not for someone whom is an original lover. and an original ef9 keeps its value if you take good care for it, but yeah you could do that. i stay with my nissan cherry n12 with an SR20DET engine conversion in it. :)

Well EF and EG are not so different except the EF is lighter but they have basically the same suspension setup, with a few differences in handling. The EF is said to be a bit softer in stock form than the EG and just a slight roll. But with one or two strut bars and a nice suspension setup the EF might be the best handling civic among the "gold" generations civics. That is also because is the lightest.
Realistically the EF9 should be capable of the same lap times as the EG6 if tuned the same, despite them saying generational gap, the suspension layout is actually identical.
Wow what are the figures on that integra, it did a 14.0 run with circuit tuned suspension, if it has drag tune and skinny rears it will be in the 13 sec.
@@rume8776 in the 80s a commercial out the vox hatchback was about 130bhp ans 850kg. Peugeot 205 GTi. Hpwever, they were unreliable and actually not fun to drive. I actually prefer a Rover 200 brm over a peugeot
but the EG6 SiR-II and the EK9 Type R even the EP3 still looking good all designs since the FN2 are ugly not mention the model of 2017 It has fake air vents
@@Hetzerg The old honda hatchbacks with the B16A and ITB's sounds eargasmic the ITB's are for N/A engines and purists and makes a good raw sound in the average engine between 1600cc 2000cc
@@Hetzerg I'm 16 and I was a big Honda hater but since I see Best Motoring this makes me want to buy a EG6 with a B16A and learn the driving techniques of the FF cars I actually own a Mazda Miata NA8 but damn the EG6 looks pretty good If I save money I would love to install an ITB configuration to the B16A I love the raw sound of the N/A engines
@@Hetzerg I like the Civic SIR and Type R hatchbacks and Integras GSR and Type R those cars have good specs for the track I hope find a EG6 with the 5 speed manual and the B16A and install a nice ITB's setup and blast Dancing and your gonna be Super Eurobeat while practicing the left-foot braking technique not trying to be shingo XD dabaru crashu ikoze
dc2 and dc5 are def the best out of all of those have u seen a factory civic beat turbo cars? no have u seen a factory integra do it? yes gansan has spanked the min an integra a few times

EF was using a 4.40 final drive. eg6 and dc2 were using the 4.785 final. that's why the dc2 pulled ahead of the ef9.
BenseBuilt Ef looked to be using a stock exhaust too. Very restrictive.
it might actually have a 4.26, the EF9 had that pesky Y1 trans with optional LSD, a real oddball. The DA6 integra got the 4.4fd but no available LSD.
Maaaaan... I love the way the ef9 looks soo much. It just looks so sexy... I would love to own one in the future :D
