You have done such an amazing job! What a handy tool to have with your phone being able to scan labels. Back in the old days people had to do it all by hand and I think they probably got discouraged. You sounded like you were apologizing for buying the ready made jello & pudding but I say you are smart to do it that way as it is already portioned out for you and I think it keeps us from over-indulging in it...like a heavy pour on my wine portions when I do it myself 😁👍🍷~ Jennie ~

Hi Marlene! I’m 64 yrs young also and down -27lbs. I use chia seeds in two ways: in my smoothie I add 2 TBS. but note that they swell up and make the smoothie very thick. Just add a bit more water if it bothers you. I find I’m full longer and they are SO nutritious. Secondly, for a quick lunch I heat 1-2 C bone broth and add 2 Tbs chia seeds and one egg (beaten). It’s kind of an egg drop soup. You can do this with or without the seeds.without chia, 0 points for beef broth, 1 pt for chicken broth. No idea why🤷🏼♀️

I’m so involved in this meeting between 2 PM and 7 PM and that’s it. I like what you said about walking a couple of times in the day instead of one shot that was an excellent suggestion.
I meant to say “eating” not “meeting” so I guess no food meetings after 7:00 PM. lol.
LOL, I knew what you meant after reading it a second time... too funny! I take about 5 10 to 15 minutes walks/day which = about half mile. After dinner, I go for 30 minutes. I think that's what has really helped. However, I gradually increased to this. xoxo

I love all the Sparkling Ice except for lemonade. I don't really have a favorite. I add the 2 T of vinegar to cold water. I purchase the 16oz water bottle and always have some in the fridge. I just add the vinegar to one of those. xoxo

Hi Gabby! Thank you so much for visiting! No, I do not cook separately for him and he doesn't cook. He either eats what I put on the table (he loves vegetables and salads) or he runs over to Sonic or another fast food for a burger and fries which are not tempting to me at all. xoxo

Thank you so much, Gerri! When I hit a plateau, i reduce my carbs and sugar, increase water and protein, and try to add some extra steps in. That usually helps. xoxo
81 pounds?!? Wow! That is amazing! Congratulations!! You look fantastic! I have struggled with my weight for about 14 years now, even had gastric sleeve surgery and lost 55 pounds but gained it back. I’ve tried weight watchers many times and am successful while on it but always fall off the WW wagon 😕 you mentioned apple cider vinegar, how do you take it? Do you just swallow 2 tbls or do you mix it with something?
Hi Deb! Thank you so much! Weight loss is a struggle for sure, but WW seems to be working well for me. I just make sure not to deprive myself so I never feel as if I'm dieting. I add the 2T of apple cider vinegar to a bottle of cold water. I've gotten so used to it that now I miss it when I forget to add it. xoxo

Hi Kimbra, yes, I do IF. I stop eating at 6PM. I don't break the fast until 10AM. Some days, I go until noon. I'd love to not break my fast until 2PM, but I'm not there yet. Thank you so much for the sweet compliment! xoxo
Have you ever been at a plateau because I have been stuck in a plateau for many months now!
Hi Syma, thank you for stopping by! Yes, I have been on plateaus. When that happens, I believe it's due to your metabolism declining, causing you to burn fewer calories than you did at your heavier weight. Slower metabolism will slow weight loss, even if you eat the same number of calories that helped you lose weight. When the calories we burn equal the calories we eat, we reach a plateau. What I have done to get over the plateau and continue losing weight is I've increased my lean protein intake (chicken breast, fish, seafood), increased my walking, and lowered my carbs and sugar. I also increased the times I walked. I started out walking about 4 times per day (10 minute walks). When I hit my first plateau, I increase it to 6 walks (10 minutes each) then a 30 minute walk. When I hit the second plateau, I started intermittent fasting. I did start with short fasting time (10 hours) and now do anywhere from 14 - 18 hours fasting. I change it up. I hope this helps. xoxo

Hi Marlene, very informative video. If you don't mind my asking, did you lose all your weight with or without being on HRT? I had heard it was easier to lose at this age if you are taking hormones but it hasn't made any difference for me which is so disappointing. I can't begin to imagine losing 80 lb now after menopause :( Would be interested to know your situation
Hi Leeanne, Thank you for visiting. I went through menopause when I was 42. My period was here one month and never returned. I had no symptoms of any kind. I don't take and have never taken any hormones or any other medication such as for high blood pressure, thyroid, cholesterol etc. I've lost 81 pounds just following the WW plan, walking, lots of water, and no meds. I have no doubt you can too :-) xoxo
