Thank you guys. I’ve been going insane over the saved by only grace and faith without works. Jesus wouldn’t have said to be baptized if he didn’t mean for us to do it. I couldn’t find how to say that without adding my own words. I’d love to see more of this type of videos. The no works teaching is causing people to think it’s alright to sin without consequence. Bless you guys. 🙏😃

In this event, there are three persons involved in baptism, the patient (person being baptized), the anesthesiologist (the person baptizing) and the heart surgeon (Dr. Jesus). The anesthesiologist takes you under and the heart surgeon replaces or fully repairs your heart. Once over, the anesthesiologist (the person baptizing) brings you up. The real work is done by Dr. Jesus. The patient did nothing.

I have gotten the Holy Spirit and wasn't baptized. The church said that you don't have to be baptized because you are saved by grace through faith

We are saved by grace through faith but true saving faith is our faith in action through obedience to the keys to the kingdom of heaven that Jesus gave Peter which he spoke in Acts 2:38.( Matt.16:19).
Look at the conversion of Paul/Saul ( Acts ch.9:1-9).
Even though he had spoken with Jesus and was in repentance for three days, God sent Ananias to him, who said to him," Why tarriest thou( What are you waiting for)
" Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins calling on the name of the Lord"( Acts 22:16).
What was he to call on the name of the Lord for after he came out of the baptismal waters ? The Holy Spirit.
Lastly, there are only three instances in scripture to where we are told of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what happened when they recieved( Acts ch.2,10,and ch.19).
In each instance, the first thing that happened was that they spoke in " tongues".

    Saved by Good Works”
Mathew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven”
Romans 2:6-7 “For he will render every man according to his works.”
“Eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality through perseverance in good works.”
Romans 2:13 “For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified”
Matthew 25:32-46 Saved by Good Works
32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats,
33 and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left.
    34 Then the King will say to those at his right hand, 'Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
37 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink?
38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee?
39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?'
40 And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'
41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 👈😳
42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'
44 Then they also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee?'
45 Then he will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.'
46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life
😳👉Jesus SAVED Tabitha who was ”Full of Good Works and Acts of Charity” through the hands of Peter! 👈😳
Acts 9:36-41 “Now there was at Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which means Dorcas. She was FULL OF GOOD WORKS AND CHARITY!”
“In those days she fell sick and died; and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.”
“Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him entreating him, "Please come to us without delay."
“So Peter rose and went with them. And when he had come, they took him to the upper room. All the widows stood beside him weeping, and showing tunics and other garments which Dorcas made while she was with them.”
“But Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed; then turning to the body he said, "Tabitha, rise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.”
“And he gave her his hand and lifted her up. Then calling the saints and widows he presented her alive. “ “calling the Saints?” 👈😳
John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice.”
“and will come out, those who have done good deeds to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked deeds to the resurrection of condemnation.
James 2:24 “You see that a Man is saved by works and NOT by faith alone.”
Galatians 6: 7-8 “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.”

Faith without works is dead…if we are saved through faith, then the “work” is being baptized to show your faith and repentance…because faith with out works is dead? Idk just a thought. Im learning and trying to teach that we need to be baptized

One good thing these men do is they examine and respond to the objections to baptism in Jesus's name involvement in being saved.
You don't normally see videos on RUclips where a "by grace alone through faith alone" proponent examines and responds to challenges to their ideas on baptism.
"We are here responding to objections made against baptism being a public declaration of..."
"We are here responding to objections made against baptism being a Christian's first act obedience..."
"We are here responding to objections made against the thief on the cross argument... They say the thief on the cross, etc. is not a valid argument against baptism's involvement in being saved because..."
Often, proponents of these arguments present them as case closed.
The men in this video are willing to address challenges to their beliefs.

I'm deeply confused by this because Roman 10:9 says "If you declare with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED." From my study it seems misleading to say that you must be baptized in order to be saved.

To the apostles of Christ, it seems clear that they understood faith, repentance, confession and baptism were all wrapped together in "obeying the gospel" and prerequisites to being added to the Lord's body / kingdom.

I agree. Baptism cannot save us. It is an outward sign of an inner change. We do it as an act of obedience. I wonder if these guys believe in infant baptism.

@@Maranatha7557Christ commanded for repentance and baptism to complete the plan of salvation of our souls in Mark 16:16. And no infant baptism is unscriptural, infants are born sinless, and anyone who has not reached the age of accountability cannot be baptized if they dont have the complete understanding of right and wrong.

The grave mistake the protestant reformers made was to confuse the "works" of the catholics to somehow earn salvation with acts of obedience in order to recieve, from God.
The word "recieve" in the original Greek means " to take hold of".
Also many ttimes in the scriptures where we read that one must believe " on" or " in" the Lord in order to be saved the Greek word is eis which means"into".

Faith is a gift of God , thats why its his work, for me i simply asked God to show himself to me because i was so desperate and depress of my life and he did, and after that he guided me to the Bible and HE gave me faith , i didnt choose to have faith i simply had Faith because he gave me this faith and i didnt had to do anything of myself, it was HIS WORK HIS GIFT, now to be baptized is something i wanted to do for him and he confirmed it to me by saying he wanted to meet me in the water , but by no means water baptism is his work , its mine, i choose to DO it ! I took the appointement , i went there in car , i prepared myself and i went into the water with the pastor. God didnt do all of these, i did , in contrast of the Faith that came into my heart like if a river was passing throught and faith was in it and stopped here without me choosing it to stop here. Faith is a gift of God for sure its his work , baptism of water is not his work, but baptism of the Holy Spirit is!!
    Luke 3:16
16 John answered them all, “I baptize you with[a] water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with[b] the Holy Spirit and fire.
    1 Corinthians 12:13
13 For we were all baptized by[a] one Spirit so as to form one body-whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
    Ephesians 1:13-14
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory.
So what is exactly the Gospel?
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Is there a difference between the Gospel and Baptism ? lets see what Paul said.
    1 Corinthians 1:17
17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
Paul was in the unique position as an apostle of having been sent by Christ Himself to complete a specific mission with his life. Christ sent Paul to preach the gospel, especially to the Gentiles (Acts 9:15; 22:21).
Holding clearly to this mission meant that Paul also understood what Christ had not sent him to do. He was not called to baptize those who had believed the gospel. He was an evangelist and a missionary. He relied on others to baptize new believers and to participate directly in pastoring and teaching them.
We can take two things from this statement. First, Paul makes it crystal clear that baptism is not the gospel. In other words, baptism is not required for a person to be saved. Paul's teaching of the gospel is utterly clear that faith in Christ is the only path to God's grace and eternal salvation from sin (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Second, Paul is not dismissing baptism as unnecessary. He expected that all who came to Christ would be baptized, and Christ commanded His followers to both make disciples and baptize all who believed (Matthew 28:19). Baptism is a step of obedience and a public declaration that a believer belongs to Christ.
Paul adds that Christ did not send him to preach the gospel with words of eloquent wisdom. To preach in this way, Paul says, risks emptying the cross of Christ of its power.
As a writer of course, Paul was often quite eloquent and certainly wise in his presentation of the gospel. One of the values of this era was rhetoric, speeches that were recognized for their brilliant use of words and phrasing to wow an audience and overwhelm a debate opponent on a given topic. We still use that term, today, in reference to the use of words intended to elicit certain responses.
Though Paul was clearly skillful in his use of words, he did not want to persuade anyone to come to faith in Christ because of dazzling wordplay. Instead, he wanted to present the gospel as clearly as possible and allow his listeners to be persuaded by the simple, compelling fact that the Son of God died to pay the penalty for their own sin. That powerful message should not require dazzling packaging to make an impact.

Another thought - the thief who died alongside Jesus and was told he would be in paradise with Jesus that day. He was saved without baptism. Just trying to understand. I was baptized as a child which to some people I guess isn't enough. I understand obedience but I don't my see how anything we do adds to the salvation we already receive from Christ's sacrifice. Was his sacrifice not enough? Interesting debate.

@km6509, This is just a play on words. Asking is Christ's sacrifice not enough?, is assuming that man/woman has no part in being saved, as if man/woman doesn't have to respond to Christ's sacrifice, believe, confess the Lord Jesus Romans 10:9-10, that a person is saved along with or against his/her will because Christ's sacrifice is the only factor. "Is Christ's sacrifice not enough" is never used against any other of the scripturally expected human responses to Christ's sacrifice. It's used biasedly only against baptism. It's a play on words.
Why would the thief be subject to a command given after the thief was dead? Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38-39

    • @robertnieten7259
      @robertnieten7259 9 месяцев назад +1

The thief was saved without baptism because he was under the old covenant because being born again was possible at that time.
Just as physical birth is the result of a process, spiritual rebirth also is.Acts 2:38 is that process.

If you reject the alorsa Baptism of the Holy Ghost over Man dunk you under Water. Then yes you are trying to earn by works..
To Believe is the call of the Gospel... You don't believe , trust Jesus to save you through Faith.
Trust a manmade religion tells me all I need to know..
A ta 22:16 is the Baptism of Repentance with water that John Preached ..
Why are you not trusting Jesus to Baptize you with the Holy Ghost..

The Authentic Christan channel: You have error in your teachings. You're going to find the book of James, Hebrews, John , 1 John, etc. all taught saved by faith plus work. Jesus Himself taught you obey all commendment. He never told you to skip any of them. He told you to observe all things. You have to ask yourself to whom these books wrote to. For example, James wrote to the 12 tribes. Are you the 12 tribes in the dispersion? Through the revelation of Jesus, Paul wrote many letters after James, John, etc. to tell you are saved by God's grace through faith, not work. If you look at Pick Man 1973's comment, numerous passage Jesus taught to do good works. You need to read the bible with context, historical background, to whom it was written to and what is applicable to you and I today. If you just read the bible like a la carte menu, no wonder you are confused between how we are saved by grace through faith or by grace through faith plus work. Every thing Jesus had done on the cross is God's grace. Every thing we are taught to do are work including water baptism, including our repentance. If we lean on our repentance and not Jesus Christ then it's repetancne of dead work, Hebrews 6. Be careful.
