No problem of course! So my program was eligible through the Virginia Workforce Program which offers financial assistance for noncredit training that leads to industry credentials. I am not sure where you are located, but I’d recommend looking into any programs that may offer something similar, like your local community college.
I also believe that in some states, if you have worked as an uncertified medical assistant for at least one year, that qualifies you for the exam. And then most jobs reimburse you if you pass the exam.
Hello everyone, Thank you for sharing. MA in my experience has been mostly front desk claims processing and lots of time on phone with insurance reps, reception/ csr. The clinical I experienced was light clinical in just vitals, charting, EKGs, and phlebotomy drawing then setting up for lab to pick up. I was never responsible for injections/ vaccines. It’s a field where you have to be focus and don’t take anything personal. You will know when it’s time to move on and out of the facility. Good Luck
