Do you struggle with the doctrine of Total Depravity? This doctrine is not something to be feared. Rather, it is a doctrine that is taught throughout the Bible. In Romans chapter three, the Apostle Paul uses scripture from the Old Testament to reveal the full effect of the fall of man.
In this sermon, Dr. Voddie Baucham explains the four divisions in Romans 3:9-18:
1. The Universal Nature of Sin
2. Sin touches every aspect of our being
3. Sin affects how we live together
4. There is a sin that we can't see

9 What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, 10 as it is written:
“None is righteous, no, not one;
11 no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
13 “Their throat is an open grave;
they use their tongues to deceive.”
“The venom of asps is under their lips.”
14 “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 in their paths are ruin and misery,
17 and the way of peace they have not known.”
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Father, through your Son Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit please give me strength to keep going because I want to give up. Please hear my prayers. I trust in you and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m struggling to buy their school supplies. But even in hard times we must choose to have faith. As christians that’s all we can do. No matter your struggle, we can turn to God. He knows us personally and can give us strength to overcome our challenges. Keep trust in our Lord he will always provide Walk with faith.
You’re not alone I too struggle with all these things but blessed is she who believes the Lord will fulfil his promises to her, God see us struggling and he will deliver our daily needs faith is believing in things not seen he will not let us down 🙌🏼🙏🏼🕊️🫶🏼 God bless you and shine his face upon you sister
Also just for a little testimony for encouragement in these things I too have struggled with food this month and as I went into the supermarket I prayed to find some cheap food he supplied the needs that I had I had boxes of 12 ice lollies for 35p pizzas for 13p I bought 10 microwave meals for 35p it was food that I wouldn’t normally buy but it was answered prayer and helped massively

At the point of justification, no one knows how depraved they were/are. That’s why it’s important to study the character of God to truly understand the depravity of man and then you will properly understand grace.

a friend of my sons died 3 days ago he was a man who loved all aspects of life he loved to party he loved his jobs as a lifeguard in the summer along with being a cook at a restaurant, he liked to drink, but unlike the rest of his family he stayed out of trouble, few years ago he was ill he never spoke much about it but the man knew the Bible i told him he belonged in a pulpit telling others they aren't justified of their wickedness that real repentance comes from the heart not by mouth service, he studied the Bible listen to music did what he could to lead other! yet in the end he went home after work laid down and never opened his eyes in this world again! so many people think they can wait until old age so many think there will always be another day, when that day comes they stand in judgement all these things he did, but if he hadn't surrendered his life to Christ completely then all that he did was a waist,

How can it be said that man does no good?
Does man help his neighbor out? Is he faithful to his spouse?
Has he ever shewed mercy to another? Does he show kindness to a fellow human being? In other words…,do human beings do good things in spite of their total depravity??
These scriptures seem to paint a picture of every single human being swift to shed blood, etc.
But not every human being is swift to shed blood, there are people who do not shed the blood of others.
If you don't understand your depravity you don't know the truth and you are not born again. This knowledge is what frees you. It helps you deny the pride you have of yourself.
I would say that Paul is not teaching total depravity in Romans 3. He's teaching that all have sinned and need the grace of God. Nowhere in the passage does he teach that men are totally depraved and need to be regenerated to believe. Paul uses the hyperbole in the Psalm to make his point that all are sinners.

When Jesus Christ is lifted up He draws all men on to Himself YET they don’t all come ! No man seeks after God on his own but God draws them onto Himself BUT God in His sovereignty has given man free will that’s the only reason when He draws all man onto Himself they don’t all come ! I know I don’t believe in free will because I think theirs something good in me because in me and my flesh lies absolutely no good thing ! Did Adam have free Will not to obey God in the garden? If Adam could have had free Will to obey God was God not sovereign in the garden? If Adam had the free Will to obey God in the garden and God was still sovereign why can’t man have free will now and God still be sovereign?
I’m interested in hearing what is the preacher’s understanding on, if God openly sets out a commandment, for all men everywhere to repent. In what way is man accountable to obey? Not necessarily the preacher, maybe other elders in the meeting.
And in Genesis chapter 6, we are told that God said “…My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”(v 3)The people in Noah’s day were brought again and again to see the need, to get right with God.
And the Spirit of God used Noah, a preacher of righteousness. 2Peter chapter 2 verse 5 says “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.”
Is fallen man’s makeup fully able the receive this call or unable to respond?

a friend of my sons died 3 days ago he was a man who loved all aspects of life he loved to party he loved his jobs as a lifeguard in the summer along with being a cook at a restaurant, he liked to drink, but unlike the rest of his family he stayed out of trouble, one day my son went home he set down and heard what he turned out to be snoring his buddy had slipped the house key from his pocket went into his home while he was away and for whatever reason had gone into the attic now Mike was no thief he liked to drink but a few years ago he was ill he never spoke much about it but the man knew the Bible i told him he belonged in a pulpit telling others they aren't justified of their wickedness that real repentance comes from the heart not by mouth service, he studied the Bible listen to music did what he could to lead other! yet in the end he went home after work laid down and never opened his eyes in this world again! so many people think they can wait until old age so many think there will always be another day, you can spend years with someone and not really know them, that man lying next to you can be heaven sent or your worst enemy because he knows your weaknesses, he knows how to manipulate you to get what he wants! and it's the same with a women men have to deal with those possibilities, several years ago i was at a camp site my relative was missing a few brain cells and tried to start a grill using kerosine, the flames followed the fumes to the can and there were children around i grabbed the can from her and turned away from everyone to shield them is necessary by God's grace when i slammed my hand down over the pour spout it put the flame out, i didnt stay around long i dont like people trying to lift me up above them when its Gods place not mine, that day no one was harmed, i have lost many friends over the years, and I've had to minister to a few, But Christ is everything he should be the main focus our lives belong to him our dreams are given by him, have you ever had a dream come true minute by minute you knew what would take place next, like ground hog day! well that was God directing you on a path that you could use to change things to alter someone's perspective even change an outcome! Christ is in control of every moment every aspect of one of his believers lives, and like Trump when you stand before others or in his case stand before the nations and claim Mathew 10:32 Christ goes before Gods throne and will claim you as his by name and from that moment you are as Trump is in the palm of his hand and the enemy can't get to you! the believer's fruit is better Mathew 10:22! if that is not your fruit then you have a problem!

I HATE LISTENING to MACHO MEN speaking the WORD OF GOD in a TONE OF VOICE that lacks CONFIDENCE IN LOVE (GOD IS) > ❤
1). Brother Voddie sounds and looks like a JACKHAMMER > 💥
2). John MacArthur sounds and acts like a machine gun spiting out BULLETS and I believe that he enjoys offending sinners > 💥
Pastor John even SPIKES THE WORD into our hearts from time to time after he passes HIS GOAL LINE > 💥
3). John Piper and Justin Peters are just way TOO SENSITIVE and should be casting "ALL" their cares onto the LORD who has broad shoulders and would make a great Football Player but (Luke 11:17)!
4). I just don't like Stephen Lawsen's voice even when I'm Spirit filled. I heard him boast of his love of FOOTBALL which is a heathen game that nullifies Romans 13:10 completely > 🤪
5). As for Paul Washer - He has ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIDENCE IN THE EVERY KNEE WILL BOW

Maybe "ALL" doesn't really mean "ALL" > "ALL" of the time?

Total Depravity is false, this passage is prophets talking to hypocritical Jews, not about mankind in general. The context is that no sinner is righteous with God
I have a Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity', the truth is not in this video but in the NT.
We are all under sin from Adam, sin being judicial condemnation due to Adam not ourselves, but Jesus can take away that false penalty if you have not sinned.

Voddie isn't preaching mythology! he's preaching scripture-based doctrine he's not preaching personal or occult doctrine he's preaching fact! there are none righteous no one, not one of us obeys Gods laws or his commandments! back in the day I went to a church and watched the viewing of the passion, i would say there were between 50-60 teens there that evening most i figure didnt even take their eyes of their text screen to even look up, and when the movie was oner all of them got up and walked out, all except 1 out of 50-60 teen that night walked up to that altar and surrendered her life to Christ only 1 walked out of that sanctuary out of maybe 500 adults and teen left with her name in the book of life! I have preached Gods word for 35 years i am on the vaticans blacklist and the other occults as well just like most pastors preaching like Voddie is! today anyone claiming to be a profit anyone claiming to be an apostle are Liars because those offices of ministry have been completed and the time of those offices have passed! do you even know the basics of getting real salvation? did you know repentance comes from the heart not lip service! do you know what a real miracle is? how man have died under your teachings/ministry, and did just one of them know what it meant to be a real believer! i watch these occult shows try to match the prosperity wolfpack and i think it will be these people on that day when 1Thessalons 4:16-17 takes place declaring to the nations and their occult following that the beast i Christ and they will use Ezekiel 9:1-11 to justify taking the mark and to justify killing everyone who rejects the mark of the beast! people who want myth follow the prosperity wolfpack they love being told they are justified in their wickedness before Gods throne justified of their lifestyle choices before Gods throne! I am NT KJV based, and Voddie is preaching from error, not his intention I am sure but he has found a made up religion that is about accepting a gift, rather than a life of service. As for you read the OT when it s quoted and you will find God does say there are non righteous, it is prophets talking to unbelievers not God talking about the whole world.
Offering a false free gift of salvation would cause euphoria anywhere, I'm afraid the free gift is only for those who serve God, having past sins forgiven is truly a gift but serving God to get it is not so attractive though true.
I claim nothing about myself but offer the truth of the Holy Bible, and I admire Voddie as a smooth operator, but a religion offering salvation for free must be false as the truth demands repentance and good works.
The myths are false teaching like all have sinned, which everyone repeats, but really is only all that sin fall short of the glory of God.
