I recently have been using my grandfathers Alvarez that he’s had for 30 years but has never played and have been learning so much. I saw this in my notifications and instantly started playing along with it. Paired with UGT, Marty Music, and a lot of other things on the internet I’m starting to actually get a good sound and play decently. This is one of the first songs that I’ve been able to play completely mostly through without getting frustrated. Thank you Marty. Rock on. 🤘 🎸

I just picked up Chris Shiflett's actual "backup" Les Paul Goldtop yesterday. I only learned its provenance AFTER completing the in-person transaction. Apparently he's been longtime friends with Shifty from their days back in Santa Barbara, CA.. He bought it a year ago, after Chris called him to tell him of his desire to thin the herd. So now I'm (once again) relying on my go-to music instructor, Marty, to nail this song down! Thanks very much, Marty!!
This is the best explanation I had seen and heard on the net THANK YOU openly I will follow you....The only thing I would change to maka harmony clearer...is taking the 4th and 5ht chord (the chorus) as we call them block chords....a major and Fis major (2nd on e) so instead of changing fingers and getting them crossed (why would you ever do that) take that major sounding chords. The octaves are fairly and fair explained , big thanks !!!!
