Cuba - oil, cobalt, nickel, iron ore, copper, manganese and convenient transit location. Venezuela oil (a lot of oil), natural gas, iron ore, gold, bauxite, other minerals, hydropower, and diamonds. Russia and China are not poor by any means. Russia is successfully fighting entire NATO in Ukraine. As soon as they get around US dollar things will get much better for all.
