    Really helpful video - in just 1m 39s you answered my question and I've now been able to fix a kitchen drawer that's been unusable for months (in a kitchen that was only fitted 18 months ago!). Thank you!

    Thank you for a great explanation. All I had to do was tighten the existing screws. Your video helped me understand how the drawer system works so I could figure out how to fix the problem.

    In the old holes I usually put some broken toothpicks in as shims and touch of wood glue. Great video!

    Nice tips--especially about the side screw and the shorter screw to not split the wood.

    Thanks. I need to see whats under my bottom drawer in the bathroom (some things have fallen in there, I think), and knowing how to get it out will help. (They're working fine after about 12 years.)

    One of my drawers is not breaking! Before the drawer was breaking and then the was closing slow, without any sound, now it is not breaking. What do you recomend me? Thank you!

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  3 года назад

      I would pull the drawer completely out and try to locate the issue. You will see better that way. there should be tabs on both side of the drawer that will allow you to remove the drawer.

    How can I take out a kitchen drawer to replace slide? granite is on top of the cabinet, so only way is through the drawer but they don't come out by just sliding...ANY SUGGESTION?

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  3 года назад

      There is going to be some kind of button or push tab to release the slide. Send me a picture if you like and I will look at it. ufix247@gmail.com

    Did you ever ask your cabinet maker why that piece was not screwed in like the one on the other side?

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  3 года назад +1

      these guys assembled the cabinets at my house. They ran out of that size screw! Funny, not funny! I would have been ok if they came back to put the one drawer on.
