Golly you paid for an Abalone shell? We call them Paua in NZ and you can find them on the beaches. Tiny ones are very cute. A lot of fashion jewellery is made with the shells.
F&M basket would definitely have been coming home with me. I never see them apart from when you go to boot sales. Somebody in your area is obsessed with shopping at F&M 😂 🤣 😂
Hi Mr Carrington. Thank you for another amazing video. Personally I think you did really well at the car boot sale and if I had to give up anything it would be the wine cover. I love the laundry storage tin, shells and lavender oh and the mugs and think they were all great buys. I wish we had as good a car boot sales where I live in Scotland. Looking forward to your £10 challenge. You always make me smile. Have a lovely day ❤️
I spied some retro yellow flower plates, I would have loved to have looked at them. I hope our carboot in on this Sunday, it’s on a football pitch and Cornwall has had so much rain it was cancelled two weeks ago.
Love the birds and pomegranates mug. I thought you would get the cat one, though. I love the laundry tin as well. There is a tip to know if the socks are your size. You close your fist and wrap around it the socks, from the toes end to the heel end. If both ends meet, it's your size.
Hi Iwan there was some great bits in the car boot I'm always on the look out 4 gardening bits, love the laundry bin that would b so handy, used to love catch phase Roy walker used to do it didn't he ? Have a great weekend lots of love hope the sun is shining 💞💞💞
I guessed the socks, laundry and mug, I don't know how I didn't see the bottle cover though😎 Seeing your board game reminded me of going to the tv studio to watch 3-2-1 Ted Rogers and Dusty Bin being made. 1979/80 I think. Went with two of my RAF pals...come the part where Ted says "and I'll see you after this break..." My pal Maureen declares "What a swiz..." ????? "well" she said "where's the adverts??"🤔😳🥴😂😂
I'm glad you got the Shells - the helmet and the abalone shell. I've collected shells my whole life. They used to be common and cheap but lately have become very expensive here in the US and also hard to find nice ones. You got some beauties there.
I wish I was in London I would love to have been able to buy that red stand for plants for my daughter and the two black iron plant holders for the garden too. How fun to go with u! Thanks for the video Mr Carrington
You did really well. When I come the UK I always pop to one and I have a budget as well due to space in my suitcase. But sadly the one I go to is full of dealers now so it’s no longer fun. My mum said it’s so bad that not many people go now. I love shells but my kids have a bad habit of dropping of dropping and smashing them.
LOL I would remove the Catch Phrase Game and keep the flowers. Really good finds, the shells were lovely. I think I have watched your videos now long enough to spot at Car Boot Sales what you are going to buy ha ha - LOVELY video as always, do keep them coming Mr C - LOVE the wooden pieces you have on the table at the side of you, really nice. x
Hello Mrcarrington. Awesome bargains. Loved the sea shells. I am watching you on my IPad. Keep those vlogs, car boot sales and Videos coming. Have a super week. You are the best.
So browsing before watching the purchases I thought if I were there I would buy… the Laundry Tin ❤ the lavender sprigs 💜 and the William Morris mug 💙 great choices!!! I would definitely lose the bottle cover 😂😂😂 great vlog as always. Love a car boot challenge!!
Still yet to go there again as haven't been since last year 🙈i would have probably bought the vintage looking rag doll to add to our doll collection lol so let me know if u spot anymore porcelain dolls 👍 And I wouldn't have included the price to get in the boot sale with the challenge, id just include the items but great haul, the catch phrase game looks good 👍
You've got some lovely things most of which I guessed correctly. (A new record for me as I've been hit and miss at guessing your buys so far!) My guesses were the socks, the laundry container, the shells and the Catchphrase game. I enjoy watching Catchphrase too. I've watched it since the days Roy Walker presented it. I always guess and shout at the TV when the answer is glaringly obvious but nobody's getting it 😂 The pink bottle cover will be great for a good bottle of wine or fizz as a birthday or Christmas gift
You did well. Hanging a little more. Great find the Dior socks. Laundry tin perfect. Love to see more challenges. Perhaps at a day of charity shops? Garden Center?
I've been after the laundry one for a few years now. Can't seem to find any at my op shops. I go all over Auckland, sigh. The cups is also something I would pick up as well. Good finds.
I’m watching from Florida, US-so surprised to hear it’s almost the end of car boot season!! Went to my first one in London this past September. And your roof garden--omgeee!! How perfect is it??? I would love to have a space like that!! ❤
Hello! In the US, I used to go to a huge 'flea market' and garage sales nearly every weekend. I've lived in the UK almost 30 years and I've never been to a car boot sale. One day.....can I just say I love your voice and love just listening to you ❤️
I’m not into board games so it would be an easy choice for me to decide what to ditch, and, the pink bottle cover seemed so random. There lavender looks realistic and will cheer up any space. I really enjoy your car boot trips.
I would have purchased the large white china?chicken used for storing eggs originally , for my kitchen. I knew you would buy the laundry tin as soon as I saw it. Beautiful helmet conch and abalone shells. Good haul 😊 ❤❤ for pumpkin and mittens ❤️
You did well on your haul my favourite item where the lovely Faux Lavender stems bargain. Can you show us how you style them in vases in a later video. 💕
Oh you blew the budget🙄😂I probably would have haggled more on the socks. The lavender is a great little buy. You could bunch them together - tie stems with raffia and hang upside down from top of your dresser - gives a real Country kitchen look! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Oh my gosh, I so knew that the mugs were William Morris! 🎉🎉 i immediately thought … hmmm looks like William Morris fabrics. 😂 Very nice little haul. I didn’t get any right. Thought you would get the mug with the kitties 🐈⬛ but you didn’t get that one. So difficult to keep to a budget because car boot sales are like treasure hunting 😊.
Hey Mr Carrington, you did exceptionally well at the Car Boot sale. The overspend of £2, is not top bad. The laundry Tin and the lavender stems were my favs. x
Mr C. Fun challenge. I think the socks were a bargain and the mug. I am afraid I would have to ditch the pink bottle bag! The lavender looks such a nice quality. X
Love the shells - they would be so expensive in a dept store or a boujee boutique shop. You did so well - some grt items. You cannot ditch Stephen Mulhern - we love the Mulhern - always makes us laugh when he is on tv.
The laundry tin and scoop is my favorite, for the price. I like everything you bought, but if I had to leave anything it would be the pink sequin bottle cover and the game. 😅 One game I do enjoy with the right people is Pictionary. 😂 You shouldn't add your entrance fee into the budget.😅 I think you did very well with 20 odd pounds. The laundry tin new would have set you back. The big shell is stunning. Good find Mr C. 🎉🎉
My favourite was the laundry tin, also liked the Lavender. I spotted the game and thought that would be fun but was surprised you bought it! Really don't know if I would have paid the money for the shells but they are lovely. Socks and mug are very you! I think all in all you got some really good prices x
Good stuff you pick up I like the shell and laundry tin brilliant yes I went to Liverpool one it was sunny and it was quite a lot of people. I’ve got a few bits. I’ve got a Hoodie stranger things some boots for my comic on it was good. Won’t be going over awhile cause I’ve got work over the weekend now, going to thank you for sharing. 😊🐈🐾🐾🐾
Lavender and tin my best choice, plus you should not include the entry fee in it next time, thank you for taking us along with you,I really do love watching your vlogs x😊
I think you did well Iwan, and another 20 pound challenge is in order. Only this time don't bring any extra money! I knew that Laundry tin was yours when I saw it, and I thought the cat mug...
You didn't buy the Lidl trainers???? I guessed a couple of items you would buy, the laundry tin, the shells both a good barg. I love the CD socks, and if pushed I would ditch the game rather than the lavendar plants, although the game could be fun. Thanks for this weeks vlog, it was a lot of fun playing the guessing game of keeping it to just £20. Myself I'd take £50 and see how much I didn't spend, how about that for a game?
So many vintage and quirky things, the Heineken tray and Dachshund picture among many more items would have been coming home with me. You got some good things, mug was my favourite, bottle holder may have had to stay at the bootfair👍🏻😀
The mug fruit looked like pomegranate. Fun finds. I thought you would have bought that beautiful cream cat mug.. it was lovely. It looked almost hand made.
I was glad to see you picked up the Dior socks, I really liked those! Another challenge idea is to set your amount, say $20 with the difference to be donated to a charity. As far as what I would have put back--neither of the items you suggested, it would have been the laundry tin for me. Love seeing what you get.
Your haul was impressive I bought some kitchenware (your laundry tin) very similar from Matalan. Loved the mug too. Missed Mittens and Pumpkin love how they peruse what you have bought. ❤❤ Thank you for sharing. 😊❤
Brilliant haul - All so practical and meaningful while very fun, too! Thank you so much for taming us with you and sharing what you bought, Iwan! Love a great car boot and always love your videos🌟♥️🌟
Iwan, you didnt do too badly. Personally, I wouldnt count the entrance fee as part of the spends but that is me. I thought you would buy the laundry bin because it matched your kitchen. I would remove the shells because I think you paid too much for them and could perhaps have asked for his best price then walked away and left them and would have gone back during a second or even third mooch around.
I loved the patterned furry jacket i saw hanging up. You did well. I went to B+M for those cat laser toys, and they had reduced them to 10p...i said "thank you Mr C", and grabbed two, one for each cat, and they especially loved the ball included. I have a smaller version of the laundry tin, but yours seems it could be older. 😻🐱🖊
In my area it’s free to enter or a donation. They like it to be 20p as donation and most people stick in 50p or more. Kids is free and older people too but most older people also put in a donation.
Lovely stuff. Personally I think £1 entry is fine. There are always great things where you go. I wish I had somewhere like this in the south west! I’d happily pay ! ☺️
Mr C I knew you'd get a william morris mug, the socks, lavender and laundry tin. I'd have got the F&M hamper too x you cd put your Kylie rose in the sequin wine cover❤
Hi Mr Carrington, please can you let me know which boot-sale that is? I’m visiting London in July and hoping to go there as it always seems a good one. Thanks. Xx
The white jumper with all the colours going true it you touched it and let your fingers slide down the arm of it!!! Oh and I picked the socks too! They are very you in stile!!!
Golly you paid for an Abalone shell? We call them Paua in NZ and you can find them on the beaches. Tiny ones are very cute. A lot of fashion jewellery is made with the shells.
The Dickens and Jones box! I worked there 30 years ago! Loved those crystal door knobs...so much good stuff 😮
I love the little tune which you use when you’re looking at things in the boot sale etc. ❤️
You can’t harvest abalone shells anymore they are protected now. Good fine.
Liked the Detergent tin. I found the same at Target (US) for $27.00 or 21 pounds. So 3pounds is a great deal.
F&M basket would definitely have been coming home with me. I never see them apart from when you go to boot sales. Somebody in your area is obsessed with shopping at F&M 😂 🤣 😂
was hoping that you had picked up those shells..lovely.. and its also your blood swooshin that makes the wave sounds lol ... what a great Car boot!
Hi Mr Carrington. Thank you for another amazing video. Personally I think you did really well at the car boot sale and if I had to give up anything it would be the wine cover. That Kitchenaid is always there! Why does no one buy it? Is it broken? I wonder how much it is? William Morris mugs are gorgeous!
Great finds mr Carrington xx loved the shells and the laundry tin x
Hi Iwan there was some great bits in the car boot I'm always on the look out 4 gardening bits, love the laundry bin that would b so handy, used to love catch phase Roy walker used to do it didn't he ? Have a great weekend lots of love hope the sun is shining 💞💞💞

I'm a sucker for those large sea shells--they're gorgeous and at a great price--and the flowers look very authentic with that lovely deep color.
I'm glad you got the Shells - the helmet and the abalone shell. I've collected shells my whole life. They used to be common and cheap but lately have become very expensive here in the US and also hard to find nice ones. You got some beauties there.

I had that bottle cover over a bottle of body wash. Think it was Bayliss and Harding.
The William morris mug fruits could be Quinces... As it has that medieval look about it from a tapestry.
