Came for the review, stayed for the RUclipsr…
Love this guy, and this is an absolutely great review.
After watching this, I decided to buy an A20 for my G48, they really seem very nice!

I am a big fan of GOWUTAR A20 RMR GREEN DOT myself. There are many reviews of it and had done very well for handgun or carbine. I picked one up at the "A" store for $82 including shipping and tax. The company web page has a discount code.

I have one in my cart and have two Bushnell and one Tasco red dots on my shotguns. Think I'll go ahead and put this on another shotgun for slugs, which is my main ammo.

I have one on my canik 9mm. It works wonderfully. I got it for my birthday and never heard of it and thought it was one of those cheap red dot for 50 bucks. I am pleased to say it is not and works well. It is well made and the shake awake works perfect. The only issue i had was during a day at the range i would have liked to see a bit more brightness out of the red dot. But to add. It was mid day and very bright outside. I could see the red dot I just wish it was a bit brighter. Lol. I'm definitely not a red dot expert. Great video. Thank you..

    I run the A17 RMSc brother on my S&W M&P 5.7.
The optic works very reliable and holds 0 reliable . 25 yds is my limit. I carry my 5.7 and so far the optic takes the every day beating without loss of quality.
Given the price poiint and feature set you get like shake awake, this optic works very well for me. I recommend it

Will this hold zero on a 12 gauge with slugs?

also i must say i highly respect your presentation and attitude toward budget optics like this. your video style kind of reminds me of Paul Harrel (a firearms instructor with great videos on youtube), i love that you get right to the point and focus on what matters most, reliability and efficiency. Thanks for helping me make up my mind about these red dots, i've researched so many of these ones found on amazon since i'm on a tight budget and most forums online tend to hop on the bashing bandwagon if you ask questions about X budget brand thats not your widely known names like holosun or primary arms. I get that those are also great quality optics but those prices make more budget minded people like me hesitate on purchasing. Thanks for the great in depth review!

Great review. Was the rmr mount conundrum rectified? Looks like a solid choice for my 20ga. Turkey gun with a meadow creek rib mount.

Very informative, sir. Thank you very much! Between the A20 and the HHC-3C of Gowutar, which one would you prefer for a pistol, if you've put both through their paces?

i was just about to buy a cyelee wolf0 but then i saw this red dot and thought the name was kind of silly but it was a bit cheaper so i googled it real quick and started noticing the good review videos and came across yours. i think i'm pretty much sold on this one, it has a higher waterproof and shockproof rating than that wolf0 and its on sale for 98 bucks! so glad i decided to look into this, the name could be better but the important thing is how it performs and from the looks of your great review it seems like a perfect candidate for an offset sight on my 308!

I like that you actually put a lot of rounds through the gun, & do a drop test. The number of "reviews" on the net & YT that are actuall previews is disturbing. And you have the people who fire a few rounds at say SHOT Show, or a company sponsored event, and declare the product worthy.
If you happen to read this, what affordable optic(s) would you recommend for a first time AR platform 223/5.56 shooter?

I have had a-lot of success with the Sig Romeo Product Line. They aren't super expensive, just a no frills everyday workhorse. Obviously at the top of the food chain is EO Tech, but for starting out, Sig is a good way to go. Thanks for viewing and good luck.

@@AmmoMartThanks for responding. The Romeo 5 is on my short list. Some people have said the TRS25 is a good starter red dot, simple, reliable, & affordable.
