- Meal Prep to LOSE WEIGHT! See what I eat in a day as I do a WW meal prep. Planning what I eat and meal prepping are crucial in my weight loss journey on WW / Weight Watchers! :) You don't need to be on any type of weight loss journey to follow my channel. I used the recipe above, but used 3 slices Oscar Mayer fully cooked bacon instead of Canadian bacon.
// GRILLED CHEESE PIZZA SANDWICH 💙4 | 💜4 | 💚4
2 slices L'Oven Net Zero bread (1 point for 2 slices)
15 slices Hormel turkey pepperoni
1-1/2 Tbsp no-sugar-added Prego traditional pasta sauce
1 slice reduced-fat mozzarella
spray butter
garlic powder
basil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Spray bread with pray butter and sprinkle with garlic powder. Top unbuttered side of one slice of bread with the sauce. Top with cheese, pepperoni, a sprinkle of basil, and remaining slice of bread.
Spray heated griddle with cooking spray. Cook at 300 until bread is toasted and golden.
For best reheating results, reheat in a toaster/convection oven or panini press.
Serve with zero-point marinara for dipping, if desired.

1 lb wild-caught salmon (additional points for green if using farmed salmon)
1 to 2 tsp ginger
2 Tbsp Lakanto brown sugar (0-point brown sugar)
1 garlic clove
1 oz bourbon
1-1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a bag. Marinate salmon for 2-12 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Heat cast iron (or oven-safe) skillet in oven for five minutes.
Remove pan using potholders and put on a stove burner set at high.
Spritz cooking spray in a hot pan and let heat for a minute.
Turn the burner down a notch. Add salmon skin-side up and pan-sear for 2-1/2 minutes, without moving. Flip and cook for another 2-1/2 minutes.
Remove skin, if desired. Put pan in oven for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
Let rest for 5 minutes.

For the aldi bread - my aldi sometimes has them stored in the chest freezer section (with the rotating freezer goods) instead of with the bread so I would suggest checking in both areas

don't get me wrong- I love your videos. Just for the sake of feedback, you use a lot of processed foods that i would never eat which contributes to just another new set of health problems. Thank you for what you do - i love the prep vids for the ideas
Thanks so much! I appreciate your comment. I actually just talked about this in a recent video. This particular video is from 2020. In 2021, I spent the year in a "maintenance" phase, just really learning about food and my body, etc. I consider myself to now follow the 80/20 rule, meaning 80% of my diet is lean meats, healthy fats, fruits, veggies, and whole grains (when I'm able to tolerate them). I'm glad you're able to get ideas from my videos still though. :) With that being said, thanks so much for providing feedback and not being rude about it. It's rare that happens, so I appreciate that!! :)

When I made my husband a two egg omelet I would use just a pinch on the tines of a fork. Does not affect the taste, but might even feel like it stretches them on your burritos.

Actually my husband does the steaks on the grill. I have done them a few times inside though. Maybe I can try to put together a video showing both cooking on the grill and inside. For some of my dinner kits I put together, I do have Cook with Me videos out there. I have a Cook with Me Playlist you can always check too. However, I did just go in and add links to the videos I have out for these three dinner kits. If you go in to the description box, scroll down to the recipes and there will be a link to the recipe, plus a link to the video where you can see the finished product. :) But just keep in mind, these videos are from the old Freestyle program and these are when I just started my channel, so not the greatest! LOL

I love that you eat like a normal person 😂 And not just salads. It's very similar to how I eat, I just count calories rather than WW. So it helps give me some great ideas. Those grilled cheese pizza sandwiches look AMAZING! Thanks so much for sharing!
That's great!! I love hearing that my videos help others, whether they're on WW or not. That's my goal since I'm more about meal planning and prepping. :) And don't get me wrong, I love salads, but I like being able to eat all sorts of different things. People who see me eat are usually shocked when I say I'm on weight loss mode. LOL Girl, those pizza sandwiches were sooooo good!! Next time I'm going to make a zero-point marinara to dip them in. That's all they were missing.

I love your meal prep videos! Meal prepping is the key. What kind of marker are you using on your dinner kits?
Thank you so much, Angela! I just use a dry erase marker from my marker board. I used to use a permanent marker though. That would come up with some soap and water, but took quite a bit of hard scrubbing to come off completely. The dry erase marker rubs right off in soapy water. :)

Those sandwiches though...Yum!! I found a similar bread at Costo! I love that the texture is the same are regular bread! I just looked today at my local Aldi's and still can't find the L'Oven Keto bread. Those silly meal preps jumped right off the table!

Love your meal prep videos! Now I am in the mood to make a batch of breakfast burritos, but I use sausage and a little salsa in mine. I wrap each individually and fill a gallon ziplock for the freezer. I was wondering, when you talk about popcorn for snacks--do you air pop it? Do you put anything on it?
I just told my husband last night that I need to try a batch with sausage! I bet they are really good! And yes, salsa would be great! I usually dip mine in hot sauce. And I actually have a glass popcorn jar that goes in the microwave. Thanks so much, Trish!! I'm glad you found me! :) I've not tried the yogurt in the eggs! I may try that. I'm cautious with Greek yogurt because I've made a couple things that I could really taste the tartness of the yogurt. But I'll have to give it a try with the eggs. Thanks!! :)
I second the idea. I tried it too and didn't taste the yogurt just added creaminess. I'm on purple so I'll also add some fat-free cottage cheese to my eggs for omelettes.

I'm telling you, I am one of your biggest fans and think your grandson is the cutest. Love your channel, so please do not take this the wrong way. I watch several videos a day, but usually on t.v. while I am folding laundry, cleaning and such. I just watched a video and you show some chicken that is healthier for you. Here goes, I use to use a lot of the light, fat free, and sugar free stuff. Then I started watching Bobby Parish on RUclips and he explained how bad all of that is for you. If you were to read the ingredients on the back of that sugar free syrup, it should scare you. Using them is your business and I will never stop watching, but do worry about the chemicals we all put into our bodies. When they put ...natural flavors....means there is an array of chemicals they can put in. I just eat less, but the real stuff. Okay, my rant is over, I just get concerned .... tune him in and give him a chance:) Love you, girl! 73 here and tend to mother.
See, Pat!! Now THIS is how you give constructive criticism and share your concerns without being rude. It's amazing some of the rude haters out there!! I respect you so much for this comment. I totally understand your concern. As I transition to a more healthier lifestyle, I am trying to go through and eliminate some things. I know I'll never be a clean eater, but I've mentioned that this year I really want to focus on health and I know that means doing away with some of the sugar-free items. I typically don't eat too many fat-free items, but I do eat reduced- fat. So yes, it is a goal of mine to eventually cut down on a lot of the sugar-free products. Thank you so much for being a big supporter of mine, and thank you so much for voicing a concern without being blatantly rude. 💕💕
