Great question. In short I often start with yellow as it’s a week light colour and I use it to map out the first wash (doesn’t feel like heavy commitment then)...yellows great because depending on what you want you can add reds, earth colours n oranges to it or add blues and turquoise’s to get some greens :) Different if you want more helped etc in under colours, not true can’t here. In this painting I wanted warm orangey reds in both the fur and stripes so I started yellow then reds n oranges thrown in :) Dues that help at all?:) T
