You can see George Martin just lighting up when Dhani mentioned the Indian type of counting in. Must be like a time capsule having a young Harrison next to him
This is amazing. I can’t believe these tapes were still around. The bottom line is Beatles we’re 4 of the most talented guys in the industry ever . Harrison’s son sounds so much like George it’s hard to believe.
Jeff Naslund Keith Richards says he looks like George. He says he keeps on accidentally calling him George. Did you know George was in Keith’s house just before the police raided it for drugs in 1967 and they apparently waited for George to leave because they didn’t want the Beatles involved.
It is called I assume mixture getting to perfection. Less flaws, more accuracy in life but nevertheless...nothing like the original; they always comes with a few flaws....that makes an original.

Tambien esta la posibilidad de que sea algo postumo, o en un homenaje especial. El chiste es sacar varo xD
AMEN TO THAT!!!! At the concert for George Dhani looked EXACTLY like George did when The Beatles first appeared on TV ED SULLIVAN SHOW, I almost fainted!
Keith Richards mentioned a time when he was chatting with Dhani, who is "The spitting image of his father. I kept calling him George." *Spitting image has to do with military men shining their shoes in such a way as you could see your reflection in the leather.
It would have been cool to have released the known version on the LP and included the Telecaster solo on the single version or as a B-side or something equally accessible. I love it!
Sounds to me like George was just noodling away during an overdub not realising the tape was running. A happy accident that just gives added depth to the recording process back in the day.
What an amazing forgotten rift left off of one of the greatest songs ever written and recorded by The Beatles. There is no doubt that this rarity certainly should be included as a unique unreleased track on any other Beatle compilations.

No pude evitar soltar una lágrima al ver y escuchar esto.
Notice it has the same tone and feel to the other guitar parts on the second half of Abbey Road. For example, lead guitar parts of “You Never Give Me Your Money”, “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window” and “The End”. The second half of Abbey Road starts with this song and then contains a continuous medley to the end, but everyone always argues whether the start of the medley is “Because” or “You Never Give Me Your Money”. However, “Here comes the Sun” always seem left out because it feels like a standalone song, (although it contains lyrical elements to another song on the medley: “Sun King”). I always believed they wanted the whole second side of Abbey Road to flow continuous, including “Here Comes The Sun”, and this may be proof of the missing link.

With the way that solo sounds, one might be inclined to think that they had invited Clapton back again for the session! It sounds so Clapton, especially on that final bar where George goes down the scale.
Clapton is way better than George on lead guitar, this is not even close to Claptons' capabilies or his sound... Actually i get why this solo did not make it to the final mix, it wasn't that great. Sorry to break your Beatlemania
Ludvig Eklof You're just stating something obvious, I mean wtf Clapton is a bluesman Harrison is a Beatle, everyone knows that?. That being said George hardly played solos but his stuff was definitely melodical.
that whistle-synth sound is so effin' beautiful; I just got a pristine original '69 vinyl pressing and its place in the original mix was so lush and powerful. Newfound respect for a song I thought I'd long grown tired of hearing.
What an endearing gesture from George Martin, by identifying on the spot, that Danhi has that touch just like his father. An extraordinary arranger like Martin repairs in this little compass a direct link with George.

Giles is not like his father! George was actually a god at mixing and remastering. Giles just sucks at it.
I got chills when Dhani described the tehi. He DID sound exactly like his father.
Even his cadence... so like George. Almost eerie.
I like the calm version, but that guitar riff is beatiful

Just as much of a class act like George :)
Dhani Harrison with George Martin and his son Giles Martin. Would’ve been nice to have that in the description.
Wow, i didnt know who the other one was! Respect
Do you know if this clip is from a longer documentary or "making of" special? I would love to see more!!
Scott Roberts Great question! I’d love to see the entire documentary as well. I’ll search youtube and see if I can find it. I’ll post it if I do. 😊
I got that by the end. But at first I thought Bernie Sanders was in the middle. Too many political ads in the States now.
*Dhani
someone cut some onions when he said "you've got it, your like your father"
Damn it.....yeah that was so rad.
Yes, that's right!
But not a glass onion
How beautiful.
His son is a nobody, a looser
George once said of Dhani, “he looks more like George than I do”
Jeff Naslund Keith Richards says he looks like George. He says he keeps on accidentally calling him George. Did you know George was in Keith’s house just before the police raided it for drugs in 1967 and they apparently waited for George to leave because they didn’t want the Beatles involved.
@@alexbowman7582 I knew that...true story indeed
Only George could come up with that remark. He had such a wonderfully creative mind

That was lovely, Dhani is really into music and understands his dad's compositions. George Martin is so cool.
5th Beatle is gone
Enough of this pathetic over the top adulation.......as a matter of fact my dog used to play with George Martin's dog in Highbury Park. No big deal.
Esto me enternece. Qué lindo!!!

Just a magical song, production and performance. And I love Ringo's performance. The perfect fills at the appropriate time.

Short and sweet guitar solo. It fits the song perfectly. They should have left it in.
But it did not meaning that it did not fit that perfectly. Beatles + Martin had it *always* right
