I work in that business and can tell you firsthand it's a hectic job, and despite that fact, there are people that care about the freight that passes through their hands, yes there are people who could care less and are not all that careful. But 💩 happens even when people are doing their best to avoid damage occurring to the customers freight, we had a customer shipping automotive body parts by the truck load and they were loaded by hand and some of those boxes were shipped with damaged parts from the warehouse of origin!! So that's not even the trucking company workers causing damage. Just hope they took care of the claim for you with no problem!
