Here's the video from my first day of cycling in Alaska during my bike tour in the state in October of 2016. The Johnson family cycled with me for the first couple hours of the day and then I was left on my own - at which time I cycled for another hour or so and then made camp in the forest alongside the Glennallen Highway. It was pretty scary camping in Alaska, all by myself, in the middle of the forest, in the freezing cold... and knowing that there were bears all around me! All I could think of was the bears!
