Holy shit! I went to school on Montgomery rd a few mins from the agricultural center. I have a creepy story about that place. Not only was it always creepy to drive through there even during thr day. But one Christmas eve night my mother, father, my sister, and myself were driving home to Columbia from my grandmother's house through the center. Well as we were going through, we came around a bend where a whole slew of cow were running across the road as if to get away from something. My father slowed down safely because he was always a great driver. Well werre sitting there in his truck all fitting across the single bench seat watching which seemed to be countless amount of cows running across the road. Well we see headlights start coming from a distance and they didn't seem to be slowing down at all, they seemed to be speeding up like they were running from something. As they came around the bend my dad started flashing his high beams and honking his horn because the car didn't seem to notice the hundreds of cows then we knew it was gonna happen. My mother tried to close my eyes but I brushed her hand away and witnessed this car plow into like 7 or 8 cows, some of them skidding across the road and dying instantly, some with broken legs trying to get up and run away. It was a terrible thing to see as a kid. Well my dad got out to go over to the car and check on the people. It was an old couple that seemed to be in delirium and had no idea they just killed 3 cows and jlseemed terrified. Well this is back before cell phones in the mid 90s. Because my dad's truck was a 94 Ford ranger. We had to drive a few miles bCk to route 1 to a gas station to call the police. After we called we drove back and the car was completely gone with no trace of the car whatsoever. No debris no nothing. Just the 3 dead cows still in the road while all the running cows had now vanished. The night was dead silent, like no sounds whatsoever it was so eerie and creepy. My dad had major balls to get out of the truck again and check around the area for wreckage or the couple. We found nothing. We left shortly after before the police showed up because my father didn't want to come off crazy reporting a crash that didn't seem to happen but we all saw it happen. I completely forgot about that night until I read your comment and it all came rushing back to me.
Was it a 20 and back conscription, jump gate, portal, how did ya get there ? I understand there are several "portals" on Mars to different "realities". A bit like what CERN will probably do to Earth.
