After last episode's incredible flashback, I had to dive back into the mysterious time period that is 1000 years ago! In this overview, we'll look at everything we know so far about the conflict between the Gotei 13 and Yhwach's Lichtreich, from the origins of the Sternritter, to that showdown in Seireitei! What else would you like to see revealed from this time period? How did Yhwach survive Yamamoto's final attack? Let me know your thoughts!
Don't forget Yamamoto and Unohana were the only ones who survived. While I don't consider the original Gotei 13 weak they fell like the Quincies at this time
Just like how Barragan's castle is roofless to signify his dominance over the entire Hueco Mundo realm, the Royal Palace too is roofless to signify Ichibe's hand over Soul Society's sky.
Barragan should have lived and sealed away by Hachi's Kido. The King of Huecco Mundo's interaction with Yhwach and Aizen would have been very interesting considering Yhwach feared Death (Which Barragan embodies with his Respira ability.) Same thing with Starrk. If Harribel survived there is no excuse why Starrk shouldn't. He would have been a great help to Shunsui.
@@Swagkia_Kuchiki harribel survived because she was irrelevant to the plot and because she was an irrelevant character overall . she's so irrelevant we don't even know her current status . she lived because killing her would just be a waste of time . this is unlike both starrk and barragan who both had some plot significance and some characterization
@@SkeetWeet4368aizen didn't even tried to kill her , if really wanted he could but she couldn't stay down but anyways orihime healed her after her tres beastia asked for help
I just love that Bleach's lore is keeping us at the edge of our seats even years after the manga finished. Burn the witch, the original Gotei 13 and historical anime flashbacks is filling in the phenomenal story.
There's 2 parts from the past I'm really hoping they cover 1. The after math of yhwach's defeat. Mayuri said yamamoto failed to kill yhwach during the first war. Did yhwach escape or did yama spare him? 2. In chapter 63, old man zangetsu was trying to tell ichigo his name is yhwach but it was blacked out. If this is ichibei's doing, I hope they animate or expand on it
The mouth flaps don't fit "Zangetsu". Intended or not, I'd be over the moon if they made it more explicit. (Same with clarifying that OMZ used Blut Vene to close Ichigo's wounds and that Ichigo's travel to his inner world was meant to look like the Quincy Shadow ability: it was easy to miss in the manga and the anime kinda glossed over it too.)
@@ThermiteKitty I just started reading through the "Can't Fear Your Own World" novels, and the third volume confirmed Blut Vein was being used during Ichigo's fight against Kenpachi.
@@ThermiteKittyYou know I never thought about it, but Old Man Zangetsu usually manifested outwardly through shadows, and any time White came out, or was taken back in, it was through the shadow of OMZ's jacket.
*12:57** Horse-sama!* I can't wait to see how majestic Horse-sama will look in the Cour 3 anime. Other than that, we need more context/lore of Yhwach during the 1000 year war against Soul Society and the other area's he conquered. More Sternritter and Quincy backstory.
I adore how outright evil they're making Ichibe out to be. He was always sketchy, but the anime is making the leader of the "good guys" appear to be just as much of a villain as Yhwach
He ain't good but he ain't that bad *for most* at least for those who are needed to be sacrificed for the balance of the world tho ... yeah those unlucky few are screwed
@@Force-Multiplier problem is, its not just "an unlucky few" though, hes sacrificing a large amount of innocent people and sometimes its not neccessary
That first Scene was epic. I hope we get more flashbacks. It makes me wonder if the reason ISshida survived is because his family line didnt join the Quincy Empire.
Makes sense, also why his dad didn't die, and why they call themselves the last of the quencies. The last of the quincies to join Ywach. I hope they expand on that relationship alot
Pretty sure they said that being pure Quincies Ishida's Grandpa and dad were spared but his mom (and Ichigo's too) being tainted by Hollows were no longer pure.
@@Jamesvh122 not really iirc, i always asumed ywhbach wanted him nearby to keep an eye on him, after all, that shrift from uryu was literal counter to the almighty.
14:03 I always assumed that the Schrifts were bestowed after the defeat 1000 years ago. In their millennium of hiding, the Quincies developed a lot. Getting the Bankai Stealing Medallions, creating / learning Vollständig etc. It makes sense to me that in this timeframe Yhwach mastered his "power sharing" and this resulted in the Schrifts. Having upgraded on so many levels is what made the Quincies so confident they could win the battle against the Gotei 13.
My theory is that the other Quincies that could share power were more prevalent before Yhwach's rise. Though he claims to be 200 years old, I'd say his existence was around longer. I believe they started counting his 'age' when he had absorbed enough power to become a whole being. So, say that it took a few hundred more years for Yhwach to gain enough power to truly form, it goes in line with the origin of the Quincy. So, Yhwach is born from the Soul King as an empty husk. He becomes the 'miracle baby' that grants power to everybody around him, essentially infecting the bloodlines with Quincy blood. As they reproduce and carry the lines onward, the Quincy kingdoms form under the new powerful individuals. Some of these people gain a mutation that allows them to do a pseudo-form of Yhwach's power gifting and aren't necessarily killed right away. However, it becomes known that those granted power by Yhwach die off quicker than normal, causing fear among the Quincies. They kill off all the Quincies with the power sharing ability but can't kill Yhwach because he's gotten enough power to become his 'true self'. This lines up with the 'few hundred' that Bazz B mentioned, as it would put about 200 years before that, lining up with Yhwach's 'birth'.
Yep, yhwach is "200 years old" for this body. We know from hashwalth's words, that yhwach reverts back into a child if the circulation of souls is stopped. Which means yhwach has at least gone through such a process couple of times. And in the meeting where yhwach takes hashwalth under his wing, yhwach said that he has learnt a technique that allows him to "take" what he has "given" (talking about creating the "auswahalen" technique to circulate the flow of souls manually). Which is probably why yhwach had lived over 200 years in the friend mini-saga. (Yhwach is probably as old as the 3 world's, being born around the same time as the split of the primordial world)
It really feels like they are painting the Lichtreich as their fantasy equivalent of the Holy Roman Empire. The HRE officially started in 800 AD and reached it's most recognized and largest territory around 1000 AD. Which was, roughly 1000 years before the time when Bleach was being written. It also makes sense that during those times people would be more knowledgeable about the spirit world and afterlife, as this time in our own world Europe was staunchly Catholic and and in addition to Religion, superstition and myth were treated as facts (vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, etc) and this seems to just be the Bleach universe equivalent, when the spirits and gods lived among mortals. Also, we know that not all Quincy were powerful enough to serve in the Soldat, or were too old or young, so there was likely a sizable population of Quincy left after the failed invasion. I wonder if, since we know that Yhwach gains power and sustains his life force by absorbing the souls of Quincy that die, the Soul Society decided to wipe out all Quincy to try to stop Yhwach from regaining power eventually. Sure, some life would return to him from the massive number of Quincy that die now, but in the long run, without a stable and growing population of Quincy in the long run, there would not be enough souls returning to him for him to eventually awaken. If so, and we know there are not enough Quincy left in the living world, was the Wandenreich intentionally breeding Quincy souls so that the strongest would rise up and become a new generation of Sternritter while the weak were fed to Yhwach to support his eventual revival?
That's a very interesting line of thought. And I can only imagine how stressful it would be to be a quincy around the time of ywachs defeat. Like you're likely either gonna be killed by the opposition or by your king who needs to recover his power. Not to mention the pressure to "breed" so you can extend the quincy bloodline. I dont think i would even be able to get my quincy meat to get hard to even have relations under those dyer circumstances 😂😂😂
I think Yamamoto indeed killed Yhwach one thousand years ago. It's just that because he has spread hid souls around he could be revived again over time. Basically like Voldemort but with thousands of horcruxes.
This is fairly plausible and make more sense. We just can hope Kubo may elaborate more the lore of Bleach universe in Hell Arc or other future light novels.
@@umarabdaziz Cause that's what Kubo wrote. Like i said, you're resorting to head canon. Its obvious that yama didnt kill yhwach cause hes alive, duh. So its clear that yama failed to him. Did he spare him, did he escape? Those are the real questions. End of story.
@@Young_Ruckus Kubo also wrote so that Gremmy said if he die the meteor won't disappear. But we know that's not true because the stage that he created crumbled when Gremmy is killed. What character said is just what they assume it to be. It's not a fact in the canon sense.
Ywach 1000 years ago: Care for his people, but failed in the conquest of Soul society. In the process he learnt from the OG Gotei that one cannot win a war without being ruthless af. 1000 years later he basically came back with the OG Gotei attitutude and sweep the floor, ironically Yamamoto lost precisely because he had grown soft because he starts caring.
Well the thing is going by the Quincy song. It is very likely that Yamamoto did indeed killed Yhwach. But the Quincy were able to revive him through a ritual that likely took 999 years to complete and probably involved the collecting of countless of Quincy souls to make it happen. As it took nine hundred years to restore his heartbeat, 90 years to restore his mind and nine years to restore his power. It is also likely that after his supposed death he was freed of Peridia and regain his Almighty but during those nine years before his full power was restored he couldn’t actually control it and thus had to personally keep his eyes closed. Now whenever or not Yhwach planned to get killed by Yamamoto or the whole ritual was contingency plan in case he failed to defeat the gotei 13 is unknown. But either way Ichbei sealing Yhwach’s almighty and Yamamoto defeating him. Only delayed the inevitable.
This makes me want a prequel about the Licht Riech and Yhwach's fight with Ichibē and the original Gotei 13 captains. Or maybe just a prequel about the original Gotei 13. I mean if Cour 3 is essentially that or the second half of Cour 3 and the first half of Cour 4 is that, I would be happy.
@@samfisher6606 I know but I feel like we can explore cojiro and yamamoto relationship a bit better and cojiro kinda comes off as an underdog in the flashback but I fine with either 😆
The anime exclusive content has been doing a much better job at making Ichibei and YWCH feel like the two most powerful beings in the current bleach universe, who happen to be at complete odds imo. The manga did an alright job at conveying the stakes only they could really control, but the new content really nails in the fact that the fate of the worlds could only be determined between these two players ultimately. This could tie to Ichigo’s zanpakuto’s ability, majorly being the defiance of fate-based powers or outcomes.
I was always confused about how Yhwach survived, specifically in relationship to the Kaiser Gesang, does Yhwach revive/"Reawake" after 900 years or was it after he did Auswählen 9 years before the start of the TWYB arc, I've never figured it out. Another thing I was confused about was the Wandenreich during Yhwach imprisonment, was Haschwalth in charge for the majority of the time, did he recruit a majority of the new Sternritters, and were all the Quincies, like the Soldat, from the Lichtreich or were they born all in the Wandenreich, these questions have always confused me the most.
I think Ywach has planned the retreat or back ip plan to the shadows before the war has started. His army was divided during the war. This is why Haschwalt and BazzB wasn't there since they are mostly on the group that is building the Wanderreich in the shadows while Ywach's group raged war. So basically after Ywach got defeated. Hasch Walt and the others took him in the shadows
@@ezra1735 Basically Hashwalt was groomed to be Ywach's right hand man when he got recruited. So of Course if Ywach is gonna divide his army then he will make his 2nd man Lead the other half.
I think the schrifts were a more recent invention, that he didn't have 1000 years ago. once reawakened, i believe he would have granted all these quincy that power. As for how he survived, i'm guessing the SK's left arm kept him alive, but in that sealed state for over 900 years, as he slowly regained his power.
It’s weird that, seemingly, the only record of Ywhach’s empire left in the world of the living is the book in Ryuken Ishida’s library. The Lichtreich conquered most if not all of the world, so you would think that even 1000 years later humanity would remember the mighty empire of archery sorcerers who ruled the world and then completely vanished without warning.
And that record is written by Souken, which is fairly recent. So the comment before that SS erased any trace of Licht Reich seems valid. Also Kubo has said that Souken will have a major role in later cour.
I figure that his survival against Yamamoto is something like what we see him attempt in the final chapters. At the moment of his death, The Almighty reawakens, and he becomes able to overwrite his death.
Bleach is one of the best examples of the new generation fighting/dying for their ancestors’ sins. Seriously, The original Gotei 13 and Squad Zero are the definition of evil, and their actions have led to the deaths of thousands. Then there’s soul reapers in the modern generation who wouldn’t harm anyone or anything unless absolutely necessary.
I 100%percent believe Yamamoto killed Yhwach. People saying Yamamoto failed to kill him is merely them not understanding how he could be alive after a confrontation with the most powerful Soul Reaper. Hearing you piece things together makes me think Yhwach smiling with Yamamoto's killing blow approaching is because he had seen the moment before the Almighty was sealed. Thus smiling because this was the death needed to achieve his goal.
Yhwach was certainly just another generic warlord to human eyes in history, one of those who conquered here and there before apparently dying or disappearing in one of those random conflicts of his campaign. The Quincy empire in the human world is interesting as are other Spirits operating discreetly among humans. Be they Quincy survivors in hiding or Shinigami in exile for running afoul of Gotei 13's laws or even just wanting to stop and lead normal lives
I have a feeling Soul Society's utter destruction of his empire had the effect of nearly wiping him from history, with him maybe being some half-remembered legend in the areas he controlled. I mean, if he took his castle with him, or if Soul Society were super thorough, there wouldn't be much in the way of physical evidence left behind. I mean, Quincies themselves fades from the public record, so why wouldn't their king?
Could be old man Yama did killed him and incinerated him, but he just reformed laters as the Quincy King song goes. Also curious to know if there’s a Human History Book that diverges from our modern history with Ywhach conquest.
I’m pretty sure that they were able to breed in the shadow world and not only that, but somehow were able to slip in and out of the living world to recruit new Quincy
Take a look at the fight in episode 6 between Royd Loyd and Yamamoto. Ywhach second in command and Hubert are the ones that are mentioned when Yamamoto brings back the dead to fight for him. So the flashbacks are occurring prior to the battle 1,000 years ago.
Here we are…minutes away from the first episode to be changed from TV14 to TVMA. I suppose Ichibei is about to cause some serious mayhem in the royal palace.
Really hoping that we get more backstory on souken Ishida, it still boggles my mind that we gotna flashback involving hasshwalth and bazz b but not uryu's grandfather.
Uryu's grandfather is absolutely irrelevant. He was a quincy that was killed by hollows. What more do you need? Bazz and haschwalth got flashbacks cause haschwalth was yhwach's 2nd in command and haschwalth was best friends with bazz. Use your head dude.
14:38 Maybe he gave the first Schrift to Lille Barro because he wasn’t sure a regular, living Quincy could survive the power of his blood, so he tested it by giving a particularly strong dose to Lille, who, according to CFYOW, was Ywhach’s most devout worshiper, so that if the engraving ceremony was successful, Ywhach would gain a massively powerful and massively loyal lieutenant, and if it didn’t work, he wouldn’t lose someone irreplaceable like Haschwalth.
Can't wait for Askin to get his love. Tired of hearing anime only people calling him a discount Aizen 😅. No doubt when he gets his spotlight he'll become a favorite for people. As well as the rest of the royal guard. Lille is my favorite quincy and he looked so good last week. Really eexcited
@@dylankudaibergenov8279 that's not the point though, what you're saying is completely irrelevant. It doesn't matter how long ago the discount aizen thing has been going on for, the point is that when people actually get to see what he's like and how powerful he is, fans who are anime only will appreciate his character a lot more and won't have much of a reason to call him that
I thought the answer was pretty clear, that you need an ability to remove souls from the karmic cycle like ichibei to kill yhwach which yama does not have, or remove his ability
Everyone thinks ichibe is evil but i just think he just has the attitude he knows he needs to defend against the enemy, cant beat ruthless unless you willing to be ruthless also 😏

@10:30 Maybe my interpretation is wrong but I don't think Bazz is saying quincy that can give power used to be commonplace. I feel like he's saying quincy that aren't able to manipulate reishi are rare now and Jugo is the first he's seen or heard of in a long time. To me this is proven when Yuha drops the bomb on Bazz that he's only this strong because he's been spending time with Jugo, and the implication being that he wasn't aware of this. So like Yuha, Jugo is still very rare and probably unique in the world.
Two words, Kisuke Urahara! Something has always been off about him. Has he ever really been confirmed to be a soul reaper? I always wondered why the Quincy King considered him one of the top 5 war threats but no one really went after him in the beginning. His knowledge puts him on par with the Soul King's royal guards to me.
The Licht Reich should have had some sort of historical significance and reference in the world of the living seeing as how Quincy's are humans. It would have been cool if it was mentioned in Karakura Town.
Dude im so hyped for tomorrow's 2 episode especially after reading and seeing the screenshot leaks bc kubo is fucking cooking in the studio. Some major alterations happening.
I loved what we got last chapter but there are so many unanswered questions who fought Lille? he said no one has ever lasted long against The Schutzstaffels who could have at least included Gerard so did he or they fodderized some original Gotei captains? after such a statement they better either have a reason for Lille making such a statement and he should have at least fought some enemies of renown because if what you were killing is that far bellow The Royal Guard then your claim is just some petty bragging
I find it cool and hard for lille and the bros of the royal guard to kill some captains,it would be a good way to explain how some of them died and to hype the royal guard,BUT the moments of 1000 years ago are very confunsing to make a timeline on,and they could have killed the captains after the yhwachs defeat, but how they menage to escape?well it's very unclear, but i hope youre right
i believe the quincy royal guard aswell as yamas own zanka no tachi west killed most of the other Gotei 13 captains, timeline and the flashback are abit wobbly though. I think there's something wrong everyone, even Tommo is getting about Lile Barro! I've just read chapter 646 this exact moment and, in page 14 Lile Barro says he was the LAST quincy to be granted power by his majesty! His quote in the translation is "I am the last quincy his majesty granted power to. His majesty's masterpiece" which makes MUCH MORE SENSE on why he's so close to being a "GOD" as he was given a shcfrit after Yhwach had already honed a lot of his abilities probably and could grant much more power to someone.
Ywach is only "rumored to be 200 years old" at this point but that is more so that maybe Ywach onky started building the Licht empire 200 years prior. Which Ywach finally did something in a scale it will put his name in historybooks or at least be talked about. So he basically was still alive way longer but probably he just chose to live incognito by then. Since hetting flocked by people finding cure ti uncurable illnesses at that time probaby can get tiring after hundreds of years. That is my take on this

Maybe Yamamoto was given orders not to kill the son of the Soul King. And therefore, after defeating him in battle, they placed a kido spell on him that lasted 900 years.
You didn't come around until much later and yet you know Hitler led Nazis and ordered his men to kill millions of Jews. Why would Mayuri, a genius Shinigami would spit BS and leaving Yamamoto speechless? It's either bad writing by the author or you just don't get Mayuri's informative dialogue throughout TYBW. Mayuri did even question "but why is the left hand of SK serving Yhwach?" Meaning he doesn't spit BS
The girl/fourth SS (if that's what the four of them truly were) could be Pernida, but it'd also be interesting if she's an ancestor of the Kurosaki clan. Not sure there's anything pointing to that, just having fun speculating

Questions I have: 1) the hand that was lost in sealing the eyes of YB. Was it lost because the thing it saw with YB made him change sides or was it something else. 2) YB going to fight yamaji was whether to reawake his eyes or the first invasion he was sure to win. 3) childhood of YB, why is he special, is he really "the" son of SK or is it just a way of saying since SK is everyone's Father and he also calls all his followers children(biological v metaphor), Origin of Quincies because we can tell that they existed before YB unless this is his 3rd reincarnation and not second reincarnation. Also how he came to know the truth of the world
The arm was a trap to take his Almighty vision, and his eyes allowed him to see all versions of the future which allows him to manipulate the future , that's why the arm was a trap when he tried to grab it it took his Almighty vision powers 👍🏾👌🏾
At least we got an explanation as for why Yhwach didn't Almightied Yamamoto to death but we have zero context as for why the Left Arm of Reio aka Pernida is preventing Yhwach from using Almighty if anything it should have been Mimihagi since that was the one that had the power to prevent the progress of things Pernida had the power to perpetually evolve ... Mimihagi getting used would have somehow explained this but Pernida having this effect just raises more questions ... i suppose we'll never know but at least we can rule out that Yhwach choose to not use Almighty against Yama wich makes fixes my biggest issue with his defeat
Maybe the almighty sees future through yourself, when he absorbed Reio he could not see the future anymore, because he could not see through reio's hand
@@pedroalbertoestradahernand4665 Probably. When he took the arm he became a vessel for it just like Ukitake was a vessel for the Mimihagi and since he can't see through the Soul King's body parts and he himself was now one, he couldn't activate The Almighty. Also if we take Ukitake's exemple we know that fully unleashing Mimihagi consumed his entire life so maybe the only way to separate yourself from a limb of The Soul King is through death which is why Ichibei was so confident that Yhwach wouldn't get The Almighty back until he died.
The new flashback must be before Haschwalth was promoted to be the captain of the Sternritter because Hubert still wears the red cloak symbolic for that rank
Great video again, MrTommo! This is a minor thing but seeing again the panel where Bazz-B's castle was being burned down made me realize that perhaps that's why his power would later be the fire (The Heat). After all, as we saw with Äs Nödt, schrifts' powers seem to be somewhat related to each person's own personality, trauma or overall theme. Hell, you could say Haschwalth finding out about his true power when he was seemingly lagging behind Bazz was something that unexpectedly "tipped the scales in his favor" (Balance). This makes me wish we would have seen more individual flashbacks for some other quincies, but oh well.
I hope we eventually get an explanation for how the rest of the world works in Bleach/Burn the Witch. Japan is Soul Society East and Reverse London is Soul Society West, so what does the rest of the world do when they die? Did the soul reapers invent death as it exists solely for Japan or did it effect the rest of the world? For that matter, does the “world of the living” only refer to Japan? Before Burn the Witch released, I always assumed hollows were a global thing, but now we know they’re only in Japan and dragons are only in London. Does the rest of the world just not have an afterlife?
I kinda feel like Ichibe’s comment on how YH won’t be able to open his eyes until the day he dies is foreshadowing for the ichigo fight but just a coincidence. I never read the ending of the arc just always watched these videos and they kinda just knew the day all his powers come back , someone was going to be there to kill him . I feel like that full power almighty activating and him fighting ichigo happens within 24hrs maybe
I think yhwach has always been the first quincy, but he spent a long long time in baby form just giving powers to people and recieving them back before he finally morphed into a full-sized being, by when there were already plenty of quincies who recieved powers by touching the baby or being born from someone who touched the baby.
Other possibility is that Ichibei is already known by Yhwach not so much the Gotei 13 because they seemed to surprise Yhwach. The non aggressive pact was totally take the piss to be fair. Ichibei isn’t persa to me see them as a threat just sees them as an inferior kid (calls Yhwach a baby) and more concerned about them damaging the balance
One pupil: The world as it is. Two pupils: Why the world is as it is. Three pupils: How you WISH to shape the future and the means. Four pupils: The most likely outcomes plus outliers. Five pupils: THE FACTS (Ichigo's training).
They explained why Quincy and Shinigami can’t get along: Hollows are permanently dead once killed by Quincy. This upsets the balance of life, death, and rebirth.
If it hurts Yhwach to feel the suffering of souls - why are his Quincies killing off Hollows? Arev the ones wiped out via Quincy power also restored to Yhwach?
Wouldn’t it be cool if they added that humanity lost a ton of development because Ichibei erased Quincy and their Empire from the memories of humans when Yhwach was defeated
Here is a thought. The heart of the soul king is Yha. The soul king is a god. Neither male nor female. If he was with a Woman she would have to be a soul reaper making the big bad a hybrid. Maybe he kills to hide that fact. But I think the big bad was created by taking pieces of the soul king. All of his parts were taken except his heart/soul/inner child. Yhawah is that literal inner child.
I personel have the theory that Yhwach Lichtreich was in Britania, and that the Quincys originaten form the area that later will becom germany, or to by more specific in think that the quincys are somthing like Angel-Sachsen. The years match with real life history, Britania is an island and so "easy" to concer hole. Many Quincy moves are namend in german und and the abilatys of the "second" generation, in other words the Sternenritter are namend in modern english. Like a verbal revolution, like in the real world. Oh and also in burn the witch, at least for me the witches/ wizards dont feel like Shinigamis. Or in better words the feel I get is a mixe of Quincy and Shinigami culturs. this confirms that yamamoto beat yahwah while he had the almighty. ichibe didn’t take the almighty from yahwah he canceled his ability at that point and time. remember when the right hand tried to stop yahwah it didn’t take the almighty from him. it’s more of a counter

😮
Barragan should have lived and sealed away by Hachi's Kido. The King of Huecco Mundo's interaction with Yhwach and Aizen would have been very interesting considering Yhwach feared Death (Which Barragan embodies with his Respira ability.)
Same thing with Starrk. If Harribel survived there is no excuse why Starrk shouldn't. He would have been a great help to Shunsui.

I just love that Bleach's lore is keeping us at the edge of our seats even years after the manga finished. Burn the witch, the original Gotei 13 and historical anime flashbacks is filling in the phenomenal story.
Looks like they might adapt all the cool lore parts of cfyow without the average plot too which is great.
@@SirTatManTat what would be great if they actually adapt CFYOW because it takes place after TYBW
@SirTatManTat average plot ?
There's 2 parts from the past I'm really hoping they cover
I think Kubo confirmed the second one in his Klub out side fan page
@@ThermiteKitty
I just started reading through the "Can't Fear Your Own World" novels, and the third volume confirmed Blut Vein was being used during Ichigo's fight against Kenpachi.

*12:57** Horse-sama!*
I can't wait to see how majestic Horse-sama will look in the Cour 3 anime. Other than that, we need more context/lore of Yhwach during the 1000 year war against Soul Society and the other area's he conquered. More Sternritter and Quincy backstory.
Horse sama vs chair sama will be the final and the most destructive battle in the bleach
I adore how outright evil they're making Ichibe out to be. He was always sketchy, but the anime is making the leader of the "good guys" appear to be just as much of a villain as Yhwach
Coz he is Jesus. Lmao.
Because he IS Evil.

Wasn't his grandpa in the empire? Quilge knew of him
Pretty sure they said that being pure Quincies Ishida's Grandpa and dad were spared but his mom (and Ichigo's too) being tainted by Hollows were no longer pure.

Solid theory.
(Yhwach is probably as old as the 3 world's, being born around the same time as the split of the primordial world)
This could be the case and also reconcile his status as "father" of the Quincy.
You’re doing such great work for this community, keep it up man!
Mayuri literally said yama failed to kill yhwach. Imagine not paying attention to what the author wrote for you & resorting to head canon lol
@@Young_Ruckus And Mayuri knows this how? In SS arc when Mayuri met Uryu he said he thought that all Quincy are dead.
That shot of ywach reveilling the almighty in the flashback where he just looks cross-eyed makes me crack up everytime I see it.
Lol facts. Some angles of the almighty just looks so goofy
The amount of answers given and probably will be from now on is just a gift! I'm so exited to see what kubo and the team is cooking.
If their is a prequel which character would you think best fit to be the main character? Personally I go with cojiro.
@@Cookiekion I think you would have to go with Yamamoto or Unohana so there is that throughline of following a character you already know.

YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE NEWEST EPISODES AND TALK ABOUT THEM!!! I WILL NOT SPOIL BUT THEY ARE LIFE CHANGING
@@Snzn_7 that does makes sense but I'm entirely sure that he wouldn't use Haschwalth and Bazz-B during the war
@@ezra1735 Basically Hashwalt was groomed to be Ywach's right hand man when he got recruited.
So of Course if Ywach is gonna divide his army then he will make his 2nd man Lead the other half.
Last episode was seriously incredible it added so much to ywach in such a short amount of time.
Was so excited for this context.
NEW VIDEO! aaaaand. saved for when I get ready for work tomorrow morning.
As seen with orihime and ichigo's family in the first few episodes, the SS actively erases the memories and assassinates people
And that record is written by Souken, which is fairly recent.
13:37 This scene should be happening after the Ichibei flashback as you can see the new Sternritter emblem on Jugram's cap
Wonderful video! I love your work SO much!
In Bleach universe, Kubo can write and rewrite anything he pleases.

There are also flashbacks of the soul king being dismembered. That is the furthest back that I can think the time line stretches
Lest we forget: Yhwach IS half-soul-king. Reio existed in a world before the world we know. And apparently others did as well.

Two words, Kisuke Urahara! Something has always been off about him. Has he ever really been confirmed to be a soul reaper? I always wondered why the Quincy King considered him one of the top 5 war threats but no one really went after him in the beginning.
I loved what we got last chapter
but there are so many unanswered questions
who fought Lille? he said no one has ever lasted long against The Schutzstaffels who could have at least included Gerard
so did he or they fodderized some original Gotei captains?
after such a statement they better either have a reason for Lille making such a statement
and he should have at least fought some enemies of renown because if what you were killing is that far bellow The Royal Guard then your claim is just some petty bragging
Grammy also states none have ever dared challenged him but calls himself the strongest, maybe he also took out some captains easily hence being so feared by his comrades. the anime changed the bit about him being always locked up for a reason also why the bambis were so surprised with zaraki still giving them a hard time even after fighting an impossible creation that is the Soul Kings brain Gremmy.
maybe he would've made the elite guard ahead of or with askin.
@@afraniomoreiradebritojunio3962 agreed maybe he was the one to recover Yhwach's body after his defeat
maybe Gerard helped him?
this could be made into interesting content and since their fights are still comming imo that would be the perfect chance to give us insight on it
@@maliknmalikah5637 Gremmy is definitely strong but i find that people hype him up beyond his actual level
the only claim he has for being the strongest is a self claim wich is no different from any other character doing so
Gerard for example once said in the manga that "he was the mightiest strongest and fastest of all Quincy"
Barragan said "he was a god"
Grimmjow said "he was the king"
and Noitota said "nobody could destroy his body"
all character claims same as Gremmy's but all untrue in the end since they're all based on that character's personal beliefs
the captains you said Gremmy killed were already on their deathbeds
the Femritters did feared him but then they went against the Zaraki that defeated him with the weakest attacks they could use on him
i mean they didn't even drew their bows on him and only two actually attacked him plus none of them even bothered to use Volstandig this proves that they fear him individually and not as a group
since as a group they're actually a much bigger threat than Gremmy if you consider their actual feats
Liltotto survived a fight against Reio Yhwach just surviving is a miracle since he's the actually strongest Bleach characters we ever saw
Giselle has a much more dangerous soldier than Gremmy ever was in her grasp in the form of Toshiro if they had allowed his Bankai to be active beyond the time limit considering how the post Auswählen Schutzstaffels outclassed Zaraki too
Pernida pretty much destroyed him no diff
and Gerard has been confirmed by Kubo that the strongest version of Zaraki to date a version that was stronger than the Shikai Zaraki that beat Gremmy aka Bankai Zaraki was unable to destroy Gerard
so Gremmy who can't even manage to copy his perception of Shikai Zaraki's power and survive the conditions will definitely be unable to do a thing VS Gerard
wich is something that adult form Toshiro did to a better extent than Bankai Zaraki in some ways too since he managed to outhax Hofnung
then we have Meninas who isn't as impressive as Giselle or Liltotto but she put the wounded Zaraki down in one hit with again no bow no Volstandig no nothing just her Schrift
and lastly Candice she is likely the weakest out of the bunch but unlike Gremmy she did managed to blitz Zaraki wich isn't that impressive since Zaraki isn't all that fast
but Gremmy also had a go at the post "space room" Zaraki too when he used the clones to try and blow him up (this was actually the only time Gremmy tried to move since the rest of the fight he was just standing still) and that same wounded Zaraki that was unable to react to Candice managed to deal with a few Gremmy copies at the same time
proving that Gremmy isn't a fast fighter either
wich makes sense he is a Schrift type of fighter no an other Quincy skills type of fighter
likely because he spent most of his life on a cage unlike the others who were actually receiving military training
he also doesn't have Volstandig apparently
all and all he's still stronger than them individually but as a group they are much more trouble than Gremmy
and the Schutzstaffels are definitely outclassing him
to me this solves the Gremmy situation as a personal belief he has rather than him actually being the strongest
in the end no matter if you agree with the Schutzstaffels being stronger than him or not he is definitely bellow Yhwach and we all know it so in my opinion no matter how you look at it his claim is definitely not intended to be taken as if he was actually the strongest and more like him communicating a personal belief through dialogue
@@Force-Multiplier also Gerrard saying lille is embarassing the X-axis in the last episode provides the assumption that maybe the ability has existed before lille like Jugrams.
The anime usually retconns a lot of deep lore just like how ep. 125 had Yama saying he isn't the first ever head captain commander or knowledge of a key to the royal palace having existed being passed down to old man Yama from the prev. Head captain commander.
More Retconnes are coming.
In any other story, Yhwach would be the hero.
Only if you’re a quincy.
Not really. He’s an evil person at his core.
Even with all of this extra stuff there's still so much we don't know, I hope Kubo has more reveals for the future.
idk why but yhwach 1000 yrs ago feels extremely benevolent to me if u compare him to yama or osho then yhwach feels like the good one
That is my take on this
I just checked and TBTP had six episodes. Maybe the next cour is going to start explaining about Reio, Mimihagi, Pernida, including the Ise clan and Mayuri studying about the right and left hands
I think Jugo is saying Quincies with no talent like Jugram were weeded out, not those who can share power. I could be wrong, but it makes more sense to me if that's what he meant
I’m gonna keep asking this for nearly every video since no other bleach channel covers it but mrtommo imma need a video on Hubert, Argola, Zieldritz & that new female Quincy with speculation of their strength, possible new scenes & what their Schrift could be pleaseee😂
They don’t have schrifts, since we know Lille is the first person YH gave a schrift
@@matt8258 ye? But Jugram got bestowed his letter the balance before the end 1000 years ago fight that means Lille has to be present and everyone else I assume had a Schrift since yhwach wouldn’t only bestow it too 2 people also Robert accutrone was supposedly in the 1000 years ago battle since he said he’s seen yhwach auswahhlen before so they must have a Schrift
@@Synces6969They all honestly look weak and uninteresting to me personally
@@br5073 Well they just aren’t though 💀 there some of the most intresting characters in the series if you think otherwise I’d be inclined to say your not a big fan of the series to care enough about the lore and how strong these character actually are kubo said himself those 4 are the old “schutstaffel” they easily beat some non royal guard like bazz B almost no-low diff we even see Hubert mocking bazz b and squaring up with a prime version of himself from 1000 years ago with potentially the balance
@@Synces6969 they got offscreened, so clearly they're soi fon victims. Just fodder who can easily be replaced. Bazz solos the old schutzstaffel negative diff
Maybe Yamamoto was given orders not to kill the son of the Soul King. And therefore, after defeating him in battle, they placed a kido spell on him that lasted 900 years.
If Yamamoto was given orders to not to kill the son of SK, Mayuri wouldn't say "you FAILED to kill that man".
@@dylankudaibergenov8279 Mayuri didn’t come around until much later, so he wouldn’t know about the order given to him a thousand years ago.
You didn't come around until much later and yet you know Hitler led Nazis and ordered his men to kill millions of Jews. Why
would Mayuri, a genius Shinigami would spit BS and leaving Yamamoto speechless? It's either bad writing by the author or you just don't get Mayuri's informative dialogue throughout TYBW. Mayuri did even question "but why is the left hand of SK serving Yhwach?" Meaning he doesn't spit BS
The Soul King Arms also develop their own Will so it could be that the arm wanted to take from Yhwach
The girl/fourth SS (if that's what the four of them truly were) could be Pernida, but it'd also be interesting if she's an ancestor of the Kurosaki clan. Not sure there's anything pointing to that, just having fun speculating
They must have some crazy huge additions to the lore and story in the remaining two cours. The anime is going to be half over after tomorrow's finale and there will only be around 70 or so chapters left of material to adapt. Gonna be very interesting to see what happens from here on out.
Questions I have:
1) the hand that was lost in sealing the eyes of YB. Was it lost because the thing it saw with YB made him change sides or was it something else.
2) YB going to fight yamaji was whether to reawake his eyes or the first invasion he was sure to win.
3) childhood of YB,
why is he special,
is he really "the" son of SK or is it just a way of saying since SK is everyone's Father and he also calls all his followers children(biological v metaphor),
Origin of Quincies because we can tell that they existed before YB unless this is his 3rd reincarnation and not second reincarnation.
At least we got an explanation as for why Yhwach didn't Almightied Yamamoto to death
but we have zero context as for why the Left Arm of Reio aka Pernida is preventing Yhwach from using Almighty
if anything it should have been Mimihagi since that was the one that had the power to prevent the progress of things
Pernida had the power to perpetually evolve ...
Tears of joy for this season 2 finale ..i just know it
I wounder how old gotei 13 would do against the new sternritters
I find it hard to believe BazzB and Haschwalt are both over a thousand years old
Yamamoto didn't fail to kill him, he failed to completely erase his existence.
I would take an ova of just the history of bleach because it's so interesting
So quincies randomly started popping up among humans like evolution?
Im really intrigued by the previous schutzstaffel and would love to know how they got switched out
Question. Since there's about 50 odd episodes due to release overall, is the FYOW novel going to be animated as well?
YuH is 200 years old when he meets Ichibe so the Yamji seen is 500 to 1000 years before the Ichibe-YuH meeting.
WOW SQUAD 0 IS AMAZING. I KNEW THEY COULD KICK ANYONES ASSES IN THE SERIES.... More context shown as to why they don't go all out HOLY SHIT.
Episode 26 is ending with a cliffhanger, its gonna end when ichibe used his giant hands to crushed yhwach body. No one in the zero squad has died yet.
Why do they need to remove the soul king’s limbs in order to maintain the 3 world?
This was epic, but I still want to see the original gotei 13 fully fleshed out and animated. Like what happened them besides Yama and unahana
The mystery of the gun lady!? She's Ichigo's great grandmother! Nah! It would be crazy if she was!
Where do you get ur bleach manga colored from?
They need to make a anime on the First Gotei I’d like to see that on screen
One pupil: The world as it is.
Two pupils: Why the world is as it is.
Three pupils: How you WISH to shape the future and the means.
Four pupils: The most likely outcomes plus outliers.
Five pupils: THE FACTS (Ichigo's training).
They explained why Quincy and Shinigami can’t get along: Hollows are permanently dead once killed by Quincy. This upsets the balance of life, death, and rebirth.
Your videos butter My biscuits thank you
If it hurts Yhwach to feel the suffering of souls - why are his Quincies killing off Hollows? Arev the ones wiped out via Quincy power also restored to Yhwach?
I also noticed that Yhwach claimed that he absorbs quincy souls but not shinigami souls. Did Kubo change this or was it a simple mistake?
Could have been a 1.5hr movie about "young" genryusai
Maybe u should do a live dor the final épisodes
It’s so weird to think that Bazz B is older than Kyoraku.
My theory. The zero division saved yuwabac because they wanted him as a vessel option for the soul king.
Best ep of cour 2 after Kenpachi V Grammy lets goooo
Wouldn’t it be cool if they added that humanity lost a ton of development because Ichibei erased Quincy and their Empire from the memories of humans when Yhwach was defeated
Bleach series is amazing 🤩👌
Many Quincy moves are namend in german und and the abilatys of the "second"
generation, in other words the Sternenritter are namend in modern english. Like a verbal revolution, like in the real world. Oh and also in burn the witch, at least for me the witches/ wizards dont feel like Shinigamis. Or in better words the feel I get is a mixe of Quincy and Shinigami culturs. Spell slinging und range wapon using but at the same time proud and some wat nobel.
just a litel theory I head recently, oh and sorry for my bad english I´m not a nativ spea... äh writer?
this confirms that yamamoto beat yahwah while he had the almighty. ichibe didn’t take the almighty from yahwah he canceled his ability at that point and time. remember when the right hand tried to stop yahwah it didn’t take the almighty from him. it’s more of a counter
Hear me out, what if everything that’s happened was all part of the Soul King’s plan…. He has foreseen everything that was going to happen
