I just realized that many magic sets sold in stores (like Walmart), in the U.S., come with card boxes with a secret panel to hide a flat object (a playing card, dollar bill, PREDICTION, etc.). The card case can be shown to be completely empty after taking out the deck of cards. When opened at the end of the effect, though, the card case is opened to show a prediction has magically materialized. Thanks for the great instruction and information.
I love the 1st force trick, its one I will always use with normal bicycle cards now, also using the card box as the reveal so I can carry it with me at all times, thank-you, neil 👍👍👍

I’ve never considered using The Gift for the card trick. I bought it for the outs for non-card related mentalism. It does exactly what I need and holds a Rubik’s cube very nicely.
Very nice. I really like both forces. Although, in spite of what you say, I have been busted for the second force as soon as I used it in the past. Some spectators are just very good at 3D imaging of the situation. But the first method is rock solid. It definitely fooled me completely. I used something like that in the past, but I never thought of it as a force. Love your alternative here, just a wonderful alternative to clever mechanisms. The difference is that you are handling the cards, but then you are not touching the box.
@@LouigiVerona Because the Gift has four possible outcomes which you can control exeternally.. it has 4 billets in it but upon inspection it appears to only have one.. crafted very well. Just requires a very small external slight to select the right billet. I saw an example where someone "randomly" picked a page in a notebook , then selected one of four drawings on that page. That drawing prediction was in the box. IN actuality all four drawings were in that box and the pad used was a SvenPad.
The box in this case is not gimmicked in any way. That through me off at first and was thinking Koran deck, but clearly the box is a red herring. You would not need Angelo Carbone's box at all for this.

The 'gift' looks great, but I think to justify the size of the box, something other than a small folded piece of paper needs to be inside. Some great tips there... ty 👍
I agree completely. The way I settled on it is using those Deck Boxes sold in Walmart or other stores. Can't remember where I bought them at but they are plastic boxes that say Deck-Box on them. This way when you remove the deck from the box it makes total sense. Optionally, you could actually wrap the Deck-Box with gift wrap paper to make it look like a gift or just put a bow on it.
Wouldn't it be nice to use the two methods on two audience members (for example a couple) with two different decks and then let them be amazed at how they chose the same card
