The PERFECT cinewhoop?? 🤔 BetaFPV Pavo25 V2

- Today we are reviewing the BetaFPV Pavo25 V2 cinewhoop FPV drone. This bind and fly (BNF) drone ships without a video transmitter (VTX), so we'll first be installing a DJI O3 Air Unit into it. This drone is a really strong contender for my favorite drone with only a few negatives. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions about it!

Great review! You are right about the bottom screws, it easily loosens and gets off. I lost one of the bottom screws on one of my flights but noticed it after a few days later.
Appreciate that! Yeah, definitely a pain. A drop of Loctite might be a good idea, but those tiny bolts are sure to strip 🤔
Great review. I been waiting for someone to fly this smooth and show. Just placed my order today. Cheers
Glad to hear it helped! Hope it works well for you.
You only need to remove the ducts to fit the o3 instead of disconnecting camera and antenna. Much easier.
Theoretically yes. However my copy was VERY tight and felt like it was going to break. I'm sure that is what was intended, though.
Good design for LED strip on Flywoo lens (could stole the idea) - where you just push it into hole frame ducts(no glue - install/uninstall/swap colors easy)
That definitely would be easier
@@DanielJohnFPV Have you tried Pavo20 and what do you think about it compared to this one?
@@Braincho I actually have one shipping to me now. I'll have my thoughts on that one up eventually.
@@DanielJohnFPV looking forward for new video or at least short feedback. Thanks!
Nicee, and wich is your favorite one for indoor flying? Thankss what about the prop guards? Are Better than the cinelog?
So far I prefer the Pavo25 to the Cinelog25 for everything. It feels a bit more controllable, the prop guards are sturdier, DJI O3, the vibration isolation mounts are stiffer. That’s not to say the Cinelog25 is a bad drone at all. They are both excellent choices, and I’d be happier with either.
what mic are you using during the flight? ?
I’m using the Rode Wireless Go ii’s 🙌🏼
Hi Daniel, greetings from Panama.
Can I install a walksnail vtx on that pavo?
Hey Jaime, according to BetaFPV's website, you can. I'm not sure if it comes with a dual antenna mount, however.
Appreciate the thorough review at the end - what a helpful video! 👏🏼
Glad it was helpful!
"Make sure it is pointing toward your monitor." It is on your monitor. I get what you mean, but it seems weird to me to interpret it that way. 🤔
Make sure the actual drone is pointing to the monitor - not the Betaflight model
I just can't get the yellow and brown o3 wires to disconnect!
how did you do it??
I used a safety pin. Use the point to lift up a tiny plastic flap on the plug, and the wire will slip right out. You don’t have to lift it far
Which came out first, the Pavo25 V2 Series Motor 1506 4200KV or the Pavo25 V2 Series Motor 1505 4600KV?
I believe the 1505 4600KV came out first. I'm not sure why they changed them
did u have to play around with Betaflight at all?
I have the same setup with dji integra goggles and dii controller 2
and I played around with the Betaflight app and still could not get the motors to turn on
I do see what the dji o3 unit sees and that's it
This is going to be hard for me to describe through text: on your throttle stick, is it springy? Or does it stay where you leave it?
Did you ever solve this issue? I am currently having the exact same problem with my new V2.
Everything is bound, updated and tested seperately but still can't get any response from the drone with my Controller 2.
With these cinewhoops instead of a naked gopro or the o3 for recording what do you think of using a dji action 2?
I haven’t used an Action 2 myself so I can’t comment on quality, but it looks like they are comparable weights. As long as it mounts to a GoPro style mount, that should work. I bet it would be a pretty tidy package
@@DanielJohnFPV And cheaper Ive heard the naked goPros are really fragile and expensive.
@@ErikWerlin cheaper is definitely a plus. I have a GoPro subscription, so I think they are a similar cost. The GoPro does have a replaceable screen which the Action 2 doesn’t. Mine seems to be fairly durable, but I’ll replace it with a naked GoPro eventually
Can u share your PID
Hi sir can u show how to programe drone
What do you mean by “program?”
Tell me what motors are on your quadcopter. On my Pavo25 v2 1505 4600kv it is blue. It looks like you have some others?
I have the 1506 4200kv motors. They’re shipping with a different set now for some reason
Wonder which ones are better, i have the 4200 kv motors as well
fr, why does every other big youtuber focus so much on freestyle performance during cinewhoop reviews...
I honestly don't know. It doesn't matter how hard a cinewhoop rips - it's never going to do as well as an open prop drone.
@@DanielJohnFPV it's so you can see the limits of how a cinewhoop can fly. You might never know what the DP would want the cinewhoop to do and if it can't get the shot then it's your fault.
@@lionelttlmy thoughts exactly like why wheelie a bike
@@lionelttl I totally get you and appreciate acro performance tests, but I feel like half the time I don't see the reviewers actually try to do a smooth take. For sure I want to know what it's capable of, but that includes the actual cinematic flights as well. Just seems like a much higher ratio of freestyle flights than cinematic on a lot of cinewhoop reviews imho.
