The biggest thing Capcom needs to add in Dragon's Dogma 2 (if they ever make it) is a modding toolkit like the one Skyrim has. From what I've heard, modding DDDA is almost impossible and it's the reason why almost every mod is just some minor retexture or a reworking of certain abilities instead of full fledged new additions to the game. Still amazed at what people have been able to do under such limitations though, especially with the greatsword MAX mod.
I can't stop playing this game over and over (making the story perfectly fitting) It has something special that I couldn't find in any game. The story is tied to the gameplay in a way not many games can replicate. I love japanese people take on medieval settings.

Completed all the quests from the first city, ended up in the 2nd City. Realized that I can change vocations and looked into this just to find out that the best start for an Assassin is to begin as a Fighter not Strider, restarted the game. 5th Attempt: played the tutorial, rushed to reach the 2nd city, got there right as I level to 10 Fighter, all was good until I noticed that all the quests from the first city got canceled, restarted the game. Thanks, this is one of my favorite games. This is one of the few games that has a spirit. Yes, it’s the spirit. Not to mention the quality and sophistication of the entire gaming system. Fact: I have never recorded a single freeze or other serious "bug" or "glitch" in this game. Sometimes it slows down a little, but it's my weak computer system to blame and not the engine / platform of this wonderful game. Most of all I like the mod for a clean and realistic body of a character, more precisely a female character) I think there is no need to explain why))
Owed Dragons Dogma for a long time on the xbox one but only recently got into it. Man what an excellent game! Just bought the pc version. Now I'm going to "import" my character over to it using the cheat menu mod!
Saw this on sale for PS4... wanted to buy it for the convenience of playing in my living room. After seeing this, I went back to my old copy of this game on my PC, installed the mods and man... it looks good. I never had success with many ENBs, but this is fantastic. I don't like merging arc files to get all of the mods to work together... I can figure it out... just not sure it's worth my time. Also... where do I get a character looking like yours!
Cheers Luke, that's great to hear - the ENB makes a big difference. The character is using a modded armor set from Nexus called: Witch Blade Indspired Armor Set.
New in DDDA, quick question: is there any mod/way to have multiple saves (arisens) without having to delete an entire save? I know is related to the pawn system, but I really want to have different characters without needing another game copy...
Hey man, you can try this Save manager: www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/40 I just do it manually on my pc. I have copies of my saves in different folders. This is the path to find your game save: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\different number for you \different number for you emote

@Hi_Nu Ver 0 Zero_Tester No, modability on consoles is virtually non-existent, a few games on modern and next-gen consoles (ps4, XboxOne, ps5, whatever the hell they call the new xbox) have some modability, but even then is incredibly limited. Hello. I bought the game and have installed the mods you recommended. Unfortunately the game is completely unplayable. Everything is so dark I can barely see a thing. When I finally made it outside the horizon is all fuzzy. Even in the cut scenes everything is rediculously dark. I have tried to follow the instructions for each mod carefully. Can you offer any help?
That's the beauty of modding, unless you've backed up the files, that's the price to pay for an old game to look like nextgen games. Either its unplayable and needs reinstalling and starting from scratch, or the time spent would be worth it. You might want to pay attention you're ENB installation (only copy paste the d3d9.dll to your main game directory from the link then copy paste the files needed from the nexus mod, pre requisites: in game DOF off, HDR High) , or.. you're using an AMD card? which i think there's a different kind of "hook" to be installed. Or maybe your monitor contrast settings? or windows update or missing a .NET file needs to be installed. Sometimes the simplest thing can screw you over and over. Try adding 1 mod at a time and test run it before adding more mods.
@@arleedstanto I don’t have an amd card. I only copied the d3d9.dll file. I followed all of wickfuts settings and instructions as far as so know. I’m pretty sure that is the one that is messing up but I don’t know why. I will try one by one but I just wondered if it was a common thing and how good the game is going to look without the key mod to make it look good
WickfutENB to me is too dark in the night and in the dungeon, even with a lantern it's very dark. Also I wonder what body texture do you use in the video? cuz LDK only has a female cleaner face but not body.

Any other ENB you can recommend? WickFut's account is deleted so the mod isn't on the site anymore.

@@Carmadon100 yup, it's a light mod
I like literally everything about dragons dogma EXCEPT the ending.

How do mods work with other players wanting to rent your pawn? lets say your pawn is wearing some modded armor/weapons are they basically just naked for the unmodded player?
Hi, I just found your channel, great content! I was wondering... The walking animation of your character at the beginning of the video looks beautiful and smooth to me. Is it a modded stance/posture or the vanilla one? In case it's vanilla, can you tell me which setting is it? Thanks in advance.
Hey cheers man! The sliders and walking animation are all vanilla, sadly I don't remember this particular build - it was on my old pc.
can you install everything using the nexus mod manager?
esque I don't understand anything at all when I see so many loose files I downloaded everything and it is possible using the nexus mod manager and they only load me 3 mods out of all there are
I tried the ENB but when I run the game it works but when I turn the camera sometimes it turns off the effects it's strange and idk what is wrong.... please help?
Clean body eliminates all the wrinkles on the face and reduces realism. It's not what I expected.
I used to play this game all the time on the 360 and thinking about getting it for my xbox one s. Can i get mods on console. If yes how would i do that?
Hey man, it is currently only possible to get mods for Dogma on pc.
@@The_Rift oh ok. Thx
Yeah, well said man. The spirit of Dogma is strong, and so is the game mechanics and visuals. Truly a gem.

Always praised this game, only played on PS4 and that's limited but still a heck of a game. Always wonder why it's not moded to the level of Skyrim.
did armor you use in the video modded or that is vanilla armor? what mod is that, I'm thinking about buying this game
Owed Dragons Dogma for a long time on the xbox one but only recently got into it. Man what an excellent game! Just bought the pc version. Now I'm going to "import" my character over to it using the cheat menu mod!
That greatsword one... I may be downloading that soon.
Now that DD2 has FINALLY been announced... could we get a refresh on this with updated modlist, pre-packed arc files and such?
Yep, great idea for a vid man.
The character is using a modded armor set from Nexus called:
Witch Blade Indspired Armor Set.

New in DDDA, quick question: is there any mod/way to have multiple saves (arisens) without having to delete an entire save? I know is related to the pawn system, but I really want to have different characters without needing another game copy...
Hey man, you can try this Save manager: www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/40
I just do it manually on my pc. I have copies of my saves in different folders.
This is the path to find your game save: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\different number for you \different number for you

@@The_Rift THANK YOU for the quick answer. This game is awesome, can't wait to try all vocations
Cheers man, enjoy Dogma!
Is there a mod that fixes some of the issues with some classes like fighter and warrior having no range ability? Like maybe give a blade beam skill.
I wish we had something like that.
@@The_Rift guess that answers my question. Heres hoping DD2 will give the pure melees more range options. Warrior honestly needs more all around. I never had fun playing it. Really was hoping back in the day with the guts armor we could full on go berserk armor rage mode but nah slow bonks.

But my god was I an ignorant teenager.
I have NOT stopped playing it since I bought it a couple of weeks ago.
My entire quarantine has been a blast because of this game.
I don’t want it to end just so I can keep playing.
Love to hear that man, and don't worry - even when it ends you still have a very different endgame, ng+ and other vocations to try out ✊
@Hi_Nu Ver 0 Zero_Tester No, modability on consoles is virtually non-existent, a few games on modern and next-gen consoles (ps4, XboxOne, ps5, whatever the hell they call the new xbox) have some modability, but even then is incredibly limited. In the case of last gen consoles like the xbox360, you are completely SOL.
is it possible to play with all the textures/landscapes/lights mods in the same time?
I wish we can play dragon’s dogma in dungeons and dragons world
I wish we could play dragons dogma online

Hey man, happy to hear that :)
You can use all these together, I'm using them without problems.
@@The_Rift gonna check them thnx again :)
I really like this modlist. Could you possibly upload your files as a single folder? That way someone with a fresh game could just drag and drop in order to get the full list.
Cheers Hikurac, that could be done - but l think it's best if people download and credit the different mods directly on Nexus.
Some mods use the same name and go in the same folder how would I both at the same time if they'll end up overwriting each other?
Yeah, it's not possible to have to mods altering the same file at the same time. Make sure to create backups.
I have tried and tried to successfully mid this game, and failed every time. Barely managing to salvage my game even with proper safety precautions and multiple back ups of files. Trying to combine multiple ARC main files is crazy difficult, at least for me. I only have 1 mod running currently and it's pretty nice, however I had dreams of my game being better. There are so many of mods I want to use, but can't figure out how to properly fuse multiple ARC main files together without having disastrous repercussions. I've watched multiple videos on how to do it and scrolled through quite a few forums.
Any help from anyone very knowledgeable would be greatly appreciated.
That armor ur character is wearing (that looks almost topless) is it a mod? Or can you actually get it in-game?
Yep, this is the mod I was using: www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/165
Are there no private servers based on the Japanese mmorpg of DD?
No, however there are a team of volunteers that are trying to work on it in the World Difficulty server
Interesting video, well done ✌
but are these last two mods compatible or don't they work together?
when i'm modding I cant seem to get Dinput8.DLL and the ENBseries to hook correctly, only get a black screen.
works fine here, just tested it. Update drivers, directx, possibly turn off any background things with a GUI like steam overlay etc
is there not a mod that combines all mods in 1? it's such a hassle to download and install multiple different mods

I will try one by one but I just wondered if it was a common thing and how good the game is going to look without the key mod to make it look good
will there be fps drop if I install this mods... especially 1 and 2
WickfutENB to me is too dark in the night and in the dungeon, even with a lantern it's very dark. Also I wonder what body texture do you use in the video? cuz LDK only has a female cleaner face but not body.
No, I definitely have a cleaner body texture. The face texture was my very first mod attempt so I left it up for those who liked it. Here's the link to the full body, including face textures:
www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/472
The V4 is lighter at night than the base game. You have your GPU or monitor settings incorrectly set up
I can confirm that V4 give great visibility at night, even without the lantern.

Oh Man, seeking for some new Skyrim mods and your Video pops up to. The Reason why I never finished this obviously great game were exactly the 10 reasons/mods from your Video! I tried it 2 times over the last years, anytime I quit cause of all the uglyness from the games Textures. And in first my Character and second the world Textures. Holy shit what happens now in this game with those awesome mods?! Looks like close to an current gen game. I already noticed some month ago there is a Texture overhaul for the game but that didn´t make me to move on Nexus. To see these mods now in your Video changes my mind and I will give the game a third go. The latest push to it was how your character skin and movement look like. hahaha :-)
Gone these days of ugly character creating. And the Combat System seems to be burner now too. Well, thanks for your Video, liked and sub to your channel! Keep up your work for one of the most underrated games ever.
Love to hear that my man, and thank you. Dogma is def a hidden gem, these mods just wipes off the dirt;)
