I have the Valentino Roman Stud and it’s worth it to me for the simple fact that not everyone and their mama will have my bag. I have the rockstud spike bag in a dark olive green and I swear I get more compliments on it when I wear it than when I carry classic chanel bags. It’s a statement bag and I love carrying it esp with casual clothes! I agree...I’m tired of any LV canvas bags...they all look the same to me!

Everything old is new again. Back in my day Chanel was only for Stylish older ladies...so times change. I love Jackie bag- but I really do not like to follow the trends- or get the it bags- life is to short (and i am too old for that shit) I love the variety and the freedom to choose.
You just outgrew that, which we all do. When young, self esteem and what you think you should like comes from the outside and what you think other people like. When you grow into yourself, knowing your own likes with your self esteem coming from within, you like what you like and what flatters you, and what others do is irrelevant....and that is always the most impressive style a woman can have.
From all the bags you mentioned in the video, i love the valentino stud bag, but i will wait for second hand market at a lower price. This bag is just so ME, so my style and i dont really care if the bag is IN THE TREND. I live in a big city, if i do wear very trendy piece, i will always run into someone who has the same bag, which is really weird.
I still love the Valentino Rock Stud aesthetic. I have 2 pairs of the Rockstud cage flats and still get a ton of compliments when I wear them out. I found their rock stud bags were lacking, but the Roman stud bags are much, much nicer!

What do you think in general on getting inspired bags on luxury brands. ? For example Mango now has a bag almost identical to the cousin,Zara also has a bag quite similar to the Botega Venneta padded Casette and well there are thousand quilted bags that gives you the look of the classic Chanel. The Valentino rock stud you can get something very similar either from Zara or Aldo.
I have a Gucci Jackie that was before this style but looks more modern as there is one piece of leather for the handle and bag and it is sleeker looking. It doesn’t look as dated. The newest version is similar to the vintage in a bad way. That said, I don’t really use it but I do like it and paid a fraction of retail at the outlet so I’m not mad about it
I use to think these bags weren’t worth it, but then I started to figure. (Mainly because I was planning on starting a handbag line myself) but let’s say they hire craftsmen $20/hr to make a bag and a bag takes on average 20-40hrs to make. And the materials for each bag are 50-100$ that’s 400$-600$ to make. Also not including advertisement, etc. And usually in business you need to aim for atleast doubling your profit. So I think anywhere between $800-$2500 for a handbag makes sense to me. Now when bags get near $10,000 I believe that is when it’s getting ridiculous.
I looked on the web for my size in the Gobi clothing you modeled. They do not have xxs petite. I wish they did. I buy classic bags that rarely go out of style. I would have to absolutely love a current IT bag to justify the purchase.
Still kind of debating whether to buy the jacquemus bags, do love the look 😭 do agree on the fact that it’s starting to die (or dying). Did buy one Le grand in orange, but the vegetable tanned leather came already with small scratches and small stains, ended up returning it. I believe the structure and materials of the LV Coussin bag will inevitably become a timeless style. The chunky chain can be removed once the trend is gone, and the bag easily restyled for the future. The biggest problem I have with the coussin is the insane price - it’s simply not worth it, there are many lovely bags of a similar shape for much less. Fortunately, Leather Louis Vuitton does not keep its value on the resale market; as a LV collector I’ll just wait until we see a flood of reasonably-priced pré-owned Coussins in a couple of years. The Gucci Jackie bag is boring, sorry Jackie... I would prefer getting a vintage Hermès trim 35 bag, which Jackie also loved. As for Chanel lol when we were teens in the late 80s anything Chanel we used to call ‘old vagina style 😂😂’ I always chuckle inside when I see young women dragging their (real or fake) Chanel purses around.

I have a Gucci Jackie that was before this style but looks more modern as there is one piece of leather for the handle and bag and it is sleeker looking. It doesn’t look as dated. The newest version is similar to the vintage in a bad way. That said, I don’t really use it but I do like it and paid a fraction of retail at the outlet so I’m not mad about it
The cassette bag is on my wish list. It just reminds me of the 80s (born in the 90s here) but that Brooklyn 80s style that was like 2006ish

I use to think these bags weren’t worth it, but then I started to figure. (Mainly because I was planning on starting a handbag line myself) but let’s say they hire craftsmen $20/hr to make a bag and a bag takes on average 20-40hrs to make. And the materials for each bag are 50-100$ that’s 400$-600$ to make. Also not including advertisement, etc. And usually in business you need to aim for atleast doubling your profit. So I think anywhere between $800-$2500 for a handbag makes sense to me. Now when bags get near $10,000 I believe that is when it’s getting ridiculous.

I looked on the web for my size in the Gobi clothing you modeled. They do not have xxs petite. I wish they did. I buy classic bags that rarely go out of style. I would have to absolutely love a current IT bag to justify the purchase.

Did buy one Le grand in orange, but the vegetable tanned leather came already with small scratches and small stains, ended up returning it. Sis if you have money to spend on the side go for it cause if you spend your hard earned money you are gonna be mad for one it scratches very easily for me personally the 2019 bags were the best the le baci straw bag is a classic but I've tried to love these new ones they are not worth the price if you really want it get it or wait till ssence has their sale in October/ November you will get it for way cheaper like $305 and I still think that's too much for something that can't hold keys, cards lipstick...... all at once lol I have 3 jacquemus bags and I treat them like shit and they hold up perfectly I've seen a woman with the new one and she only wore it three times the scratches made it look vintage I was like I'm good luv enjoy looool

@@vbenam9413 lol I bought the mini Rachel too! Love it! Also bought baby amber and mini handle, By far leather is very sturdy. The croc printed leather looks a little “plasticy” but personally I don’t mind that. Both mini Rachel and baby amber can fit a phone, the most important thing lol

I don’t really like scratches and stains🥲 think black and white are still in a smooth leather, although still easily scratched, but at least won’t absorb stains. Girl do it you will not regret it . I literally reviewed two of them and I'm not one to buy two bags in the same style but I love them both so much . I also love this channel and respect her so much but I think she's wrong about this and bottega I think these are here to stay for a while . I think if you do buy it the le grand style is the most worth the price as it's a bag you can actually ..use . LOL

I would agree with the jacquemus one if I got it on ssense, but I got mine in the medium size (moyen) classic black straight from the website via France. So to me its symbolic and worth it 🙊🖤

I believe the structure and materials of the LV Coussin bag will inevitably become a timeless style. The chunky chain can be removed once the trend is gone, and the bag easily restyled for the future. The biggest problem I have with the coussin is the insane price - it’s simply not worth it, there are many lovely bags of a similar shape for much less. Fortunately, Leather Louis Vuitton does not keep its value on the resale market; as a LV collector I’ll just wait until we see a flood of reasonably-priced pré-owned Coussins in a couple of years.
The Gucci Jackie bag is boring, sorry Jackie... I would prefer getting a vintage Hermès trim 35 bag, which Jackie also loved. As for Chanel lol when we were teens in the late 80s anything Chanel we used to call ‘old vagina style 😂😂’ I always chuckle inside when I see young women dragging their (real or fake) Chanel purses around.
