I think Peter Bence is still by far underrated, this piece is so genuinely written and his playing is more than excellent 😧💯 he invented a whole new level/genre of playing piano
We look back at Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Beethoven as great composers and pianists, and in the same way far in the future we will look back at Bence as being one of the greats!
I can also hear influences of John Williams in this piece. It’s marvelous.
With all respect to Peter and his amazing compositions, that is highly overexaggerated...

@@leonardmartin6048 Agreed. The surface activity is dazzling but it hides basic harmonic progressions. Which is fine. Nothing wrong with that. But comparing him to Mozart, Chopin or Beethoven is absurd. Apples to oranges. But I do like this musician a lot. I would really love to hear him apply himself to something slow, soft, lush. Something with a beautiful, singing melody and lovely harmonies - just like many slow pieces of Chopin.

I came across this track on FB yesterday and must have listened to it over 20 times by now. This is the greatest modern piano tune I have ever heard. You are the Mozart of our our generation. I didn't know you before this, but I am a fan now. Just amazing. Can't wait to listen to more of your stuff.

May I also suggest, of RUclips contributors, give some listen to Animenz and Cateen, as well as a duo known as Anderson and Rowe. You will be enlightened, educated, and thoroughly entertained!

Love it, Peter. I think this could definitely be classified an Etude. The transitions from being massively powerful, to light and airy, including a little not to French impressionism. I think if people heard this, people who are technically capable to play it, some of them would love to take it on. i think I will go post a ink to one of my favorite channels, CATEEN, where the pianist is Hyato Sumino. I'm quite sure he would 'mess with it' a bit, but that could be quite interesting, too, as he will almost certainly give it a different take, as he is wont to do. Awesome, dude. DO SOME MORE ORIGINAL STUFF, PLEASE!!! :-) Magnificent performance. I'm just a layman level music lover, so if I said anything stupid, please forgive.
