My favorite seed from Minecraft PE (somewhere in 2013/2014) was something along the lines of “I like pie”. It would spawn you in a valley and if you dug straight down from spawn, you would find a nice amount of iron, gold, lapiz, and diamonds. There was another seed I loved called “I like Pizza” that would spawn you on a coastline with huge mountains on your right and a large cave was built into those mountains behind you. Further down the coast in front of you was an exposed lava fall that led into the ocean. Overall I remember it as a stunning seed.
I swear if you put in 999 as the seed on an old world in pocket edition it would spawn you in a village that was directly connected to a second. You had to move fast to stop a lava flow from burning both down though
Technically as of Caves and Cliffs, terrain isn't controlled by biomes anymore. That's why they removed all of the "hills" versions of biomes, because they can just have hills naturally. So you can get stuff like desert hills in 1.18+. There is still some correlation between biomes and terrain, but it's because they're both controlled by the noise parameters - it's pretty complicated.
fun demo fact: If you modify the “game time” (separate from the world time) with an NBT editor to be a very low negative value, you can play the demo basically forever.
Regarding simple one word seeds, I remember I was frustrated with my first world that I couldn't find any coal, so I created a new world with the seed "Coal". It didn't give me coal or anything it's just funny how this one random decision allowed me to relive some of my first moments in the game 12 years later.
I remember a seed wayyyy back in some of the earliest versions of MCPE, I found one where a certain overhanging mountain in the corner of the map would spawn with two torches naturally. it was pretty creepy and I tested it out like 20 times to be sure (of course 9/10 year old me was scared Herobrine was responsible).
@@arktya It could've been in one of the earliest versions with villages. I don't know of any other reason for why torches would naturally generate in the world.
I remember the seed "super pig" in pocket edition back in 2015-2016 being incredible. You would spawn near a pretty huge village that went up the side of a really tall mountain. There was this pit in the center of the village that led into an expansive cave network. For some reason emeralds spawned much more frequently, there was one chamber that had emerald ore dotted around its entire surface
No way! -11 used to be my go-to seed. I found it myself back in the day. Seeing how it was populair amongst the community is madly nostalgic for me. didn't expect that.
The seed North Carolina (the 1.7 terrain version) is incredibly special to me. I started playing Minecraft in the demo version and I would spend hours playing on this specific world, always resetting over and over to keep playing. I didn't expect to see it in a video! I think it's cool that my earliest memories in Minecraft can be tied to something that I can revisit.
1.18+ North Carolina seed is nostalgic to me, as my mom bought Minecraft for me on April 2022, and before it, I kept playing the demo (I lost my original world because I messed with the NBT trying to bring back a kidnapped villager that escaped), and I still use the seed once in a while
'lost' was still a popular seed post-release 1.7 though, since the area around spawn became ocean again with the generator overhaul. The code that determined potential mushroom island locations based on the seed stayed consistent throughout all of the versions.
anyone remembers the seed where you spawned right next to an ocean and a village, with a cave with a ravine inside? If I'm not mistaking there was also some florest and desert biomes nearby, I believe it worked for 1.2.5 and a couple of versions after that
it was the one where the ravine was like right under the village so you'd hear cave noises, right? i think you could tunnel under the backyard of one of the houses
The seed "seed" on legacy console edition (i played on ps3) was amazing. You spawned in a plains beside a small forest that spawned wolves, were in between a snowy taiga that spawned more wolves, a jungle that spawned ocelots and a desert that had a desert village and a desert temple. I believe beyond the snowy taiga there was a second village in another plains, but it was more of a walk away. Near the plains-desert boundary point there is a large cave system that eventually leads to diamonds. Sadly the java version of the seed that I tried on 1.3 or 1.4 didn't seem to be exactly the same. The biomes and desert temple are exactly the same, but i havent found any wolves and the desert village and second village are gone. There is a village in the Java version but its between world spawn and the jungle, and is visible from spawn. Horses dont spawn in the plains either in 1.6, but did when i tried the seed again in a new world after horses were added to ps3. I wish there was footage of the original seed on YT. Chunkbase doesn't seem to show legacy console seeds either :(.
"worstseedever" was my favorite seed back in the day. zombie spawner on the surface and there were a shit ton of diamonds in the mind right below spawn. It was also the first time I got the "when pigs fly" achievement.
I remember "Christmas" from pocket edition (at least I think that was the seed, although it could have also been "Santa") Either way, it spawned you in a stronghold village right next to a massive ravine with the stronghold exposed. I'm pretty sure it works in whatever the 1.12 equivalent is for pocket/bedrock, and I guess may work as recently as 1.17
The best Bedrock Edition seed with the longest reign was actually “FINAL”. It spawned you right on a village’s house, with several villages nearby only around 200+ blocks away, AND a stronghold right under you.. it doesn’t stop there; there were also mineshafts, dungeons, and desert temples (with an enchant golden apple) really close to spawn. I remember (I think) 1.13 just added a huge ravine next to it, which made it even better. However, it started to break apart after 1.14 when the villages got overhauled, that shuffled the places of the villages around (but not the ravine and generation). Up until the Caves & Cliffs update when it became completely unrecognizable, but even then.. today it spawns on really high jagged peaks with an end city deep down! Honestly the seed is quite legendary for its history, almost like it’s actually the FINAL resort.
the overall seed is pretty good too if you like deserts as it spawns you between an acacia biome and desert biome with a ton of windy rivers running through them
“fight” in Pocket Edition pre-0.9.0a is so nostalgic to me as due to the lack of the super flat world type, you had to find mostly flat seeds to have a good ground to build in on in creative, and “fight” had a nice, large flat area at spawn.
Pocket Edition deserves it's own entry.. Especially because back in Alpha 0.2.0, people tried to find seeds with lava existing in the world, since lava was very, very rare because of limited worlds
In the update that first added jungles (can’t remember which it was) there was a seed called ‘Iron’ that spawned you on a jungle island that was perfectly moderate-sized in the middle of a huge ocean. There was a ravine just beneath the surface too. Legit made a friend in high school when I shared that seed.

A similar story in many of these seeds is Beta 1.8 (the Adventure Update) ended them. I started late in Beta 1.6 and I've always felt that when 1.8 came out it became far more difficult to find really unique terrain generation.
Back in 2016 on the now dead Pocket Edition, I found out that typping "steve" in the seed generator would spawn me in a village, the blacksmith chest would have diamonds and 7 obsidians, needless to say I would use it very often
I distinctly remember in a really early version of pocket edition (pre infinite worlds maybe?) a seed like “nyancat” or “nyan” that spawned you next to a lava waterfall. I think this might have been before buckets were in pe as well which made any lava you found really rare, especially above ground

It even works on the Modern Beta Minecraft mod. You just have to set the world generation type to Pocket Edition and type the seed in. I highly recommend it. I’m playing on it rn for a survival world on Modern Beta. It’s amazing
Does remember the pocket edition seed ‘robot’? It spawned you in the middle of two ginormous villages. They spawned super close to each other and formed a crazy mega village, I remember having multiple worlds with that seed. A popular MCPE/Bedrock seed in Indonesia was 999. It spawned you between 2 villages one of which was on a river and it could be generated for all versions prior to 1.18
my big one was the seed "nyan" in OG pocket edition ages and ages and ages ago......... it had overground lava at spawn, which was huge, because lava was really tough to find in PE.
I used to obsess over creepypasta stuff and i played seed 666 on 3 different versions with different terrain generations. The first time was somewhere before 1.16, spawn was in a savannah biome and there were two mountains beside each other forming a perfect place for a 3 block wide house (and potentially a really long one). Second time i played either in 1.16 or 1.17, the spawn was still in a savannah biome but i couldn't find the place i described earlier (I'm unsure though because i didn't really look for it that much, but i still believe it's a different one). And lastly i played it in 1.19/1.20 and it's the one you showed in the video, actually a pretty interesting seed, a pillager outpost is right beside your spawn, and there's a small jungle with a single parrot i think
I've seen a bunch of interesting seeds in my time, sadly a lot of them were lost to my bad memory and the deletion of said worlds But there's one I think is worth mentioning because people are into survival islands it seems, I typed in my username Hameleosha for a seed in 1.17 and it was the best survival island I've personally seen, not too big, not too small, one tree, one hill, and even a horse, also there's an ocean monument right next to it, from my experience you won't get mining fatigue if you make a mine inside that small hill, but the sounds the guardians make will be very annoying. Sadly 1.18 made it a generic non-island seed, and I'm still passively looking for one similarly as good that exists in 1.18+ (which is most likely impossible due to the addition of waterlogged caves, I don't like them, and it seems like all islands will have waterlogged caves from now on)
For my back in MCPE we used to use the seed 455 to get a village spawn every time. Me and my brother would obliterate it every single time. Good times.
3:26 This is the demo world seed, the time and messages was also used in Java PC gamer Edition, and then there is a trail version in mobile aka if I call it Bedrock Trail Edition, same as PC gamer Edition in Bedrock, separate app.
There was a seed I played on all the time in xbox 360 during TU12 called Herobrine. Would spawn you across a lake from some really cool mountains that had a large cave system embedded in them
i think you should add seed "999" for pocket edition since it was pretty iconic because they spawned you on a 2 different village with different biomes merged together creating a big village, at the past people usually use this seed to build or upgrade the village
I remember in Minecraft PE from like 2011 to 2013 i think, there was a seed i had just called Castle, and it was icon for me and my brother. Rip Castle
Hello Ryan I'd like to see a review of the mod "The Right Branch of Development" for old minecraft, It was made by Alex Chris who made the MC for noobs animations back in the day which were really funny at the time so it would be interesting to see what this mod holds as I haven't downloaded it before.
I actually found a pretty neat seed in one of the newest versions of Minecraft, you can get every tree type very early game, like I believe during your first Minecraft day, even the new cherrygrove tree and it's just a seed that's the same name as one of my original characters lol
Still remember 888 a console legacy seed, that actually got cooler each update, but the classic having a mob spawner right near spawn, and cool sandy mountain terrain generation
Omg, I played on the seed 4 so much in 1.7.10 I completely forgot about it, I'm gonna do a new survival world using this seed to remember the good old times
In the first version of the 360 edition, clay was super rare due to a bug. I don't remember the spacing or capitalization, but "Poopoo choochoo" of all things spawned in clay. I tried finding it online to no avail.
A good mcpe seed I remember was 0.69.0 it basically had iron, gold, and diamonds under where you spawn and I remember jackfrostminer made a video about it back then. I also remember this other mcpe seed where it was this cliff with lava and water falling next to each other and it made one piece of cobble and there was a blue flower on top of the cliff and many called it the herobrine seed cause cobble didn't spawn naturally (even tho it spawn cause of the lava and water but we were dumb kids) and the blue flower was supposed to seem like herobrine's shirt but I couldn't find anything online about the seed. There was other cool seeds I remember but I either would find them on a yt video or just put random stuff as the seed. Good Old Days
I think North Carolina is only like that because if you run "/seed" in-game it actually gives you a string of numbers instead of "North Carolina" (Which was likely the original seed) (Atleast in versions 1.20+ I never really checked the original version)
My all time favorite pocket edition seed was nyan. I don't remember what update it was on but I think it was around 2011-2013. I'd love to see a video showing it. Edit: I just looked at the chapters on episode one😂😂

There used to be a super old PE seed me and my brother used to play and i for the life of me can not remember what it was. It was before you could have infinite world and there were no caves, so there was like no lava and it had one source of lava on the surface and it was in this mountain range that circled around a sort of level plain. Searching PE seeds from back then is so hard and i feel like it was a world we got the seed from online.
Through research after posting I’ve come to it being either CreeperKillers, nyan or iliketomoveit. I’m not sure which one it is and idk how to get alpha 0.6.1 PE to test to see if they fire any neurons up.

I've seen a bunch of interesting seeds in my time, sadly a lot of them were lost to my bad memory and the deletion of said worlds
But there's one I think is worth mentioning because people are into survival islands it seems, I typed in my username Hameleosha for a seed in 1.17 and it was the best survival island I've personally seen, not too big, not too small, one tree, one hill, and even a horse, also there's an ocean monument right next to it, from my experience you won't get mining fatigue if you make a mine inside that small hill, but the sounds the guardians make will be very annoying. Sadly 1.18 made it a generic non-island seed, and I'm still passively looking for one similarly as good that exists in 1.18+ (which is most likely impossible due to the addition of waterlogged caves, I don't like them, and it seems like all islands will have waterlogged caves from now on)
the legacy console tutorial seeds are iconic, specifically the first tutorial with the coastal village facing a snowy island
For my back in MCPE we used to use the seed 455 to get a village spawn every time. Me and my brother would obliterate it every single time.
Good times.
3:26 This is the demo world seed, the time and messages was also used in Java PC gamer Edition, and then there is a trail version in mobile aka if I call it Bedrock Trail Edition, same as PC gamer Edition in Bedrock, separate app.
if you go up the left of the beach in wolf you get a nice mountain area, i remember building a house there and bridging between the mountains
also now wolf gives a woodland mansion right next to spawn
There was a seed I played on all the time in xbox 360 during TU12 called Herobrine. Would spawn you across a lake from some really cool mountains that had a large cave system embedded in them
the 'lost' seed actually still spawns you near a mushroom island! I remember loving to play on it on version 1.5.2
It does, I realized that after editing 😭😭
I just opened the game on 1.7.2 and it STILL spawns you in a mushroom island@@PaladinRyan
i literally just found your forgotten mods vid checked out the channel then see you posted 8 minutes ago nice
Good video overall, its just that at 5:28 I would have liked to get more information on where and how Mojang advertised the seed.
i think you should add seed "999" for pocket edition since it was pretty iconic because they spawned you on a 2 different village with different biomes merged together creating a big village, at the past people usually use this seed to build or upgrade the village
I remember in Minecraft PE from like 2011 to 2013 i think, there was a seed i had just called Castle, and it was icon for me and my brother. Rip Castle
Villages are way too common now. You find them over every other hill. The world of Minecraft is overpopulated now.
I used to have a nice little establishment going on on Dossier before the update.
I have fond memories of "Mars", which had a hollow mountain right at spawn.
Lost was my go to seed, I remember being burned by 1.2 until years later I realized it just spawns you further away. Confirmed for 1.20!!
Omg, I played on the seed 4 so much in 1.7.10
I completely forgot about it, I'm gonna do a new survival world using this seed to remember the good old times
on the latest version the seed france is bacon spawns you next to a big mesa with lots of tall hills and its right above skulk too
My favorite childhood seed is an mcpe one named robot
It would spawn you near a double village with an end dungeon beneath one of the wells.
Great video
In the first version of the 360 edition, clay was super rare due to a bug. I don't remember the spacing or capitalization, but "Poopoo choochoo" of all things spawned in clay. I tried finding it online to no avail.
Did someone tell you the seed or was it randomly generated?
"Lost to time"
Modern Beta: frankly I beg to differ
I remember old seeds I used to play on all the time called diamonds please and village
Another cool one before beta 1.8 was "10110101", featuring crazy terrain with a spawner right under a mountain top
I miss seeing random floating islands while exploring
Dont remember what version probably 1.7 or 1.8 but "grass" would spawn you by a village and i remember always using that seed as a kid
Back then Troll would spawn a village next to me and Trolled would spawn a creeper next to me.
I think North Carolina is only like that because if you run "/seed" in-game it actually gives you a string of numbers instead of "North Carolina" (Which was likely the original seed)
(Atleast in versions 1.20+ I never really checked the original version)
We need more pocket edition so many crazy pocket edition seeds back in the day they used to be so many good seeds like spiderman or Nyan
My all time favorite pocket edition seed was nyan. I don't remember what update it was on but I think it was around 2011-2013. I'd love to see a video showing it.
Edit: I just looked at the chapters on episode one😂😂
I once found an exposed portal room stronghold on the ocean, just like on the first seed in 1.12 or 1.8 I guess.
Greenskull… that’s a name as a Halo fan I haven’t heard in a long time. HaloTube really has changed since like, Infinite dropped I guess haha.
I like the 'implication' that the gimmeavillage world sunk into the ocean as time (version) goes on
I used to be jsut osbessed with "haunted" Minecraft seeds and wouldcat one point make my worlds exclusively ob them as a "series" to """docukent""" weried findings
8:54 Heres a Full Run Down of the Seed "Sprite" for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition because I am Bored:
X-59 Y34 Z-68 has an Underground Under the Ocean The End Portal with 1 Eye Of Ender already placed in the Portal
X-289 Y65 Z33 has Medium Island that is around an Archipelago of Small Islands
X96 Y66 Z317 has Big Mushroom Island
X372 Y98 Z387 has Giant Mushroom Island that is being Infected with the Cure and You must remove the Cure before the Giant Mushroom Island turns into a Giant Island
X-40 Y71 Z167 has the Spawn Island with Tree
X-180 Y84 Z16 has Giant Mushroom Island that is being Infected by the Cure and You must remove the Cure before the Giant Mushroom Island turns into a Giant Island
X-293 Y83 Z-368 has Giant Mushroom Island that is being Infected by the Cure and You must remove the Cure before the Giant Mushroom Island turns into a Giant Island
X-23 Y66 Z-333 has Medium Island that is around an Archipelago of Small Islands
X194 Y64 Z-421 has Frozen Ice in the Ocean
X424 Y64 Z-423 has Frozen Ice in the Ocean
gimmeavillage still gave you a village on Superflat until 1.14.
Dossier had hundreds of diamonds in the caves at spawn, I swear every time I went down there I found at least ten more!
I think 666 was a seed I used in 0.11 or even 0.10? The world gen engine updated in 0.9 so I should check it out one of these days again in the latest update.
if i didn't remember wrong, the cave on the right at 4:14, leads you straight down to several diamonds
Is it the seed Nether4?
Was it the seed "notch" ?
Through research after posting I’ve come to it being either CreeperKillers, nyan or iliketomoveit. I’m not sure which one it is and idk how to get alpha 0.6.1 PE to test to see if they fire any neurons up.
I have become obsessed with the 404 seed!
such a mood xD
It's all your fault! (Its fun tho ty!)@@gengarjuice69
Dunno if you'll see this but-- Man! what shader are you using, especially for the North Carolina Demo World part!
complementary!
This is gunna be a good one Ms Ferraro!
I kinda wish we could have a generator toggle for beta mountains
anyone remember the huge crater seed for 1.2.5 that was like 40 blocks in diameter and let straight to diamonds
Which shaders did you use?
complementary for 1.20!
@@PaladinRyan aight, thank you!!
Hey Ryan can you find a classic mod that adds new ores new tools new mobs new blocks
Ok but arguably the best seed for mcpe was dumbocow, not only was the terrain massive but it was everywhere- there were so many nooks and crannies to explore
Edit: how could I forget lol itsapig was also known to have the largest floating island to have ever been found
Please do the old PE spooky mansion seed, that was my childhood 😢
Fun Fact - using seed 'FROST' in Bedrock edition 1.20 spawns you in a snowy taiga biome.
