June 27th 2024 Long Island Metro Fishing Report with Matthew Broderick

The last couple of weeks it's been the North Shore and now it's the South Shore's turn to give up some good fluking. All of the bays are seeing increased production with quantity as well as quality in the last week. Not much word on the striper bite on the outside since the wind picked up in the region. We did know of good tuna fishing right before it did, south of Montauk and Block. When it settles, we'll have to see where the fish end up but chances are they might be right where they were last found before the blow. The porgy fishing below Port Jefferson has been generally lousy , very few keepers around..even in the party boats from City Island has been bad with very few keepers around.., hopefully it'll get better...
