Yes, the 50cc is identical (except ofcourse the engine). But the stock mirrors as you said, are placed too narrowly... Replacing them with ones that stick out more, might solve your isue.

What is the difference between this and the RS3?
RS3 is built with the newer engine from the Yamaha R125 (2009-2013), whilst this one was built with the older aircooled engine from the Yamaha 125 YBR

I'm guessing they used some sort of adapter plate for the engines... I don't have the bike anymore, so i can't check it.

110-115 km/h with a different front sprocket (27 tooth if i remember correctly)

It was 115kph.. 120 if i really pushed it... But not much else.
