People are under the impression that the life guards are there to entertain tourist and decoration for the palace, they are professional soldiers that have been deployed to conflicts to them it is an honor to serve at the palace, give them respect and space and consideration that they are doing their job

They don’t seem to realise these are full time operational army personnel carrying out a ceremonial role. And as such should be treated with respect. I think new regulations need to be put in place that require people to stay behind the bollards. If they don't like it, they can leave. Or be escorted off the premises.

The disrespect shown to the King's Guards is widespread!! Something should be done to inform & educate the tourists long before they approach for their photo! This perhaps begins with the tour hosts, and if it does, they should somehow be held accountable for the actions of the tourists they are responsible to!! the only reason the guard told them to get back is because of the police siren has made the horse agitated a bit, plus too many people around him and the horse, he's done it for the safety of everyone, including himself and horse, the older bloke who is saying (or what) is a complete idiot and doesn't realise how dangerous a horse is when its spooked, but it could be down to the changing of the horse guard.
