Headers on that took me 3 days so when I watch Mark do stuff It reminds me of me. Drilling holes in my 500 for my cage was kinda scary too and again I give you guys cred for doing the same kind of things.

I may be wrong, but I'm not convinced that hot fuel rails were the problem. My GT350 seems to get very hot under the hood, and there's no fuel rail insulation. My '06 GT didn't have any either.
after some more instagram consultation, starting to think the pumps enter a fail safe mode after the rails heat up and the plumbing of the return line needs to be changed up to avoid that. might be less of a vapor lock issue and more of a pump overheating issue, especially since they are sitting very close to eachother in the oem style fuel hat
but you are right, as the oem insulation didn't seem to do jack lol

@@Rogue5.0 nah, just save up for the quality parts. You only get one chance to think “you fixed it” and it starts acting up at 7500rpm WOT. Your already at the limit of the bottom end as is, you really wanna play around with a budget fuel system ontop of that? I have a 14’ with a Paxton 3.6 pulley, trust me it’s cheaper to buy a quality fuel system than a new engine.
