Me and I really, really close friend of mine. McKenzie Dickerson, she was the closest thing ever to me. We went to their concert. And when I heard this song with her. I never really got the chance to really tell her how much I truly loved her. Before she passed away in a car accident.

This song is too underrated. It was slightly ahead of it's time for country music and nobody took this band seriously enough to promote a song like this.

I am a Retired USN Sailor. I last saw my sons August 6 1999. When I their mother where are they she REFUSES to tell me. I paid 19 years child support and i also paid for her college education. Something my own dad never did. I never got child support from him, instead I paid the bills and put food on the table from the time i was 14 till i joined the USN at 18. No one in the family can tell me they understand how i feel because they have never gone through what i have. I died in 1997 due to head trauma when i blacked our playing volleryball. DIabetes. instead of taking the easy way out i finisished another 10 years in the USN . Was told i had cancer in 1994, they could not find it in 2004. I prayed and my Father took it out. thank you 8th of November.
Your a good man, my 2 sons dad never wanted to see them and it has affected them so much. My youngest son has just joined the Marines, I pray for him. Thank you, for your service and God bless you!!🙏

This song has a lot of meaning for me.it was the first song we ever danced to...my husband used it as part of his proposal..it was also our "first dance" at our wedding...even now,(9years together, married for2 years) , if we hear it, we take the time to dance(and sing along) to it.

I'm 63 and have been a rock music fan my whole life. A month or so ago I ran across a few songs by Big n Rich and they changed my life. I have to listen to Holy Water and That's Why I Pray every night before bed. Lost In This Moment and Run Away With You are also favorites. I can't wait to see them in concert but I have to hear the first two songs live when I do and hopefully meet them in person. Garry
