice! Marcelito, in his personal video that he deleted but I watched already, he said that because of Simon's comment last time, the production team will think which is the one best song for him in the finals, and they have a hard time to pick the song for him with "Simon's" approval. That is why many Filipinos are dissappointed because Simon's comment were ironic on what is happening on AGT. We must respect and value other people or every person's right! We must know, protect and promote HUMAN RIGHTS! In a contest like A G T Champions, Simon or nobody or no one has the right to violate, oppressed, or deprived the FREEDOM of every or any person to CHOOSE the type of Song or style or genre that a Singer contestants want to Sing to win in a contest like AGT. Marcelito and other Singer contestants has the right or must Has a FREE WILL and FREEDOM to choose aand sing a Song that he or wants and love to sing as a Final Song for AGT. It's absurd and disrespect to dictate a Singer contestants to sing a song that is against his or her TALENT, SKiLLS and against his or her WILL! Per MP's vlog, he said that Simon picked the song so why is Simon saying this? Plus, if you look at the close up scene with Simon and compare it between the Semi and Final, it has the EXACT same audience to his left shoulder. This can only happen if all this was filmed on the same day, semi and final. How can that be? There is something very fishy.

Simon was edited in the third show from the second show. It seem that was a disagreement between the judges and Simon, so they edited the show.
Marcelito uploaded a video prior to this in case you guys missed it. It was uploaded in his channel saying that it was SIMON or his music team for that matter that chose the song for him. so Simon saying "less predictable" is a contrast to what Marcelito claimed so I say BS.!
These are the rumors so far.
1. Marcelito was 4th place and V. Unbeatable are the champions
2. These performance was a redo and was not his original performance made in October 2019 that is why they fly him again to film this exact performance to air.
3. The production was too simple for a grand final act. (no orchestra etc, the prayer performance even have violinist) this could have had orchestra or some ballet dance etc.

I agree with what you have said against Simmon comments. Marcelito has his own branding and style of singing. The essential part of that is he sung perfectly the song. Above on that, his Dual Voices is very seldom to every person and he did it very consistently since he joined AGT. I hope people in the world will be a vote wisely and not for being racist. my thoughts.. ok, Marcelito did a good job, and so are the others. They are all great actually, and there's nothing to prove since they are all champions. Hi Yani and Fabio, I am a huge Marcelito Fan, and I just want to clarify that the rumors are not actually "rumors" that is a FACT. Marcelito, in his personal video that he deleted but I watched already, he said that because of Simon's comment last time, the production team will think which is the one best song for him in the finals, and they have a hard time to pick the song for him with "Simon's" approval. That is why many Filipinos are dissappointed because Simon's comment were ironic on what is happening on AGT. I know that Marcelito will pick a song that he know that he could win the competition but unfortunately he has no freedom to choose the song that time 😔😔😔

Both of you is right and I agree with Fabio with regards to the suggestion of Yani to showcase a double face performance, that's not acceptable in the West only in the Philippines we can appreciate that. With regards to a finals winning song, again I agree with Fabio a DIMAS like of performance and Marcelito can do it but nobody in his team think about it probably but it's a very late proposition it should been discussed at the early part of the competition.
