Jimmy has such pride for his kids, it is just beautiful. My mum still makes us listen to the tin lids Christmas album every year. She is a die hard Jimmy Barnes fan. My eyes sting with tears EVERY time I hear ....”I tell ya he’s a working class man!” About 3/4 of the way through the song Working Class Man. And since that’s a huge Aussie anthem played on the radio so often...this happens a lot! Tears! EVERYTIME!

I was only watching a re run of Rockwizz today thinking of how many good artists it has on and what a Fab Gameshow ! and if you ever saw it . Plenty of episodes on You Tube , The Person in the Background you mentioned was Peter Luskuim ( Lucky) The house band are Dam Good ,They used to play at our Local Pub Satuday Nights . Have a Listen to the Bull Sisters , Deborah Conway , Tim rogers and Vica Bull , Sarah McLeod and Angry Anderson . Try a Full episode its a Gameshow .

I love to watch Mahalia perform when backing Joe Bonamassa. He has a trio (Mahilia Barnes, Jade MacRae, and Juanita Tippins) of the finest Background singers, arguably, in the business......all from New Zealand. I get chills here watching dad and daughter ripping it up, BIG TIME! Great reaction as usual, TY.

I've watched a lot of rock wiz but didn't see this one coming and I'm amped !!!
When the family were still quite young, the Barnes kids put out a record, "the Tin Lids," meaning "the kids" in Sydney Rhyming Slang.
Elly May and Eliza Jane are also musical....and Mahalia's little ones Ruby and Rosie.... Jimmy has some strong genes going on !

I remember when Mahalia was like 10 and she put her first song out :):) She is AWESOME ! Lots of stars kids sing but they have average vocals - Mahalia is GOOD !! REAL GOOD !!

Rockwiz performances are good to check out. They will either perform one of their own songs in a different style or a cover of a standard. There have been some absolute standouts over the years, with unlikely duets etc. The drummer from Crowded House, Paul Hester's last public appearance was on Rockwiz
