In this video I cook 2 racks of baby back ribs on my 55G gateway drum smoker hot and fast! I load the drum up with some Blues Hog lump charcoal and I use some rubs and sauce from Butcher BBQ. The combination of all those things together really made for some good ribs with some really nice color! So if haven't tried the hot and fast method yet and you have a Gateway or another type of drum or bullet smoker I highly suggest you give these a try! As always I really appreciate you all watching and we will see you in the next video!... Which is hopefully sooner than later 🍻 🍺

Who knew Catfish Hunter had a BBQ channel?
Lolol well now you know.
Nice!
Thanks!
Ribs look great! Been watching a few of your videos and just subscribed.
As you have used the Gateway for a while, have you experienced any of the issues with paint failure (chips, bubbles, peeling) some people mention?
Thanks so much! And I have not had paint issues with either of my 2 gateways. I do keep mine covered and in the garage when not in use.
@@MadHorseBBQ Thanks! Great to hear
Those ribs look delicious! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro I appreciate that!
The membrane NEVER comes up this easy for me..but good looking ribs bro
Haha I get lucky every once in awhile but typically babybacks always come off easy for me.
And thanks!
Ever use B&B Competition Logs as your fuel source?
Is that a 55 gallon drum?
Yes
I found your channel around Father’s Day, I think your last video was before that. I was hoping you didn’t hang it up.
Nope I had some unexpected home remodeling to get done but about done with it so hoping to be back at it.
@@MadHorseBBQ I’m going to do a prime rib on my drum for Christmas, have you done one of those yet?
