honda dont get a bad rep people have nothing better to do than hate and point and laugh its like making fun of the less fortunate its digusting just because someone cant afford much more than a exhaust tip and a sub in their car they arent doing anything wrong.

Honda’s are great cars and by no means are they slow. Now not to say their fast. But it’s American Honda drivers that ruin it for everyone.

everyone is extremely thrilled that the CRX beat out the NSX, forgetting that it was the only street car there. It was able to take on cars with better weight to power and have lap times similar to the race winning car
very true the NSX has tons of potential still and is simply a ridiculous track car.
FF also has better motor setups that can make 300 or more HP for road racing.
That's another battle they had over tsukuba, but joined by a RX7 which eat them all for breakfast. The DK did get his revenge on the CRX with the 3 rotor FD

That "street car" had over 30% or 90hp over stock, so it's no simple stock car.

The SS Works CRX is the car that gave me the idea to pull off the JUNK Electromotive HPX (then XDI) dual coil waste ignition spark system off my dual DCOE 45 Weber/TWM manifold D16A6 89 hatch EF. The SS Works CRX ran a modified d12/d13 mechanical advance distributor--so that is what I did! I located a d13c carbed distributor with mechanical and vacuum advance, pulled off the vacuum can. Bolted the sliding vacuum plate in place, then welded the advance weights to the shaft. This gave me locked out timing which the dyno showed made optimum power at 28 degrees. It was12:1 compression and ran great on 93. Shifted around 7800-7900 and made 180 at the wheels on a Dynojet from an NA 1606cc D16A6.
Very simple build and since the car was maybe 1700 lbs maximum--it easily would be a mid 12 second car. Not fast by todays standards but BY FAR the most fun car I've owned!
Out of all the cars above, I would take the d13 City with 160ps at 1380lbs and the 250ps Beams 3S-GE Altezza.

1600 pounds. You can get that with no carbon. My last track crx weighed 1820 with a driver and it wasn't cut much.

Supra doesn't handle very well, you'd need some serious weight reduction and balancing, and make boost hit predictably. Then you'd be talking about a serious contender.

That CR-X,it has 246hp but it is speeding like that City,is has 1.3l sounding like Civic-CR-X. The driver of the City was trying to push gears in full throttle,he reached the course (out), but Jun Auto Civic go at 5th position!

I dont understand why the altezza isnt as popular as the s2k or integra. Its a well balanced, great looking and performing car.

As a Altezza owner, id have loved to see it come with a NA 2JZ in Japan. Just to see what they wouldve done with it. Very few built NA builds out there
The AS300 trim of the Altezza had a 2JZ-GE, I do not know if a manual was offered but it could surely be swapped with an R154. The 2JZ-GE is not bad, but very heavy and not as powerful as compared to the 3S-GE.

well, the USA has if im not mistaken. the honda crx 1.5I or 1.6I ESI VTI model, wich comes close to the R model. and good ones are expensive because it is becoming a popular classic. wich will gain only more fan base

DJLOUIE1000 CRX is FWD they are good for speed connering because it had acceleration more than NSX even NSX has Higher WHP. They have own cons ( I can't say the word. Might offend other ) and heck NSX good for straight line because of top speed

Those engines are build, not a factory internals. Basically it can make more than 200hp, depends on what build do you do.

Yellow civic EK has a b18c forged internals by spoon engine build.
That’s why it’s a lot of power on those Honda engine especially have tuning engaged vtecs
