I think my last point is the best point on my list... thoughts?? truly love you guys xoxo
I'm really big on value...and for the most part I stay away from heavily-logo'd clothing items. It's funny b/c most of the items you discuss will never be within my reach and the reasonable items are my splurges...it's all relative...it's all good. I really enjoy what you bring to youtube. Never stop! :)
Karen Davis they’re not in daily reach for me either! It’s kind of my take on a “buy this not that” on luxury. I agree even the lower valued items are def still a splurge, that’s why I don’t buy them because the difference is, that splurge doesn’t pay off after the value decreases whereas certain things hold their value for life. Thanks for watching 😘
All very great points. I was tempted to get faux gold hoops and bee on the search for that perfect pair, decided to wait it out for a sale. Once we buy cheaper items over and over, you could've spent that same money in a lifetime pair! Newly subscribed
I completely agree with all your tips. Its too unfortunate that I didnt know about these tips in my teens years. I look back at the designer house watches and jewelry - and now completely regret it because they are not classic pieces rather what was most trendy at the time.
Some of what you say makes sense. But frankly, I could care less if what I wear is "out of trend". For example, I like the Kenzo sweaters, and I could give a shit less if they were once trendy, and now are not. And I feel the same about D&G print. If I like the print, and buy it, I will wear it every summer, I could care less if someone is stupid enough to think Im out of style. The idea of wearing things once is really out of step with reality. Trends don't matter to me in the least. In fact, I would be more comfortable wearing something that was once trendy, and is no longer, as long as it was beautiful, then I would being "the first" to hop on the bandwagon.
I love how she just jumps right into the topic.
GREAT!!
Lol I was thinking the same thing! I can’t take the 10 minute rambling intros most you tubers have... 🥱
Yeah hate it long intros talking tons of shit about their personal just get to the point of your video title damn!
Straight to the point!!!

Having worked in marketing for a beauty company, here are a few rules of thumb I follow for skincare:
1. Buy skincare from SKINCARE companies. Not makeup brands who also make "skincare" (i.e. Dior, Tarte, Lancome)
2. Look up umbrella/parent companies. For instance, Estee Lauder owns a lot of drugstore brands, and many luxury/drugstore brands owned by the same parent company are virtually the same product with slight tweaks and different packaging. Cross-compare ingredients!
3. Find skincare lines carried in dermatologist offices/med spas (like Revision Skincare, Obagi, etc) as these are more science-driven, skincare-dedicated brands that are clinically-proven.
4. Look for lines that have been around a really, really long time and have a reputable history (Erno Laszlo is a great example)
And like she said, do your research! Hope this is helpful!
Emily Beisel great tips
ah thanks!
Emily Beisel thanks for sharing, could you also share some skincare brands?

Thanks Emily!!!!
I also feel like if you use luxury luggage at the airport you’re screaming for someone to steal your shit😂 I personally prefer to be more lowkey when traveling
But when you have a lowkey black bag like everyone else it's misery trying to find it on the carousel!
Calico Quilter i agree! My luggage is different colors for that same reason
Anna G word. tumi and american tourister are my favourites
@@calicoquilter4472 Just do what I learnt from my mom, tie a really bright colourful piece of cloth to the handle, it will stand out!
Agreed, though I do carry my favourite Chanel wallet on chain when travelling as it’s such an elegant little work horse
Designer Luggage: nothing screams "come steal me I have expensive things inside" than fancy bags. I stick to my old beat up Patagonia duffels (with wheels)
I was just going to say the same thing, when I saw your excellent post. Exactly, you're painting a target on your back. You should always travel low key, smart (for customs, security etc.), but low key. Just blend in. It's much safer.
For real! Unless you’re boarding a private jet with no chance of getting your bags stolen lmao but that’s another level
I actually rough up my suitcase on purpose. Nobody will take a suitcase that looks like a hobo has been living in it.
Harper Eddie Bauer is cheaper and better quality 🤪
So right! Don't flaunt your riches....cause you're asking to lose them!

but i feel totaly luxurious wearing his make up😂
Ha truth 🤣🤣🤣
You basically confirmed everything my mom teaches me.
That's a compliment.
I think you give wise solid advice.
I was just thinking that...
I feel that the high end designers are putting out less quality and charging prices that are crazy
I don’t understand the designer costume jewelry!! Seriously, often times those pieces cost roughly the same as real precious metals and stones.
I seldom see designer costume jewelry that holds its value. However, getting something in real gold will always hold its value and may even increase. Real jewelry can be an investment! But those costume pieces may only be in for a season or two.
Not true. Chanel for example holds and increases in value in some pieces. I have sold pieces for more than I have bought them
Anita Robijn that is only in some pieces. Not every single piece is going to do that. The majority will lose value. However, there will always be a few pieces that stand the test of time. It’s no different then their bags. Not every Chanel bag that kept in pristine condition will hold or increase in value.
Real precious metals will always have value that is determined by karats/weight not by the company whose logo is on it.
Very true and I've seen so many people complain that the rhinestones and gems fall out of their Chanel pieces too. I would rather save that and buy a really nice classic bag and just go with real gold jewelry or get costume pieces at the mall for cheap and not feel bad if it goes out of style next year
Amber Anuel exactly
I think the designer costume jewlery is more for celebrity costume wear. It adds to their glamour and aesthetic. That's the only demographic i see who genuinely benefit from designer costume jewlery and often that stuff is given to celebrities for free or loaned out by the brand.
Used to work at Tiffany and they are so overpriced it’s ridiculous.
But she still doesn't know shit about diamonds. Diamonds are not about weight alone - in fact, Tiffany are proud of the fact that weight is the LEAST important thing for them when it comes to their diamonds. Yes, you can get a 4ct diamond for cheaper somewhere else - with less than stellar clarity and a bad cut. Carat is also about weight and not about size.
@@chegu613 you can also get better at a better price from jewellers that aren't big designers.
@@chegu613 @erado coil Wow? chill. Please dont use the word shit and diamond on the same line!! It's like comparing Ying and Yang. Diamond shines, whereas shit stinks, Diamond are a girl best friend, but if you smear shit on yourself I am sure only flies will come to you 😊 Tiffany is definitely over priced and if you think weight is not important and the LEAST important than you dont know much about diamond. Yes the 4 c's play a big part to how a diamond is graded. I am sure this lady knows more about diamonds than you so be kinder when you make comments like as if you are so smart.
Maddie For Diamonds i go to the Jews!!! Best prices best quality
I used to work at Tiffanys too! and yes you are correct - overpriced and DEFINITELY not worth it :)
Head to toe logo just screams noveau riche. I’ve seen people coming from old money dressed in much simpler clothing. But regardless of how much money one has in the bank, it’s just tacky. 🤷🏻♀️
people with old money doesn't need to show it with stuff like that
I totally agree!
For sure.
It’s a hood thing. Especially the Gucci belts.
They look down at new money rich people because they are reminded of the benefactors that built their wealth who were just like the “new money rich” people. It's more jealousy, and personal insecurity, because they don't think they could do the same thing their fore fathers did to create the wealth they now enjoy.
Literally cannot agree more - its clear you've learnt from experience, like you only know not to buy Chanel pearl earrings because they keep falling out. Designer accessories are appalling quality - I saw a documentary where it revealed all designer sunglasses are made in the same factories with the same materials etc
True I saw that documentary on the glasses. And then I noticed that my optometrist kept pushing me towards the designer glasses because I had good vision insurance plan but I was still going to spend close to $300. It was ridiculous. I bought some cheap reading glasses from Costco and I don't have to worry about losing them or scratching them.

Just recently found out the Ordinary products, it is a game changer in the skin care world in my opinion. They also don’t test on animals,
Bottles are recyclable and the price won my wallet. I noticed improvement one month after using it. It’s also Canadian - win win for me (:
Agree!
Janine Dale I did try and like to some degree several of The Ordinary’s products, but found many pilled on my skin, even w/ minimal application. I moved on to Good M
olecules, also priced similarly, but almost all products are of a finer texture, and I’m even happier. Target also carries the Versed line, and it’s downright awesome, & under $20 USD per product. Indeed, there are many excellent, thrifty, skincare choices. If one wanted to bump up a level, Paula’s Choice creates some beautiful products that rival La Mer et al any day! It’s just a matter of some research and foregoing fancy counters & packaging. 👍🏼

With very obvious designer luggage, I imagine they'd be the first thing thieves would target because they'd assume that there were very expensive things inside.
Invest in gold, it never depreciates
17ishChichi This is gunna sound random but I was watching that gold divers programme the other day thinking “why and how did humans decide that certain elements of the earth are valuable and others aren’t”.
It’s strange to think about but diamonds and gold are only valuable because we place value on them. Both are found in what we call “dirt”.

Oww i have never made any of the mistakes you mentioned “ I can’t afford them” ahahhaha
Back in the day airports were careful with luggage. These days they just don’t care so buy regular luggage.
I was at the airport one time sitting by a window where i could see the loading docks where the luggage guys load luggage onto the planes and boy were they carelessly tossing people's luggage and bags!
my cousins work the airport ... smh. davey ramsey lol!
Back in what days? I don't remember days like those, and neither does my great granny.
Maria Smith Back in the 60’s, 70, and 80’s. I asked my 74 year old mother who traveled extensively and owned the same luggage for at least 2 decades how it looked so new. She said the airlines didn’t throw it around like they do now. I’m 48 and have traveled a fair amount. My luggage looks like trash after a few flights. I buy decent but not expensive luggage now because it is filthy after a time or two.
Doris Namondo I came here to say that I’ve seen the same thing
I’m glad my mom always steered me away from fashion and accessories with logos. She raised me to understand that it’s pretty tacky and showy, oftentimes used to distract from its lesser quality. Instilling that mindset has helped me save a lot of money and simultaneously helped elevate my sense of taste.
I felt like I had discovered a big secret when I discovered an equal (cut, clarity, colour, carat) diamond for half the price of the Tiffany stone...crazy
Excellent point. Especially on the jewelry. For the price of the Chanel pearl necklace, you can get a genuine pearl necklace and I'm sure for a lot less.
Victorinox Swiss Army (not SwissGear) luggage is AMAZING! I’ve had a set for years and years. I used to travel several times a month for work ( 5 years straight) and was gifted a set from them because they were a client. I’ve had it now for 7-8 years and you’d never be able to tell it’s been used on over 200 trips! It is top notch and worth every penny. It’s not luxury expensive...but it’s like $300-$450 for larger pieces and under $300 for carry on size pieces.
I am now a stay at home mother, so they are no longer a client. I’m not recommending them because of my work history with them. I recommend it because it is top quality and can take a beating. I mean, they make the actual Swiss Army Knives. They make quality items and stand behind that with amazing warranties!
My victorinox handluggage died after 2 years and I cannot get it fixed.
Kasia Voss that’s weird they cover any kind of like functional defects. The only thing they don’t cover is damage due to normal wear and tear, which happens to any item over time. Like if the handle starts to bend because of how I hold it, they won’t fix that. But if the handle starts to fall off, they will fix it.
Swiss gear is garbage. I have been a Samsonite fan and bought a Swiss gear carryon, thinking it was at least as good as victorinox. It lasted 2 years. I went back to Samsonite and my suitcase is approaching 10 years and 400k miles.
casualsuede Swiss gear is 100% garbage! It’s a blatant cheap knock off of SwissArmy/victorinox. The logo is so similar and Swiss gear makes people think it’s part of Swiss army because of the Swiss and then the looks of the logo. From my time in the promo/employee reward industry, many people don’t actually realize they’re completely different companies.
Korean skin care is where it's at when I was there they are six to eight years advanced vs US

toby Cloutier I bought this skin mask, made in Korea. It was truly awesome my skin has never felt so clean. They are wet plastic but they do the trick.
kanekiji not at all. Get a good sunscreen, moisturizer and bb cream. I only follow a Korean skincare routine. I didn’t actually know that’s what I was doing because that’s how I’ve always done my makeup and skincare.
@@SakuraaaHarmony I can barely remember to put on moisturizer lol
Totally agree with you. Costco has excellent flawless diamonds for a good price
I love this advice, I’ve always told this to my friends but they never listen. Classic tops trendy!
It’s like Christmas every time you upload a video. I agree with head-toe logo mania looking cheap! A little logo is great but more than that, it’s overkill!
I would also add designer scarfs, I own 5 Louis Vuitton Monogram scarfs and every single one looks like a hot mess after some uses. Threats come out everywhere and when you ask at the store they just tell you “that’s how it is, we don’t repair scarfs”. They are 600$ each so I’m really disappointed.
Jolene Yohannan it’s funny because I used to want one of those so bad a few years ago and now I’m over it. I know If I had purchased it and tried to resell it now I’d have a hard time getting rid of it
Personally I disagree on banning all scarves to the "don't buy" list. Here's why. Scarves come in a variety of textile materials and are made either as a knitted fabric or woven fabric. If a scarf is made up in a high quality material, it will last forever. I own a tight knit Gucci wool scarf as well as a tight woven silk Louis Vuitton scarf. I also knit my own scarves and sew some of my own clothing. Equally, there are lots of fabric types that will never hold up well no matter the label. It's what I advise my friends and clients not to buy when shopping for themselves. I don't know which scarf you are referring to but I assume it is one of those loosely woven wool scarves. Those will fall apart and I only own one from Nina Ricci that I purchased secondhand and it had a bunch of loose threads. I would never pay top dollar for poor quality. It's not the label, it's the quality. And label or high price tag does not equal quality. That said, I'm sorry you had to experience that with your scarves. It's a terrible waste of good hard earned money. I hope you've found better scarf options that don't hurt your wallet as much :)

The secret is that Fossil makes alot of the watches for the so call luxury brands and name brands watches.

Randi Gerber haha Valid point! Then in saying that not everyone has the same goals and lifestyles. I try to see them without any judgement.

I was gifted a great vintage piece of furniture - it was late 1800's and I was the only one who would take it. My Mama trained me to look for good pieces knowing I was crazy about furniture and anything interior design. When I was in a pinch I found a Buyer for the Berky and Gay late 1800's piece I got $350 out of it I still regret selling it for cheaper than it was worth( $ 500) but, I couldn't lug it with me from apartment to apartment and the person who bought it knew what they were getting and why. modern furniture does not have resale value . Knowing what has real value over time or not has to be learned just like everything else. Yes many people buy stuff stupidly for keeping up with the Johnses or because they want to appear like they have money and end up looking tacky, but not everyone does this.

"That's a really good tip not to buy the hottest from the runway because that's the item that's going to be the most hyped." I absolutely agree!
If you care about that sort of thing. If you have a brain, then you simply don't care, and will wear something from last season, or three seasons ago, or whatever. I do. I either like it or I don't like it....and if everyone else is wearing it, or no on e else is wearing it....all the same to me.
I almost never comment on RUclips videos but just to put it out there for anyone watching this. H&M’s conscious brand is extremely lacking in transparency and is a bandaid on the sheer amount of unethical and unsustainable practices they partake in. Look at places like Everlane or Organic Basics for high quality sustainable fashion and basics that won’t kill your bank account like designer fashion will but ACTUALLY have the planet in mind rather than telling you they do just to get conscious consumers to shut up.

Great definition of “time piece” - I always thought it was because a watch kept time but I’ve changed my mind. 😃
Catherine Keeler I think it’s both! I don’t think a Disney store watch is considered a time piece hahaha but yes, the time has relevance as well as the fact that it lasts a lifetime :)
#6 hits me on the X. I regret even buying from Pandora and Swarovski. For those prices I could have bought real jewelries that I can pawn or sell in the future if i need money.
I've met people who own pawn shops and the only thing that they will consider is the gold content (18K and above, baht chains even better) and its weight. Even with that, they will only buy something from you at wholesale, not what you bought it for at retail. Very few of them know about gems, and they don't usually care about whether you purchased them at someplace like Cartier or Van Cleef. Jewelry stores who buy jewelry function similarly.
i got a swarovski set from my boyfriend 3 years ago...earings,bracelet and neckleace....i worn them maybe 5 times and they are peace of garbage now...all part that were silver are orange/brown now and few of little stones fell.i also got a piercing from my friend, worn it for 2 days and went to replace it bc i was left with 10% of the stones on the piercing.same happened with replacement one.and guy in the store accused me that i am taking them down by myself.i would never buy anything from them.and when people ask me what do i want(for birthday,christmas...)my answer is always-anything but swarovski

I agree, she was unnecessarily rude. Nobody called her ignorant on what the brand was about. They were only offering help. She should apologize imo.
Your criticisms of the diamond industry are spot on. The mark up on diamonds is ridiculous and I hate seeing young couples go into Tiffany's thinking they're getting a diamond that is somehow different when it's the same stones but with 1000% markup. I often go to auctions to buy older stones at wholesale prices or a little above, and have them reset in a setting of my choice. Sometimes they even have loose stones on auction (ie. not already set in a ring) and those can be a good deal.
You can find estate jewelry that is lovely, much cheaper than new stuff and unique.
@@calicoquilter4472 Agreed. A nice art deco diamond ring can be found for much less than a cheesy Tiffany ring. Also, diamonds in general are a little gauche IMO at this point. I don't care how ethical tiffany says their diamonds are sourced, we all know that its bullshit. How can any diamonds be sourced ethically when the whole damn industry is controlled by a cartel. They can't be. There are plenty of gems that are equally as beautiful as a diamond and will make you more unique. Kunzite, Morganite, Tourmaline, Aquamarine, Moissanite or even Lab created diamonds... Also, there are etsy jewelers who make STUNNING rings with either real diamonds, lab diamonds, moissanite etc...and you can literally get it customized or even completely custom created. Thanks for re-filming😊Totally agree with your picks!!
Tiffany (and other similar jewelers) do require higher grade cut and quality for their stones. But if you compare the same quality stones elsewhere, I’m sure there’s still a markup based on name. 😬
For comparative quality you literally can pay less than 1/4 of their prices.
i of course take colour and cut into account when im comparing pricing.. same quality stones, both 2 carats, the tiffs will be double the price.. maybe a third less than a high quality stone double the size.. :)
You can be equally as fastidious about choosing a good quality stone at a wholesaler, you know. Just because Tiffany only accept stones with "very good" cut or H colour and above doesn't justify them marking up their stones to nearly a 1000%. You can have the same parameters when you're looking for a stone yourself at the wholesaler or more affordable jeweller.
Style Hard yes! I just thought I’d mention it since everyone might not realize. (My grandfather was a diamond wholesaler 😉). I love your videos and your dedication to real value!!!

I do agree, I wear things from Zara an HM.
@@velmasmith4604 Exactly!
I whole heartily agree with you. Some of fashion on the runway is sometimes so outrageous one cannot wear it on a daily basis. I like to dress in classic pieces that are timeless.
True 😏
Brilliant tips! The head - to - toe logo thing 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽
Seriously live for your videos!! I find them so helpful and entertaining 💞💞😍👍🏻
Omg... so I asked for a swatch when I was 11 for Christmas. It was the brown leather band with
A square face. Of course my parents got the plastic one. The one I wanted was 350$. And of course they didn’t get that one for me.
My husband collects watches. It’s his favorite jewelry to wear.
I told him this story when we first met. 20 year ago...
20 years... AGO...
Last year he got all excited calling someone chatting and yelling I’ll be back gotta go...
At dinner he said. Love. Remember that swatch you wanted? Long ago? I got tears in my eyes. I said, square face swatch? Brown leather band. Swatch imprint on the buckle of the band? My husband chuckles and says wow... you even remember the swatch stamp on the buckle?
He got cupcakes for desert and my box had my watch in it.
Gurl... I cried... took me back to that Christmas. I wasn’t upset my parents went the sorta inexpensive route. I had a huge Christmas and I understand a 350$ watch for an 11 year old is a bit much but a girl can
Dream right.
Well... dreams do come true!
When I wear this piece. It literally gives me the chills to put it on. He told the fella he purchased it from. How I was going to have a little meltdown, knowing I wanted this watch since I was 11!!!
Talk about the sweetest and most special watch I own! I covet it more that my Rolex, although it’s a close to my new Hamilton, and Stauer antique watch.
I literally cried. I couldn’t believe I was wearing the watch I wanted since my childhood!
When a boyfriend- fiancés- husband, listens to those tiny details of your life and they come through with something so minute... yet so special... utterly priceless. 🤭🥰🤯
This was great, I wear Zara with CL shoes.
i love the way you deliver info, you are so smart and you are on point! i do research when i buy something
Now 4 your thumb nail where did you get outfit from? Or is it a blouse or a dress very pretty.
I want to hear your thoughts on Cartier bracelets
Indeed. It should be interesting.
They're a ripoff. It's about $1500 worth of gold but prices at $6000.
Yes. Pls share your thoughts.
Personally I think it’s a waste of money. You’re not actually paying for the value of the piece, you’re paying for the name. Jewellery should be beautiful and bespoke, not something everyone has as a display of “supposed” status.
My friends have them and they keep braking. Terrible for what you pay
Omega and Rolex are top notch fossil makes many higher end watches as well
Omega and Rolex are overrated. Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron constantin are top notch
J Ye Audemars Piguet 😍
Affordable brands like Seiko, Orient and Citizen make equally nice pieces for a cheaper price. I am always amazed what Rolex and Omega charge for mediocrity.
@@jy3754 Jaeger Le Coultre aka the watchmaker of watchmakers, made some movements for the Big three : Patek, Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe. Better off buying a JLC , reverso being their ultimate signature together with the gyrotourbillon, if you are into haute horlogie. Breguet is known for its founder inventing the tourbillon.
Great review, Doll. Love how direct you are and jump right in.
You're not pretentious - you're professional, straightforward & fun⚘
Absolutely agree with you about every point! Fantastic advices!! ❤️❤️
Can u please do a top designer skincare brands I’m always so confused. Like what brands are good?
Hi zehavah, are you a beginner to cosmetics and very young? Do you have access to big department stores where you live? They offer Parfum and cosmetics on the ground floor. At least in Europe USA and Canada, Dubai and cities in Africa. I could recommend hundred products. Does not help you if you cannot get them where you live. Why do you still ask for designer skincare when she told in her video that it is too expensive and helps only the money of the Company? Wanna throw money out for waste? You know how Google works? Just put in the words like moisturizer, mascara, cream, cruelty free, organic or whatever you want on your skin. Then do the research. Have fun and spend your money wisely.
@zehavah fay, If you have a phone with a camera, take a photo of the active ingredients of scrubs, toners, moisturizers, eye creams, etc. in a department store. Then go to a pharmacy where they sell the same skin care categories and you will be very surprised. For the most part, active ingredients and percentage are the same, except the price point at a pharmacy or discount retailer can be so much more less expensive! I can't name names because I used to work for the higher end brands.
When she said head to toe logo was not bougie but rather over the top or try hard, that's what bougie is...😂
I totally agree with everything, I also learned the hard way.
I think you pretty much nailed it on the head with all of the categories you picked! There is so much money that luxury companies put into marketing and only a fraction that goes into the actual products themselves. Another suggestion for diamonds are Lab Grown diamonds - they're actual diamonds but grown in a lab, hence the name. They're not inexpensive but about 1/3 less than mined diamonds and they're considered eco-friendly bc they don't involve digging up the earth. They're amazing and should be looked into - absolutely real diamonds but just grown... Also, spot on about watches. Save your money and get a timepiece - there are many great ones like Baume & Mercier; Cartier, etc that specialize in watches and the second-hand market is great. All of your tips go back to being wise about your money and knowing what it's actually going to! Keep it up!!!
When you were talking about luggage and how much it gets beat up while traveling I had flashbacks of airports in several Asian countries where there are machines set up to basically mummify suitcases with plastic wrap...it's funny to me (and we are funny to them for not doing it so there you go).
Karen Davis they have those in Europe too.
Karen Davis We have those in the UK and I’ve seen them in some US airports too. Not everyone uses them though.
That’s the thing consumers love buying pretty packaging not about the products n also branding
Hola 👋 I agree 💯 about the watches... I have had being using my Cartier for 10 years and still classic.. love your dress 👗 only you can wear those earrings and make them look chic🥰
My sister spent $30k on luggage set of LV i had a heart attack she went to credit card debt! But hey her life money right?! Pissed myself laughing she used it first time on an international flight and boy oh boy watching my sisters face as we went to collect her luggage! Full grown adult in tears yelping tears! The luggages were damaged hardware and print torn an scratched. She went ape s***! At airport staff! Thank heavens for my 3 set $40 luggage from Wal-Mart lol. To this day she's paying LV for extras to fix all damages caused by customs! On top of paying her $30k creditcard payments! You can't really take it anywhere without damages like so impractical!
Probably didn't purchase the luggage covers from LV.
Facts on the Fossil watch they are amazing!
I love watches!! I have watches from Michael Kors, Fossil, Versace, and Breda. I rotate and and take care of them. I didn’t spend a ridiculous amount of money either. They are very nice time pieces, but they’re also ( in my opinion),an accessory that can compliment and enhance what you’re wearing.
Hello fellow watch lover! I adore my watches and wear a different one every day. Different color leather bands, different metals - adds a zing to your look.
Calico Quilter
Exactly! 😊
Thanks for advice.
Love the dress you are wearing in this clip. Where did you get it?
linked!
I’ve had my gucci carry on luggages for years and they are still in beautiful condition, looks brand new, hold a lot of stuff and is still very useful, especially for over night stays and just a carry on for the plane. Maybe it depends on the brand of the luggage but I agree we shouldn’t be paying for a luggage that will be going through cargo, but carry ons that are with you at all times are very useful and definitely worth it in my option!
Watch BEHIND THE MIRROR on RUclips
Changed my whole outlook on designer goods !
Hmm, I agree about gucci luggage, but my Tumi suitcases have lasted a decade
Alex Ahmed I agree! If you travel a lot, Tumi is worth it for a basic piece. I’ve had mine 15 years, I think? Anyways, if there are any issues, they should replace or repair the piece, in my experience with Tumi.
I use good old samsonite, reliable and the warranty is wonderful
@@caitlin862 the quality of Samsonite has fallen. They wanted to charge me 200 to fix a bad dent which shouldn’t happen in an oyster. I bought Proteca with a high price point of being Japanese made, and that had endured a lot more trauma (including my entire weight falling smack on top from a shove) plus it is not so easily broken into due to the hard wearing material and metal joints. My samsonite would have broke into two. I never travel without my Proteca now.
Just found you and subscribed. I was nodding so hard during the video - completely agree with everything you have said!
Loved this so much! Very informative 🙌🏽
Last week I was wearing a sweater with the brand on my arm and I was going to pair it with shoes of the same color but with the name of the brand, they were different brands but I immediately changed my shoes because I felt so tacky, and I don't know how people can be branded from head to toe, it's not my job to judge but it feels really uncomfortable
I buy and wear a lot of designer, but there are no names to be seen garishly. Most names are very discreet in small writing on my handbags, if any. Sure the double cc's are visible, but Burberry (not the patterned), Celine, my YSL, etc. all have the name, but you would not be able to see it unless you were very close up. The people that wear the big logos that are very visible, or the monogram styles, are just new money that need to show that they can afford the item...no thanks
"You're just paying for the name..." Well that's true with everything "designer," not just luggage. The vast majority of designer stuff is just crap made in foreign countries by poor people, for literally pennies, then the price is jacked up to ridiculous amounts for the dummies who buy it just for the names.
Bullshit. The majority of designer( big name anyhow) stuff is made in FRANCE OR ITALY AND IS EXTREMELY WELL MADE. Show me one Chanel or Balmail item made in China. Besides, who do you think does make good clothing? Its certainly not going to be Target.
Yes, they want us to PAY for the name and then WEAR their name out in the world, ADVERTISING for them! Why in the world should I pay my hard-earned money to advertise for someone??? They should be paying me for that service. Quite the scam! Such a scam, in fact, that it’s sometimes difficult to find clothing and products without logos.
Something doesn't have to be made by hand to be well made That is the whole point of READY TO WEAR COLLECTIONS MADE BY EVERY DESIGNER, ASSWIPE. And considering you know nothing about me or what I own or don't own, I would say youre an idiot.
@FBI Patrick Star Why the animosity? Did she strike a cord?
Really agree with all your points! It was like you put all my thoughts on your video! Lovely! 😉
What’s your opinion on cartier love bracelets plain vs 4 diamonds vs 10 diamond .
Just un clou regular plain vs with diamonds
Plus the gold or rose gold
Do u mind doing a review on them
I am thinking of buying Love bracelet and just in clou bracelet but so confused which one to pick from love bracelets and just un clou .
Wrong D&G prints are classic in a way even if the print is old season it’s still recognisable and very beautiful.
She never said they weren't beautiful but they do go out of style a bit cos they are so trendy. I would still wear it cos I don't follow trends but for some people it's a deal breaker
Great video! I would like to add "high-end" makeup. The differences between makeup brands are much, much smaller than advertising would like to make you think. You don't need to spend a ton of money on a Lancôme mascara - L'Oreal will do very nicely, and since Lamcôme is actually owned by L'Oreal, chances are the two mascaras come from the same vat anyway.
Quality in cosmetics has nothing whatsoever to do with price; there are good and bad products in all price ranges.
Thank you for being so honest, more people need to know this. Here Here !!
You give the most valuable advice for luxury brands shopping! Thank you so much. You comment on the luxury products are very wise and I couldn't agree with you more.
Tumi used to be one of my favorite luxury brands, but they've become rather cheap-looking over the past few years (just like most brands these days)
Sorry Cant related for ur opinion for Tiffany, they have great cut, shape and perfect blink tht diffent then others, even they are best brands tht every expert say and literally in all the web or stuffs who talk bout diamond...
i do love tiffany for all my jewelry collection.
I am a Tiffany fan myself. I appreciate clean designs and that's hard to find in lower end jewelry lines or department stores. Yet Tiffany isn't so outrageous like its upper crust peers (Cartier, Bvlgari, etc). That said, their pieces are way overpriced so you're definitely paying for the name. There's a huge markup. And I know of a couple of ex-Tiffany employees and they agree that sometimes you can find a similar design elsewhere or have it replicated by a local jeweler. A simple solitaire diamond ring is a dime a dozen. Nothing unique about that. What IS unique are their special collections like the Paloma Picasso pieces, etc.
Good to know I already have been on board with everything you’ve stated! Thank you for reiterating my thoughts:). Great video!!!
The dedication is real! 😘
