The poison spell is green in the Chinese version, is because Chinese laws clamp down on the portrayals of violence, basically censoring certain violent imagery e.g. the skull in the card art is removed.
Really? I always thought it was because red was the color of the Chinese New Year and good luck in China, and they just didn't want something harmful to be associated with that

Having just started playing last year i find how different the spells were pretty neat. Love seeing the history of the cards in this game! Personally I want an evolution for Arrows, It's been my favorite spell since i first started the game and it's still in my main deck to this day.

The next evolution spell is definitely the barbarian barrel he got a tower damage in his stats but it got no use now maybe his evolution can reach the tower and drop an evolved barb, guess we never know
A rocket evolution would be really nice potentially leaving an earthquake effect whilst rocketing down to the ground , i feel like this could make sense but just not too much crown damage as that would definitely be game braking !

I think the next spell evolution needs to be a something iconic to clash royale history like Zap with its record high 98% use rate, and something that is so similar to another card that it gets outshined, or just struggles to find a place right now, and I can think of a few options: Fireball: One of the two starting spells, so iconic that the term "fireballies" was created, yet has struggled to find a place lately, with a 10% usage rate and 45% win rate in grand challenges, that seems to be going down. A very simple concept for a Fireball evolution would be to add a damage over time burn effect to enemies it hits, allowing it to kill fireballies famous for barely surviving Fireball. Snowball: Despite having a respectable 52% win rate in GCs, it also boasts a miniscule 3% usage rate, and the reason is obvious, why use Snowball when you could use a better option like Zap, Log, or even Rage. At first I considered a small freeze, like from Ice Spirit, but that would kill Snowball's synergy in Graveyard decks, so instead I'm suggested it leaves a small area behind where it lands, that even further slows down troops withing it and dealing slight DoT, equalling Evo Zap's total damage, and leaning into what makes snowball unique, the slowdown. Poison: In a similar place as Fireball, and mostly outclassed by the powerful Void spell. I think an interesting, albeit simple idea for a Evo Poison is to just increase the duration, perhaps even by 2x. Of course also coming with a nerf to crown tower damage. A duration increase goes along with Poison's theme of area denial. It of course leads do more damage, slightly less than a Rocket, but with the caveat of being even harder to get max damage on a troop, and having to wait a long time to achieve that damage. I think it has the potential to have a high skill ceiling, for those willing to put in the effort of trying to get the most of it. If that's too simple for a card evolution though, then another idea I have is to give it ramping damage similar to inferno, but less extreme. This would improve it against bulkier cards that previously shrugged off Poison, but still comes with the caveat of keeping the enemy in the Poison for the full duration for max damage. Log: Undoubtedly one of the most iconic spells, even having a deck archetype named after it. One could argue if it even needs an evolution, but with the rise of Arrows, Void, and Evo Zap, it has started to fall behind its usual lead. I think a good idea for a Log evolution is to lean into what makes it unique, the knockback. I think Evo Log could have increased knockback, and hit troops two times as it rolls, knocking back each time. This increases its utility, and allowing it to kill more troops like Archers, Firecracker, and Bomber, similarly to Evo Zap. Lightning: Mostly forgotten about, with a low 3% usage rate and modest 50% win rate. The most obvious idea for an evolution is to give it more lightning strikes, but that seems boring and unbefitting of the usually unique effects of evolutions, so instead my idea is to make the three lightning strikes do 50% of their damage as splash, increasing the utility against cards like Witch or Barbarians, or against clumped pushes, and could potentially allow double dipping damage on the crown tower with a troop placed in the back. Clone: Arguably the 2nd worst spell in the game, only beaten by Goblin Curse (which doesn't need an evo, it needs a straight up buff) I think what an evo could do is give the clones a 1hp shield, so that they cannot just be trivialized with most spells, also unironically making cloned swarms better than their uncloned counterpart.
I think fireball could be the next spell evolution, one cool idea I have is making split into 4 smaller fireballs after impact, one going north, one south, one was and the final one west. This could make it a challenge to use the Evo correctly, but also rewarding when you managed to hit all projectiles
i hope the mirror spell gets the next evo, not really sure what it could be but if it’s something unique it can be really cool and potentially change the game maybe adding a defensive cycle archetype that uses mirror to defend cheaply with troops
hated the nerfing of spells, it takes so long to spell cycle people out. now i just have to watch everything fight each other for another minute or so lol.
i think eq needs the next evo bc it has kinda been falling off after void was added. Sure hog eq still exists but you can replace it with void and still do well if not even better

I thought of a cool card idea where every time it hits it does half the health of that troop so for example it would be good against tanks for the first shot but as the tanks health decreases the less damage as it only does half per shot, this would mean it would take a few shots to kill skeletons but could be useful to do massive shots when the troop has more health
+50% damage amplification would not mean double damage. If a troop took 100 damage, they would take 150 inside the radius. A doubling of damage would require a +100% damage amplification.
Maybe the next evo freeze have some frostbite effect, damage per second (like poison) during the freeze duration and reducing movement and attack speed, also damage per hit for a few seconds after the freeze duration ends
Arrows will be interesting to see as an evolution. After 2 card cycles. Dropping the first row of arrows at the edges, the second closer to the center and the third exactly in center. Increase its damage by 15-20% on troops and buildings, but only 5% on the royal towers. Maybe make a reference on movie “300” in its card description.

Clone Evo? Soul heal or whatever, if the clone dies the main body absorbs the "spirit" of it and heals a small amount? So like, killing the clone first heals the main enemy by a small amount, to make it work on all troops, do a set number + % heal, soo. Idk (spitballing) 100 + 10% health? Skeles and minions heal to full, all big bois get a small heal

Goblin curse Goblin curse is a really co concept but it has been nerfed to the ground a goblin curse evo could have a larger radius or spawn goblin cage goblins or be like the super goblin rocket card

Next evo: Clone In China Poison is named Damage Potion because there can not be anything related to death. If you take a look there are a lot of things censored about skeletons and similar 😋

A rage that could heal would just get boring to fight as it basically just makes your units survive more interactions. Some effect to either boost the rage or anything else associated with it would compliment the card better. Maybe raged cards could deal more damage at half health to encourage you to use it more aggressively and let the opponent have something to anticipate better. Kind of like how SC removed the damage boost the Evo knight gained, since the OG knight was mainly just a 3 elixir tank so giving it more damage didn’t complement the card as much as the resistant shield since people don’t normally use the Knight for its damage. I hope you can see my reasoning in this response since this is how SC designs its evolutions ever since they rolled out the nerfs to the general stat buffs the Evo’s got. A 10% health and damage boost was less fun than the added effect said cards would get.
Royal delivery. It is underused, and would spawn an evo recruit, and make it do knockback too, maybe. Its an underused spell though. Edit, I came up with this idea on my own, then saw the same idea later
As a chinese i can confirm that the poison is green just because of censorship of violence and blood since the game doesnt have age restriction. U can still play the game even tho u are under 18 but for limit of time smt like 90 minutes a day and cant play from 10pm to 8am (the normal time kids go to sleep). Also the chinese server are prettry much death since the lack of update and the change of levels gap (1lv=20% more stasts instead of 10%) and a lot of pro like lciop just use VPN to play in the normal server.
Next evo should be miner. Doing damage on spawn and insta killing everything, effectively finishing the game everytime someone plays it 🙏 Might sound a bit weak, any suggestions to make it more powerful?
Arrows imo as they are overall a pretty bland spell so if they added an evo for it, it would be much more unique (idea 1 firing in 5 bursts instead of 3. Idea 2 slowing the units after hitting them and giving them a sort of bleeding effect [that would kill goblins in its duration] but only firing in 2 bursts)

i still find it crazy that when zap was first added it didnt stun i feel like its pretty self explanatory for something that zaps to stun
I'm pretty sure it was before the stun effect wasnt introduced yet
And tesla to this day doesn't stunt anything

As a chinese i can confirm that the poison is green just because of censorship of violence and blood since the game doesnt have age restriction. U can still play the game even tho u are under 18 but for limit of time smt like 90 minutes a day and cant play from 10pm to 8am (the normal time kids go to sleep). Also the chinese server are prettry much death since the lack of update and the change of levels gap (1lv=20% more stasts instead of 10%) and a lot of pro like lciop just use VPN to play in the normal server.
Next evo should be miner. Doing damage on spawn and insta killing everything, effectively finishing the game everytime someone plays it 🙏 Might sound a bit weak, any suggestions to make it more powerful?

If there is a spell for an evolution, I would choose Lightning for it.
Arrows imo as they are overall a pretty bland spell so if they added an evo for it, it would be much more unique (idea 1 firing in 5 bursts instead of 3. Idea 2 slowing the units after hitting them and giving them a sort of bleeding effect [that would kill goblins in its duration] but only firing in 2 bursts)
i think the next spell that will get evo is the least used spell rn so it will be poison in my opinion
