- To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s "Beyond Vietnam" speech, Professor and Author Marc Lamont Hill, Co-Executive Director of Highlander Research and Education Center Ash-Lee Woodard Henderson, and Executive Director of Color of Change Rashad Robinson gather to discuss Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "Beyond Vietnam" speech 50 years later, global activism, and systems of social justice and equality.
During our conversation, we discuss the notion that Dr. King felt, after all of the years spent fighting for integration, that "we have integrated into a burning house." (as told to Harry Belafonte in 1967)
