You’re videos are the most honest and realistic I’ve seen on RUclips. You describe the various workouts and what they target yet recognize it’s essentially impossible to solely target one muscle. That makes me trust your knowledge so much.
We aren't going to ignore the fact he's wearing a tool shirt are we? 🤘
🤘🤘
Nope.
Dude this set up makes me feel like I’m in a spy movie 🙌🏻
Easily one of the most informative creators on the platform. Thanks so much for all of your guidance.
Thank you Uncle. 🙌🏼 I’m 100% stronger after watching this.
Hanging leg raises and standing cable crunches twice a week tick all the boxes for me. Potential to progressive overload, hits almost all the abs and I just don't stick to any more direct ab work than that
Bro my six pack seems to be visible but how do I get rid of the lower belly fat? Do I have to cut carbs completely ?
@@kennethdias1147 be in a caloric deficit at the end of the day its about calories in vs calories out
@@kennethdias1147 not carbs but calories
@kenneth dias there is no way to lost on specific spot (depending on genetics somebody carry more bf in belly, ass, legs...), you have to lower bf% in whole body and the way to do that is to be in calorie defecit. find the right balance how low you should go before you are out of energy a whole time
Yes!
Thanks so much for doing these videos. seeing the muscles in this way better helps me understand better how they are intended to work and thus what range of motion is best for optimal results
Ok...well this takes the cake! Eugene was already one of my favorite online fitness gurus but the TOOL shirt just pushed him over the top of the charts! Ride the spiral brotha!!!
Yes!!
Excellent video! I would love to see a similar video about the back and how to properly strengthen it
Best AB breakdown I've seen.
Thank you:)
I absolutely love these instructional anatomy videos! Thank you! X
Glad you like them!
great tutorial. The que for obliques and discussion on breathing is so helpful. They've been mentioned by others, but not explained well. So thanks for bringing the lesson home!
Thank you! 🙏
first of all i think i speak for everyone but i love these videos, i hope we’ll see them for every muscle eventually. and also i wanted to ask how many times a week i should train abs if im looking to reveal them and make them “pop” more
2-3 times per week is great. Make sure your diet is in check to get your body fat down if needed
@@coacheugeneteo thank you very much 🙃
Thanks so much. Very informative video.
Very clear and complete!!!
hell yes been waiting for this one!! good work eugene
Needed this one thanks Eugene!
nice tool shirt! and ive actually been trying to strengthen and fill in my obliqes and the supporting muscles so this is super helpful
Glad to hear it
It’s so much more fun going to the gym and progressing after learning about all these muscles and the directions the fibers run … you the man Eugene!!
Glad to hear itb
I love your channel and I love your tshirt, thanks for all this information!
This is gold!!🏆
love the new style .
literally what i was looking for
thanks coach ily
Excellent breakdown!
This is the perfect time to find this video.
appreciate it uncle, hanging leg and knee raises and cable crunches is where its at :)
As always, great informative video brother🙌
wow! that's an excellent way of explaining!
Bro keep pumping out the content❤️ i come from john meadows channel. Loving your vibe💪
insane quality video thanks a ton
Very useful thanks!
Weighted cable crunches and Axe swings are my go to
Absolute pure quality. You speak very clearly and concise. You are knowledgeable and you instruct very very well. Impressive.
I will certainly check out your App.
I look forward to seeing more quality videos.
Thank you! 🙏
Great video, thanks.
Seriously, you give some of the most educational and useful fitness advice on the web. 🔥🔥🔥 I'm a personal trainer as well, and I exude no ego when learning from those who may be more knowledgable. Teach on Uncle!! 💪🏾💪🏾
?, when it comes to ab training, would you say its best to clock your sets, count by reps, or either? Best regards
Thanks for the information.
I'm going to watch this video repeatedly, in order to really process all of it.
Glad it was helpful!
Great. Starting tomorrow
Awesome video, downloading the app now!
Awesome shirt, Eugene. And great content, as always. Thank you
Thank you! 🙏
Just here to tell you that you are awesome and you do a great job. Keep it coming and wish you all the best my man.
Thank you! 🙏
Love the Tool shirt!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
My pleasure!
Great timing on this one! Leg/Ab day on Monday and I needed a change-up!!! Thanks Eugene!
Enjoy!
Very informative.Appreciate your time and hardwork. I have a very unique issue my abs cramps horribly when I do flexion exercises to train the rectus abdominis. But leg raises and similar exercises to train lower back doesn't trigger cramps much.Static exercises like planks doesn't trigger cramps either. It has been like this for few years now. When I started at age 16 I could do flexion exercises without an issue. Any advise would be appreciated(I am hydrated,my Sodium,Potassium,Calcium and Chlorine serum levels are normal)
Love the Tool shirt mate 🤘
I find hanging hollow body holds are amazing for engaging the abs.
Much better than planks!
Great video man and the integration of the app is definitely the way to go. Any chance of blowing up the action/insertion/innervation on the screen for us nerds out there
When I was a kid I was chubby almost fat, but when I did an abdominal tuck I looked normal only slightly pasty so I got really good at holding a tuck so much so that I distinctly remember holding almost subconsciously during pool or beach related events as a common thing.
THE G.O.A.T!!
Please do a video on running or forms of cardio, common mistakes in form, and running with knee pain from things like patellar tendinosis :)
Great👌👌👌
I literally was wondering when I would get the genesis for my core. Thanks again Eugene!
Enjoy!
This should have 10x the views it does
Thank you! 🙏
Rocking a Tool t-shirt. It's nice, I like
Superb content as usual. That TOOL shirt tho..! 😘😘😘
The visuals are really helpful, good video
Glad you like them!
uncle genie back with some knowledge
Which one is the program you are using to show us the muscle? I loved it!!!!!
Bruhh this shirt may top all of the other's so far!! Clearly a man with good taste in music 🎶
🤘
rocking the tool shirt, hell yeah!
🤘🤘
We approve of your t-shirt choice
Killer shirt. This man has great taste in music
Great video, thank you for the info. Btw, what app are you using, I’d love to get it.
I see Eugene Teo I like the video!
Hey Eugene! Thank you so much for this, love the content and love the fancy technology you got to show us how the muscles work.
A quick question, I do a 20 minute HIIT routine for my abs twice a week (Chris heria's 20 minute work out), when doing ab exercises for time instead of reps, how do you suggest I go about progressive overload? So far, I've primarily worked on form to do so, but I'm getting pretty close to mastering the form, and I know just increasing reps too high doesn't really equate to overload, so should I try to focus on slowing down some of the movements to slow the concentric?
Thx brotha
Yo uncle Eugene!! Here for the algorithm!
Will you also do a series for lower back? And/or other muscles?
seated good mornings are a great and safe way to work out the lower back, check out kneesovertoesguy
Nice Tool t shirt 😉👍🏻
Great and informative video, it was really fun to watch, will you someday share more specific exercises to train directly each portion of the abdominals and how to perform them correctly? Unfortunately, the only 2 exercises that I know for abs are leg raises and any crunch movements in general, but I don't want to end up with a really developed rectus abdominis and underdeveloped obliques and transversus, so it would really come in handy
Standing cable twists are great. Plank position knee to opposite shoulder. Abs vacuums.
@@RDS_Armwrestling thank you a lot
Awesome shirt mate!!
Yes!!
thank you eugene! :)
Thank you! 🙏
Iam doing weighted planks for core stability
I have that same Tool shirt!
Ab-solutely stupendous video! 💪🏽👏🏽🔥
That tool t-shirts ❤❤
Awesome thanks for sharing !
What app is used from the anatomy demonstration.
Your tool shirt collection is very nice
Thank you! 🙏 🤘
Your tshirt 👀
Also, great video as usual
Eugene is weighted oblique training like dumble side bend or farmer carry make wide the stomach area or how to train them as the waistline remain small
What anatomy application is this? Love it.
Two of the best on biomechanics for me is Eugene and Ivan Djuric, and both Australian - represent.
Thank you! 🙏
Nice tool shirt
I remember chris jones covering the rib cages to pelvis motion with his skeleton.
People really be out here making ab routine vids for beginners with 0 spine flexion.
Dope shirt Eugene
🤘🤘
I'd love to know if there's a way to balance ab with lower back training. Love the results I get from hanging leg raises but no matter how much I try and strengthen my lower back to counterbalance this, it always winds up in pain. Love the channel and the great advice.
It's probably not your lower back being "weak" or imbalanced that is causing its pain
Low back pain from hanging leg raises too. Potential causes?
Straight leg situps off a bench...look at how the Chinese Olympic lifters do it for positioning
Deadlifts for Posterior Chain to make it stronger (I don't go crazy with the weight) and making my booty stronger has helped alot with my back pain.
Leg Raises have always hurt me for some reason so I prefer decline reverse curls with bands or weight. Seems to work better for me when I breathe right and supports my back more
Do you like the long Lever posterior pelic tilt plank?
nice
The tool shirt. Ma maaan!
Can you do some more videos about increasing your flexibility using strength training methods. The last video conversation was very interesting… cheers m
Tool shirrttttt ❤️
🤘🤘
Uncle Eugene, what if every time I do ab workouts my back cracks? Is this okay?
A couple of weeks back, I did something to my left shoulder and it just hurts when I more it anyway shape or form. My doctor said it does not look like a rotator cuff tear just an inflamed tendon. Any suggestions on how to speed up the recovery so I can take advantage of your free trial before I sign up whole hog? Thanks a bunch.
Give us more masterclasses and anatomical information 😍
Will do!
Is that an app ur using to visualize the anatomy? Would love to know what it is, could help me with my major
I recently found out there's several ways to flex our abs when posing, how would I practice controlling these muscles in each way?
I take a weird amount of pride in you wearing Tool shirts lol. Tool, A Perfect Circle, Gojira, Lamb Of God, and Black Sabbath are basically the gym jams everytime I go.
Fun story, Adam Jones sat in my lap as a joke at the Tool VIP experience when we sat in for the group photo. I believe he blessed me.
Me too! First thing I noticed!
I heard from some trainer with medical education that plank is good for abs because there are much more "static tissue" in these muscles then "dynamic tissue". She had very big and good abs not even for a woman but generally. Dunno, whether her abs came from the plank though.
Explained with great eloquence , but I have a question that while doing woodchoppers do the feet rotate or they remain fixed , thanks for your content 🙌
Up to you and comfort more than anything else
“Hello, I’m Mike Cheng, welcome to sixpack short cuts.”
What if one has scoliosis surgery and can't physically crunch/bring torso to the hips? I can't do leg raises or do cable crunches...
Bro you need to make more videos of activating certain muscles those changed my life
