I actually said to boys how good would that footage be of me up there last light then headlamping back....so cool😉... be totally farked the next morning though😉🤔😳😂😂

Great vids Rogee. I had my Tikka 300wsm throat extended by the guys at trueflite, swapped the bolt stop for the long action (easy process) and replaced the mag with the 270 family (US$50 from Tikka Performance Center). Had to dremmel the inside of the 270 family mag as the base of the brass is slightly wider in the wsm. This had three positives. It enabled the projectiles to be seated 5mm further out, it dropped the pressure signs and gave a comfortable clearance in the mag so the projectiles wouldn't get flatted by recoil. The negative if you can call it was a very small decrease in speed. The 168 Amax with 66gr of RL17 were doing 3217 now are doing 3209fps. The 200 ELDx were doing 2929 now are doing 2909 - load was 62.8gr of RL17. 0.5mm off lands. I suffered no lost of accuracy. But I have to agree with you on your choice of ELDm instead of the ELDx. I found that out to around 500 the ELDx were great but after that you risk pin holing unless you hit bone. Hope this helps other 300wsm hunters. Keep the vids coming.
