I noticed on her last two strings that she is lowering her head to see the sights rather than raising the gun to eye level. This may be causing her to look thru the upper portion of her spectacle lenses, which can (and usually does) cause distortion. If she changes her presentation to raising the gun up to eye level as opposed to scrunching her head down, she should had a better view through her spectacle lenses. Just a thought. L-670
She has been such a great student. Very smart and really is interested in being as good as she can. Makes my job very easy!! Thanks for viewing and the words of encouragement. I know she will appreciate it.
I used this to learn a red dot try turning down helps too. Also she might be both eye dominant one being far other more near. For longer range I have always switched to other eye just by habit.
I have no doubt the red dot sight is very useful, and partially blocking the sight helps. I do wonder if for some people, especially myself being in my early 60s and wearing corrective lenses for astigmatism and nearsightedness, going with factory or other "plain" sights might be the answer. Regardless, your vid was very informative, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
You are such a great trainer.
From begin to now she handles the firearm much better ,good job mom

Rodney, you missed your calling, you should have been a teacher, you are really good at explaining things.

I have shot with a red dot on a 22 semi automatic pistol,at 100yds consistently hitting a 6 inch metal gong, I was using a rest.
Very interesting, I've seen it done in another video & surprised it actually works
