What a great addition to make our V-Carve inlays easier. I have done it manually before and feel this will be used a lot.
Agreed! I love all the new changes they have made and I am excited to see what they come up with next.
How do you fix insufficient glue gap it is not very well explained in vectrics tutorial
You can set that in when you are setting up the toolpath. adjust the glue gap depth. That can be set independently of the surface gap. In the video I made them the same but that is just because of my personal preference.
I have heard own the new update you can no longer use tapered ball nose instead of bit...is this true?
I tried using a tapered ball nose in a V Carve inlay toolpath for a really steep carve for finer detail but it wouldn't accept it . . . but it can work with a toolpath like pocket.
@@SouthernOregonCoast Did it used to work for inlay in 11.5?
@@huddleshuddles7360 Never tried it with 11.5. I only used V-Bits in the past.
@@huddleshuddles7360 didn't try it there. The Tapered Ball Nose only comes up in a few toolpath scenarios
I will do some experimenting and get back to you all with a work around.
