Hi
This Van came to me with a couple issues... well, one was not really an issue... was just a confusion made by the owner...
Anyway, on this video, I will be chasing an ESP light permanently on, the van had a "new" (I guess used...), steering angle sensor (SAS), still, the light stayed on.
In the end, something really silly, but still interesting... I guess...😋
Hope you enjoy the video.
Any questions or comments put them below.
Like always, thank you for watching!
Don't forget Luis that what seems simple and obvious to you can be a big problem for others. I have the same problem with cooking.😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
👍👍👍
Good video as always Luis. Have driven quite a few of this model transit and can confirm that is how the headlights are from the factory. It's a weird setup.
☺️

How could they miss such a simple thing that's very funny 😂

Good morning
Any video you download is important no matter what it is

Thanks!

I had the same esp light on but it went off my steering wheel is not straight like yours so I think a wheel alignment then go from there. Excellent video thank you.
Make sure the steering wheel is also installed correctly!
👍👍👍
Good morning Luis. Great video and good observation on detecting a minor fault - a pin on the plug. Thanks for you efforts 😊
☺️

Nice fix Luis, sure it does not always have to be that complicated. Quite amusing just to try and understand what the previous person was trying to do with this one: replacing the steering wheel, the stalks and then possibly blowing the obd fuse with a mickey mouse scan tool. Only God knows I guess ...
Indeed...
☺️
👍👍👍
Parts canon big time
It is how it looked...
👍👍👍
Stalkers in the back 😂
I keep making that mistake...
🤣🤦♂️
👍👍👍
Excellent diagnostic as always, if You want to extend life of the battery in autel or any modern device is recommended to use up to 20% and then charge up to 80% , it's more complicated but will save ££ for new battery too quickly. I did some research in this subject and those values are optimal for battery life. For longer storage devices used rarely charge up to 40% then put on shelf:) Take care.

Luis , it's all about details when you investigate , especially in Sherlock's country 😮
🤣
👍👍👍
Lovely video!!! Thank you for take the time to make it and shear it
☺️
Not a problem...
Thank you for watching!

good morning Luis i do work on a 2007 transit my autel dont work like yours the owner just wanted to know why his abs light was on not pay to find out why the machine would not work so i have a snap on plug that in and that connected it was a wheel sensor that sorted every thing ok so if the problem with autel not powering up is the fuse ( thank you for showing where it is) his ESP light is not lit so my guess is the original SAS went down fitted new and out of calibration had a nissan juke which cant be calibrated it had to be taken for alignment and the SAS had to be zeroed then wheels set to spec thank you for the video
If the Autel doesn't connect a snap-on wouldn't connect , or any other scan tool, either. I have seen scan tools that can't communicate with all modules but OBD power and communication are two separate things. Nissan calibration is done by driving the car which is the same as many other cars.
I would like to add, that if the only problem with the obd is the power supply to the tool, it is always possible to power up the tool externally... at least on the J2534 is possible...
👍👍👍
@@beluxauto5968 hi the autel dongle needs power from the dlc to operate and power on no power from the dlc dongle wont communicate the snap on is self powered and don't rely on dlc power so it can communicate through dlc cable and the fact that i have done it proves it works and with the nissan how does it know to self calibrate like luis i got this car at the tail end of a few garages that failed drove it on live data to find fault and whilst driving it straight down the road steering wheel was very slightly turned and live data showed a few degrees of turn the only way to get it back to zero was to adjust alignment
Nicely done as always mate 👍
