- Exhaust note of a 2019 Mustang GT Performance Pack with Borla ATAK catback exhaust. Install was very easy and the overall sound is very high quality. No drone what so ever. It can be a touch too loud at times when cold starting in an inclosed area or revs in a parking garage.

In australia my active exhaust sounds same on racetrack and normal. Is that with others in australia too? For me its. Either silent or all other modes sound same

i opted for a set of "ford performance by borla-sport axelbacks"thru the factory resonator,i could have easily gotten away with the "extremes axelbacks" with the resi intact...all i really wanted was those gloss black tips...but it also sounds great(my wife don't even know i changed mufflers,lol)
I have the active exhaust thing. It sounds great. Not sure if the aftermarket stuff is better. The only thing I would like is for the setting to stay at sport or track all the time, rather than me having to reset it every day.

I have the active exhaust too. It's definitely annoying but it's because of the way automotive noise regulations work the car is tested how it starts. Check out a borla switchfire resonator delete. That's what I got with stock everything else. It's not only quieter in quiet mode but sounds 10x better in sport or track. Oh and most importantly no drone at all!
Just so you know you can have the valves open and there's a fuse you can pull to have those valves constantly be open. Just Google it and there's ways to do it.
@@spiceytaco95 nah definitely ways around it but i use quiet start lol for my job sometimes i'm on call and have to get up at late/early hours of the day. sometimes i'll get up 1am-4am for work so it's useful

The 2019 and newer mustangs come stock with rev match downshifts you can turn on and off.

No drone. And its not to loud when cruising but its obviously back there
I just got my mustang now i dont know nun abt cars i just always loved mustangs the factory exhaust sounds great but i want some thing that roars while i drive any solutions 2020 mustang gt 10 speed automatic
If you want something loud then I recommend borla atak. But if you want something that sounds good but not to loud then borla “S Type” -my opinion

@@m2savage210 borla atak Catback exhaust is what i have. just look at the catback ones. if you buy exhaust new it will come with everything you need if thats what your asking.

Its hard to decide cause they sound so close. I found the Borlas on sale so that's why I went the cheaper route. both are great imo
