Everyone should own at least one Vox Wah. I purchased a V847A demo model from Sweetwater and was not disappointed. It even came in a plain brown cardboard box sealed with a demo sticker. The 846 is warmer while the 847 is brighter sounding. Kenny with Vox Amps did a tone tips comparison video.

I've had a nice Fender Tred-Lite Wah for a couple years now. It just works when I feel that "Shaft" vibe coming on.

I have had a wah problem. I have a dunlop fasel wah, dunlop 535Q, tgomas organ 94 with later stack of dimes inductor, vox v846hw, original cry baby with red fasel, original vox v846 with trash can inductor, earlier original vox v846 with original stack of dimes inductor and not least a vox clyde mccoy signature wah with large hole halo inductor. I think I got them all!

I have used the Dunlop Crybaby 535Q. It's a great wah but I've always been interested in trying a Vox.
