    This is embarrassing for us as a country in my honest opinion, government officials making drainage installation look like setting up a nuclear power plant. WTF is wrong with these people?

    Hello Spice fm?
    There's no excuses for the engineers, please.. I'm a Kenyan listening from Thailand and I can confirm that here they have a massive drainage system and underground water harvesting containers which are purified, and used for domestic purposes, why can't the Nairobi County Engineers emulate this concept???

      @danielmuriithi8486 not only money but lives as well. How many people have already died, misplaced, or even lost properties because of this 🤔 😕 😔. They visit good countries for bench marking every now and then, but what Kenyans get is... let me not say..

    I like the gentleman by what he said, political engineering is the big problem. Storm rain drainage is the answer made before construction of any structure.

  • @sarahkamau8376
    @sarahkamau8376 17 дней назад

    This is what happens when engineers compromise and corruption takes place. Corruption is the worst enemy in Kenya. Unfortunately the government is so corrupt from the head to the least.. it's a shame that we pray for rain in Kenya and when rain comes we can't handle floods

    "...and then came the African ..." The saying goes.
    Our cities and engineers have been around for less than 100 years.
    This concept of planning cities comprehensivly for traffic, environment and storm water management is a totally foreign thing in our black lands. Sad.

      Putting money and profits above lives is what's destroying Kenya, and some of its citizens don't reason beyond their immediate needs as evidenced from your comment.
